Electoral Funding and Disclosure Reform bill to get rid of GetUp

Letter to the Editor

GetUp gears up to stop legislation designed to get rid of them. Campaign starts to ensure the ALP opposes it

Great, at last somebody has found some political guts to get rid of GetUp. George Soros, their main financier, will be livid; he has been funding terror campaigns world -wide including the ragtag Marxist GetUp mob in Australia.

George was found contributing towards Hilary’s anti-Trump campaign and Obama’s 30,000 strong mob of mad women and malcontent men trying to usurp the legitimate election of Trump by staging women’s marches consisting the communist, atheist, anti-family horde of dykes, trannies and a few poofter terrorists thrown in.

George Soros, financial backer of GetUp which will be targeted by legislation forcing it to disclose its financial backers

Then there also is the other mob of anarchists Soros is funding in a direct attempt to overthrow Trump and his far stronger tens of million supporters. GetUp features in similar anti-Christian, anti-social activities across Australia usurping traditional ways of life practiced by the majority of Australians.

Look at what this bunch of anarchists did to Tony Abbott.

It propagates phony global warming and climate change theories when we are actually heading towards an ice age. Getup and the terrorist George Soros in Australia? No thanks!

For the first time I would support Liberal legislation designed to rid Australia of a terrorist organisation.

EHP calls tenders to bulldoze huge dam wall near Cooktown; 30,000 tonnes of potential sediment runoff

The fallout from the 2016 acquisition of Springvale Station at Lakeland continues after the Queensland Department of Environment and Heritage Protection called for tenders to demolish a 1200 megalitre irrigation dam on the property.

Last year the EPH was caught out when a neighbour complained of long silt plumes found in the permanent East Normanby River after the department began siphoning water from the $400,000 dam into the river.

The river eventually drains into Princess Charlotte Bay and onto the Great Barrier Reef.

This massive irrigation dam costing $400,000 to construct will soon be bulldozed by EHP, by removing an estimated 30,000 cubic metres of earth in the wall. An engineer predicts this soil could eventually end up in the river system and be deposited onto the Great Barrier Reef.

The water was left to run across 150 metres of soil between the dam bank and the river, gouging one metre channels in the earth creating many hundreds of tonnes of sediment which flowed into the river.

A local engineer estimated the wall would contain 30,000 cubic metres of compacted earth, when removed could eventually end up in the river system.

The hydrologist who designed the dam for the previous owners said the dam wall was sound and in no way would have breached after heavy rain events.

The EHP Minister at the time, Stephen Miles, claimed the design of the dam’s construction was unknown and therefore considered the wall “unsafe.”

Refuting the Minister’s assertion, the hydrologist, Geoff Benjamin, of Mareeba, said the wall remained intact and sound after 300 mm fell in one night, before the wall construction was finally completed.

“The dam was designed with an effective spillway and fish-way, however construction work was forced to cease due to early wet-season rains,” Mr Benjamin said.

“Although I did not visit the site when work ceased, I believe that the embankment height was about 1 to 1.5 m below the intended final design elevation.

“At this elevation a natural depression on the eastern side provides a broad, natural spillway so that the embankment would not be compromised in the event of intense storm run-off; which is in fact, exactly what occurred when Cyclone Etta, I think, passed straight over the property in January 2014, reportedly dropping about 300 mm of rain over-night!

“The statement about ‘unacceptable safety risk’ would therefore seem totally baseless.  Unfortunately such uninformed, alarmist comments seem to be what we’ve come to expect from this particular Minister.”

Defending the decision to demolish the valuable water asset, home to innumerable birdlife and other aquatic wildlife, the EHP claimed the design was unknown, which has been ridiculed by Mr Benjamin.

“Likewise the assertion that ‘the status of its design and capacity is unknown’ is inaccurate, since I provided details of the design to one of the Minister’s departmental officers not long after EHP acquired the Springvale property,” Mr Benjamin said.

The EHP claimed it acquired Springvale to prevent sediment runoff into the Great Barrier Reef catchment, however the Chief Scientist for Queensland, Dr Geoff Garrett, told a meeting of landowners at Lakeland prior to the property purchase there was no measurable sediment runoff from the Upper Normanby catchment.

Minister Miles ignored this advice and continued with the purchase, wasting $7 million of taxpayers funds and removed 4000 head of cattle from the local economy.

The property is being divided into yet more unnecessary national park with the balance being given to an indigenous group.

