Katters Australia Party will be conducting a series of public meetings beginning Wednesday April 12, at Mareeba, Innisfail and Port Douglas to gauge support for crocodile egg removal and safari hunting legislation to be introduced into the Queensland parliament.
Further meetings will be held at Mossman and Innisfail where salt water crocodiles have attacked humans or animals and menaced tourists over the past few months.
Where: Mareeba Bowls Club, Anzac Avenue at 1.30 to 2.30pm, Wednesday April 12.
Innisfail Senior Citizens Hall, Owen St, Innisfail, 5.30 to 7.30pm, Wednesday April 12
Port Douglas Community Hall, Thursday, 9.30 to 11.30am, Thursday April 13
Bob Katter, Robbie Katter Member for Mt Isa and Shane Knuth Member for Dalrymple will be in attendance.
Member for Dalrymple Shane Knuth has reinforced Bob Katter’s call for an immediate but controlled crocodile cull in north Queensland after a family pet was killed on the weekend in the latest spate of attacks.
Melissa Horton’s family dog Rusty, a one-year-old purebred kelpie, was taken by a croc at the family property at Belvedere, just five kilometres north of Innisfail.
“This image is confronting and frankly heartbreaking for residents who are imagining that dog could have been their beloved pet, or much worse, their child,” Mr Knuth said.
The incident comes just weeks after a horror weekend of crocodile attacks, when a teenager was bitten on the arm in the Johnstone River in Innisfail, and a spearfisherman was killed in a suspected croc attack south of Cairns in mid March.
“Attacks are on the rise, the crocs we’re seeing are big, aggressive and territorial, and crocs are surfacing in places they’ve never been before,” Mr Knuth said.
“People are petrified to get out and enjoy the waterways, even in safe areas, with membership dropping in water sport clubs and iconic events cancelled due to croc sightings.
“Reports show seven beaches have been closed due to croc sightings in the past three months.”
On a recent flight, Mr Knuth said he saw several crocodiles, one as long as 5.5 metres, just below the Burdekin Falls Dam.
He said the recent high rainfall and flooding across the state could lead to even more croc activity and attacks in the near future.
Mr Knuth said failing to take action puts at risk Queensland’s $11 billion tourism industry.
“More than 22 million visitors come to Queensland each year and contribute billions to the state’s economy.
“People come to Queensland to enjoy sunshine and beaches, but the image they’re seeing now is croc attacks and croc signs everywhere; this is a very poor message to promote to international tourism.”
The KAP will draft legislation to allow for a controlled cull in populated areas across Queensland.
Mr Knuth said the animals could be culled or relocated to a crocodile farm, and safari hunting and egg collection initiatives could be set up to create jobs for Indigenous rangers.
Egg collection could also keep an extra few hundred thousand dollars in the Queensland economy that would otherwise be spent interstate.
“Commercial croc farms cannot source eggs from the wild for their breeding programs, meaning some Queensland farms buy their eggs from the NT Government, spending as much as $250,000 a year,” Mr Knuth said.
“It’s time to bring back the balance and prioritise human safety over crocs.”
Two weeks ago an experienced spear fisherman, Warren Hughes, swimming a reasonable distance from the mouth of the Russell River, north of Innisfail, was partially eaten by a 4.3 metre crocodile.
His family and friends are shocked beyond belief because death by crocodile attack is a very unpleasant way to die.
Now it seems this croc had been previously captured by wildlife officers then released because it did not show any signs of aggression. The Russell River is known locally to be crawling with crocodiles and has been for many years.
A prominent and respected professional member of the North Queensland community reported a large crocodile in the Russell River to the Department of Environment in recent months.
KAP Member for Kennedy, Bob Katter’s office has been informed that allegedly the reported crocodile was then trapped by the Department and released again as it did not show aggressive behaviour and was thought not to be a threat. It is said to have measured 4.3 metres.
This croc that attacked the Cairns spearfisherman was shot dead by wildlife officers last Tuesday. Any person living in the far north knows instinctively a crocodile from 500 mm to five metres long is a threat to humans.
This comes just two weeks after the State Government announced its crocodile management plan, where ‘remove and release’ are considered a key feature.
Mr Katter said, “We are saying you need croc culling, whether you put them into farms or whether you shoot them.
“The fundamental failure of the Government is that is has not come to grips with the grave danger to people, human beings from flying foxes and crocodiles. There couldn’t be a worse way to die.
“The way a crocodile kills you is just horrific. Who would impose that danger upon the people of your state?”
“The Government is talking about management programs that will scientifically assess the numbers and monitor and remove… ‘Remove, yeah to where?’ Well, North Queenslanders are laughing.
Seven years ago, a former member of Parliament had a mob of horses running in a leased paddock that fronted the freshwater upper reaches of the Russell River upstream from the Bruce Highway bridge .
There were several mares and foals running in the paddock over 12 months. When the owner came back to get the horses there were no foals and two mares were also missing.
A local farmer said he saw a crocodile attack a foal on the water’s edge so it was not hard to work out what had happened to the other horses.