Tenders to decommission the dam were called on January 24 and will close on March 5, 2018.

Had enough of climate change yet?

Be Careful What you Wish For

In today’s crazy world, western politicians are wasting billions of tax-payer dollars force-feeding costly unreliable green energy in the bizarre belief that this will somehow change Earth’s climate.

Even more incredible, they fear global warmth and seem hell-bent on creating global cooling. They should study climate history. It is snow and ice, cold dry air and carbon dioxide starvation we need to fear, not a warm, moist, fertile, bountiful atmosphere.

Climate change is natural and unstoppable.

Just 20,000 years ago, Earth was in one of its recurring glacial phases. A thick massive ice sheet smothered Canada, Alaska, Iceland, GrRadical Greens exposedeenland, North Asia and Europe as far south as London. Much of the animal and plant life of the previous warm era was extinguished. Even in warmer lands not covered by the ice sheet, plants suffered as the cold oceans removed moisture and carbon dioxide plant food from the atmosphere.

Then, because of changing cycles in Earth’s orbit and tilt, reinforced by changing solar cycles, the sun warmed the frozen lands. The great ice sheets melted, sea levels rose and the warming oceans expelled moisture and CO2 plant food into the atmosphere. Plant life recovered. Tundra, forests, grasslands and herbivores advanced towards the pole and fish became abundant in the shallow seas that flooded coastal plains. Hunters, herders, farmers and fishermen followed the food.

Human population increased greatly. They gave thanks for the warmth, and worshipped the sun.

But the peak of the modern warm era is past, and the natural cycles controlling global temperatures are pointing downwards.

Only an idiot with a death wish for life on Earth would attempt to accelerate our inevitable descent into the next ice age.

Luckily, their costly war on warmth is totally futile, but their war on carbon energy will prove tragically misguided in the cold times ahead.

Letter to the Editor

I don’t want to tell anyone any more bad news this year.  It can wait until 2018.

I want my grandchildren and great grandchildren  to remain innocent, to believe that the world is a wonderful and a safe place, where all their dreams will come true, where there is no bad government, a mainstream media and that reports the truth, that they can rely on their education system that they received, the established medical system, and that all is well, that if they work hard and do the right things that all their dreams will be accomplished.

I was born in Australia’s outback one month after the bombing of London by Hitler, and saw the end of WWll, though I was not affected too much because my mother grew all our food and my dad worked in the mines.  Millions died fighting for freedom and their countries.  The world that we had after the second world war, was one where everyone was so poor, so damaged, that they wanted nothing but good things for themselves and everyone else.  The children had no shoes and had to stand on sticks in the school playground so they would not burn the soles of their feet. Most of the girls had shoes, but many boys did not.  Children were lucky if they had 3 sets of clothes to change into, and only one toy was given for Christmas, and if you were very lucky you got another one for your birthday.  We didn’t know that we were poor, until we grew up and learned about it, because everyone was in the same situation. And so everyone worked hard, built a country that was, and is the envy of most others, a generous country where the rich and the workers provided enough tax, to a system that would provide help to the underprivileged and help to the widows. We were taught not to speak of politics or religion, because they would cause arguments.

Families did it tough 70 years ago yet the Aussie spirit was able to build the country that we enjoy today, which a reader says is all but destroyed by greedy corporate government

Most immigrants wanted to forget where they came from. The memories of the war horrors, memories too painful that they were tucked into the back of their minds never to be spoken of.  And so a country developed where we trusted the government, we trusted the authorities, we trusted each other, we trusted the churches, and we lost all knowledge of our political system, how it worked and our spiritual understanding of why knowing the difference between right and wrong was important to the survival of any civilization.  The agenda was set in the 1970’s to destroy the family unit by giving children more rights than their parents, and parents taught to put their own desires and happiness before all else.  Some were sensible enough to resist, but others were not.

In our ignorance we lost control of our destiny.  We gave our rights over to the atheist United Nations, who had a different agenda than those who went to war to protect our freedom, our sovereignty, our families, our children, our land, our industries, our homes and our survival.  The people lost their constitutional rights, their Constitution was corrupted,

and the corruption sealed in the courts with judges on the same agenda as the authoritarian New World Order.   Australia lost their inherited religion, their beliefs and their soul.

Powerful pharmaceutical cartels took over the health of the nation, trained the doctors, rewarded the universities and government officials, so that laws were introduced that had no bearing on good health, but were focused on power for a few, and financial rewards for those who co-operated with the population reduction agenda of the New World Order.  Many had no idea what was happening, others did not care and those who could see the truth were labelled “Conspiracy theorists”.

And so we now find ourselves in the position that the “state” has taken control of all aspects of our lives, our freedom of choice, our most precious gift from God, is almost gone.     That is why the “Great Division” is taking place, a heavenly and spiritual movement, in total opposition to the “one world agenda of the United Nations” and those who wish to control a world made in their own godless image.   This is not a division between races or different countries, it is a division between good and evil.   Please meditate on this to see what part you play in the destiny of the planet.  No matter what age you are, you are more important than you ever imagined.  Everyone plays a part in the survival or the destruction of the earth.

New electorate of Cape York looming after welfare vote dominates result

At least 4000 voters, solely dependent on government welfare payments to survive, have elected Labor in the seat of Cook, leaving the economic generators of the Far North floundering without a say in government.

To separate the disparate welfare influence from the southern half of the Cook electorate it has been suggested the creation of a new electorate would be more in the interests of maintaining a thriving agricultural and mining industry.

Plans to create a separate state seat of Cape York with a boundary drawn north of Laura will now escalate before the Labor Party is able to further entrench itself with welfare voters.

Patriach of North Qld Bob Katter has been approached by indigenous leaders seeking to form a new electorate of Cape York

One proponent of a new seat is the patriarch of the north, Bob Katter, who said he had been approached in the past by indigenous leaders seeking support for a separate electorate.

There is no farming industry north of Laura, just a handful of viable cattle breeding properties locked in a continuing battle with federal and state environment departments, indigenous land rights encroachments, egregious mining exploration companies and a Labor Party determined to shut down the cattle industry.

During the election campaign, notorious Green lackey, Deputy Premier Jackie Trad, threatened land owners with a new round of Wild Rivers, more water storage restrictions and World Heritage listings over the remaining 50 per cent of the land area of the Peninsula not already languishing under conservation zones.

The world’s toughest vegetation management laws will be introduced under the guidance of two of the ALP’s in-house, rabid greenies, Trad and colleague Dr Stephen Miles.

If either possessed a modicum of political will, no help can be expected from so-called representative bodies such as Agforce or the Natural Resources Management (NRM) quangos which are dependent almost entirely on government funding to survive.

Agforce, the last bastion of the failed Liberal Party will struggle to attract membership or have any direct policy influence on a resurgent Labor Party, driven entirely by the trade union movement and the United Nations Agenda 30 to which Queensland is a signatory.

Spot the clowns: Miles and Trad want to lock up Cape York in a deal with the Greens for allowing Adani mine to go ahead

It will be an entirely political manoeuvre to protect the Far North from the flush of international socialism seeping from the confines of the Queensland south east corner which enjoys state government largesse at a ratio of 10 to one over the north.

It is only the cross bench in State Parliament which now can thwart the UN agenda pushed by the Marxists of the Queensland Labor Party seemingly aided and abetted by the flailing Liberals.

As one commentator quipped, “there are no Nationals in the Queensland parliament, just Liberals wearing Akubras.”

The electorate of Traeger, formerly Mt Isa until the unaccountable Electoral Commission tagged it with this misnomer, was held easily by Robbie Katter with 66 per cent of the primary vote.

In the campaign Katter warned the ALP that one of his first policy initiatives for the new parliament would be to create the new State of North Queensland.

This policy obviously resonated with the adjoining, redrawn electorate of Hill easily taken by his colleague Shane Knuth, in spite of the best attempts of the Electoral Commission to gerrymander Knuth from Parliament.

Hinchinbrook, joining Hill to the south also seems set to go to Katters Australian Party.

North Queenslanders will be assured of a tumultuous ride during this term of parliament, towards attaining their well-deserved, modernised statehood.

At the close of counting on Tuesday night, Labor held Cook with a margin of 2900 preferences.

Greens determined to have us riding pushbikes and using paraffin lamps

Back to Bolted-Down Industries

by Viv Forbes, Science Writer

Once upon a time Australia was attractive to processing, refining and manufacturing industries using our abundant mineral and food resources, our reliable low-cost coal-fired electricity and a workforce trained in technical skills.

No longer.

Our last oil refinery has closed, leaving just 3 weeks supply of refined motor fuel in the country and for the first time in at least 60 years Australia no longer produces motor vehicles. China and India have about 430 coal power plants under construction but Australia has not built a single coal-fired power station for seven years – some politicians even rejoice when they manage to close and demolish one. Brisbane’s new trains are being made in India, Victa mowers are made in China and most coastal shipping died decades ago. Steel works and refineries producing aluminium, copper and zinc are under stress. All these industries are being pushed overseas by costly unreliable electricity and other government barriers and burdens.

Australia has only three weeks supply of refined fuel available at any time. The ALP, Greens and Liberals have supported closing down of our onshore refineries preferring to import fuel. Australia runs on diesel. The stupid Greens will continue to enforce the collapse of the fossil fuel industry until every citizen is riding a push bike.

Red-green policies being pushed by all major parties are making Australia more dependent on bolted-down industries such as mining and farming that can’t be sent overseas because their basic resources are here. And green opposition to nuclear power increases Aussie reliance on coal.

A century ago Australians relied on wool, wheat, gold, silver, copper, lead-zinc, butter, beef and timber – all products of bolted-down industries.

Red-green policies are pushing us back to those days. Politicians need to remember Newton’s Law of Bureaucracy – whenever the government tries to use the force of law to achieve economic goals the long term results will be equal and opposite to those intended.

So in the long run, red-green energy and environmental policies will make us more dependent on the industries they now attack – mining, farming, forestry and fishing.

Ice is the issue not warming

by Viv Forbes Science Writer

It was ice, not global warming, that killed and entombed millions of mammoths and woolly rhinos in Siberia and Alaska.

It was unrelenting cold and then ice, not global warming, that forced the Vikings out of Greenland.

It was bitter winters, not heat waves, that finally defeated the armies of Napoleon and Hitler in Russia. George Washington’s army also suffered from an unusually bitter winter at Valley Forge in 1778, in the depths of the Little Ice Age.

Snowy blizzards periodically kill more cattle than heatwaves in Colorado, South Dakota and Texas.

When the Tambora volcano exploded in 1816 it spewed massive volumes of ash and “greenhouse” gases including carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. There was no global warming from the greenhouse gases, but the heat-blocking ash-filled atmosphere and a quiet sun caused “the year without a summer”. Failed crops and famine stalked Europe, Asia and America.

It is icebergs, not warm oceans, that sink ships like the Titanic, and spreading sea ice trapped “The Ship of Fools” in Antarctica.

Every major geological era has ended with massive volcanism on land and under the seas. Molten lava heats the seas and eruptions on land fill the atmosphere with dust which blocks incoming solar energy. There is rapid evaporation from the warm seas followed by rapid condensation in the cold dark atmosphere. This process dumps massive snowfalls which become ice sheets on land, starting a new ice age and bringing the extinction of many species.

It is lethal global cooling we need to fear, not life-sustaining global warming.

Serious Defects in Australia’s Energy Policies

Donald Trump:

“… As President, I can put no other consideration before the wellbeing of American citizens.  The Paris Climate Accord is simply the latest example of Washington entering into an agreement that disadvantages the United States to the exclusive benefit of other countries, leaving American workers — who I love — and taxpayers to absorb the cost in terms of lost jobs, lower wages, shuttered factories, and vastly diminished economic production.

Thus, as of today, the United States will cease all implementation of the non-binding Paris Accord and the draconian financial and economic burdens the agreement imposes on our country.  This includes ending the implementation of the nationally determined contribution and, very importantly, the Green Climate Fund which is costing the United States a vast fortune….”

Mismanagement of Springvale by EHP

Robbie Burns
EHP Brisbane
July 17, 2017

Re: Queensland Inc purchase of Springvale Station, west of Cooktown

Dear Mr Burns,

Further to our recent phone conversation about the mismanagement of Springvale by the EHP I would like to make the following points as per your request:

  • The $7m purchase of Springvale was made on the basis of halting erosion and runoff into Princess Charlotte Bay
  • This has been proven to be false and misleading data on sediment flows given to the EHP by a local researcher, for now it seems personal benefit
  • Your own empirical data published in 2013, previous to the purchase of the station shows that Springvale contributes less than 1% of reef runoff from the upper catchment
  • Your own data published in 2013 shows that Lakefield National Park contributes 86% of runoff onto the reef
  • You have no suitable management plans for the station that have been agreed to by neighbouring properties, other than Tim Hughes
  • Last week Springvale management firebombed a neighbour’s property without telling the owner
  • Previous owners of the station, historically noted as well respected natural bushmen and conservationists, say there are no specific ecosystems found on the station that would justify national park status
  • Springvale has 4000 acres of developed cultivation and three flood-lift irrigation licences for the Normanby River system
  • The property is too highly developed for conservation values
  • Cook dam, built on the station four years ago contains about 1000 ml of rain water
  • It was designed by a Mareeba-based hydrologist and has been assessed by a local engineer as sound, it has survived four wet seasons, two with rainfall in excess of 50 inches, 20 in one week in 2015, and two cyclones
  • It is anti-human nonsense to replace sound engineering with GAIA-based  Agenda 21ideology that demands man-made structures be torn down so as to revert to nature
  • This dam cost $400,000 to construct and would have provided irrigation water to support a multitude of food crops, thus providing indigenous jobs and prosperity for the Lakeland District and beyond
  • The hydrologist who designed the dam has refuted allegations by your department that the wall is unsound
  • Hydrologist Jeff Benjamin designed the dam and I will include comments he has made:

My personal view is that preservation of the dam as a sediment detention storage and wildlife refuge that would serve a more useful purpose than removing it, as there is some seriously fragile, eroded country just West and up-stream of the dam that no amount of OUR money thrown at it will ever stabilize.

The dam was designed with an effective spillway and fish-way, however construction work was forced to cease due to early wet-season rains.  Although I did not visit the site when work ceased, I believe that the embankment height was about 1 to 1.5 m below the intended final design elevation.  At this elevation a natural depression on the eastern side provides a broad, natural spillway so that the embankment would not be compromised in the event of intense storm run-off; which is in fact, exactly what occurred when Cyclone Etta, (I think), passed straight over the property in January 2014, reportedly dropping about 300 mm of rain over-night!  The statement about “unacceptable safety risk” would therefore seem totally baseless.

  • A large pumping unit, rented from Coates Hire in Cairns was seen on the dam bank some weeks before media attention. Another dam was also being emptied.
  • This pump was placed in a shed at the homestead, out of the public view after the Minister was contacted by a reporter for his comments
  • Polypipe syphons that were in the dam draining the water were also removed after media and public scrutiny
  • A large amount of soil erosion damage was done by water running from the dam siphons onto the fragile soils causing one metre or more deep channels in the soils for 100 metres or more resulting in wide washouts below the dam wall. I have been able to source photographs of this wanton environmental damage which is a terrible indictment on your departmental officers and whoever ordered the dam’s destruction.
  • Neighbors downstream of Springvale on the East Normanby reported large sediment plumes in the river, making a complete mockery of your Minister’s prattle regarding sediment runoff as the reason for removing Springvale Station and 4000 head of cattle from production  leaving Cook Shire Council with an ever bigger hole in its dwindling rates income
  • Removing this dam will destroy the newly created ecosystem based on the dam environment. Local birdlife, aquatic life systems and water for the survival of native animals will disappear when this dam is bulldozed.
  • The biggest question remains. What to do with 30,000 cubic metres of  earth fill from the dam wall? Your officers, obviously intellectual pigmies by their actions in wanting to remove the dam, would have no ability to restore the site to its original state. Any attempt to do so will result in a large percentage of this fill ending up in the East Normanby during the next tropical rainfall event. Then it will be a factual doomsday for Princess Charlotte Bay and the presently healthy Barrier Reef, thanks to the stupidity of anti-human malcontents like Jackie Trad, Stephen Miles and Bob Brown(are they buddies?)
  • The only hope for small business and farmers, the real economic drivers of a once-prosperous Queensland  combined with 24 years of the worst governments ever seen in any post-war economy anywhere in the developed world, is to forever banish ALP/Greens/LNP governments.
  • We desperately need a Donald Trump clone in Australia to do away with all the population-reducing policies of the ISO, modern Labor and neo-Liberals. We could dump Paris, engage Clexit, ditch Agenda 21 cum 30, deny any further funding to you and your ilk, and hope the country can recover from the mother earth worshippers that infest your department(and all the others) not forgetting our infiltrated universities. Wow we might even return to God!

Yours faithfully,

Keith Courte JP

  • NB: I have never met nor spoken with the previous owner and do not know him, so please no witch hunts. Please do not again threaten me with trespass even though Springvale is the property of the political corporation, Queensland Inc. I have never placed a foot on the property. Should I come into possession of any more information I will send it to you.