An Aboriginal community member from Cape York Peninsula told Cairns News a week ago that not only saltwater crocs are in plague proportions but the smaller freshwater crocodile has bred profusely in creeks and rivers on the Peninsula over the past 40 years.
Dozens of ‘freshies’ were counted last year in a small, seasonal waterway just north of the Mitchell River in a nearly dry hole measuring 50 metres by five metres.
This was not normal and their numbers were so high that “not a fish has been left in our creeks and waterholes because the freshies cleaned up the lot,” said the traditional owner.
He said the explosion of crocodile numbers had unbalanced the environment and he doubted the barramundi and catfish numbers would ever be restored.
Mr Katter said he supported crocodile safari hunting run by Aboriginal communities to supplement their dwindling income in areas that once supported thousands of cattle and many jobs for indigenous people.
The Douglas Shire Council at Port Douglas is worried their tourist town will be bypassed by overseas visitors because of large crocodiles found at their beaches. Over the past three weeks three dogs have been taken by crocs while walking along their famous beaches. Late last year a woman was killed by a large croc just north of Port Douglas at Daintree.
Big Brother now wants to control your mind with a 5G network. This is scary, read the entire article:
Find out why 5G is the basis for the IoT (Internet of Things): a complete, inescapable technological control grid manipulating the human energy field.
By Makia Freeman
5G is being rolled out fast right now, with Verizon testing it out in 11 US cities and ATT also conducting experiments. For those who don’t know, 5G is the latest wireless system that telecommunications companies are trying to implement to service wireless communication. It’s designed to allow faster downloads of more data. It uses the 28, 37 and 39 GHz bands, also known as millimetre wave (mmW) spectrum. 5G, which comes from the term 5th generation, is designed to work in conjunction with what former CIA head David Petraeus called the Internet of Things or IoT. The agenda is to hook every single material thing on the planet, as well as humans themselves, onto a vast planet-wide web where everything and everyone become nodes on the network – connected by microchips which are nano-size and can be inhaled (like smart dust).
Many people are encouraging the advancement of 5G by their desire at all costs for convenience and speed (give me my multiple gigabit downloads now!). People are foolishly valuing this over privacy, safety and health. 5G is not merely an upgrade of wireless infrastructure; it is a giant leap towards the erection and installation of a total technological control grid. The agenda is to cover the entire Earth – including rural areas – with the 5G electromagnetic blanket, so that its effects can literally not be escaped by anyone living on this planet.
FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler’s Scary Speech
If I haven’t got your attention yet, please take a look at this video, where FCC (Federal Communications Commission) head Tom Wheeler lays out how 5G is going to happen – consequences be damned. At the 2:42 mark, the video goes through an edited version of his June 2016 speech at the National Press Club in Washington DC. From my perspective, Wheeler appears more than just intense or defiant; he borders on the psychopathic. This guy is another former corporate lobbyist using the good old “revolving door” at the top of the business-political world. He now occupies a key governmental office to promote the agenda of his former industry (telecommunications). He is advocating the rollout of a game-changing technology (with toxic and cancerous side effects for some) that’s going to affect all life on Earth, but he doesn’t want to wait for safety standards. Later on the video, Wheeler ignores and dodges questions about the wireless radiation-cancer connection.
Here’s a summary of his points:
– 5G will penetrate material objects better: thanks to “brilliant engineers”, 5G radiation will be even harder to shield yourself against;
– 5G will be infrastructure-intensive: the plan is to erect even more radiating towers in every corner of the planet, adding a new meaning to the concept of electromagnetic soup;
– 5G will make tens of billions of dollars for its owners through “unanticipated and unintended” consequences (after this point, Wheeler slams his fist on the podium and says, “That’s damn important”);
– 5G is going to go ahead without the FCC waiting for governmental standards (Wheeler proudly proclaims that “unlike other countries”, the US cares about being “first out of the gate” (i.e. economically). He suggests we “turn innovators loose” rather than wait for committees to decide things. He defiantly declares that, “We won’t wait for the standards”);
– 5G will require the sharing of frequencies with the military;
– 5G is the technological basis for the IoT (Wheeler states that “hundreds of millions of microchips” will be in everything [and everyone if they get their way]);
– All parts of the Earth will be covered, so there will be urban and rural radiation saturation.
The EPA May Have Been in Bed With Big Pesticide for Years
By Charles Pierce, Esquire – 20 March 17
The miracles of the discovery process, part infinity.
There is, at the moment, a massive lawsuit against the Monsanto company regarding Roundup, its most popular pesticide. The company is being sued by citizens who maintain that glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup, is responsible for their cancers. On Tuesday, the judge overseeing the case unsealed some of the documents that have been filed related to the case, and nobody comes out clean—not the company and, sadly, not the EPA, either.
From The New York Times:
The court documents included Monsanto’s internal emails and email traffic between the company and federal regulators. The records suggested that Monsanto had ghostwritten research that was later attributed to academics and indicated that a senior official at the Environmental Protection Agency had worked to quash a review of Roundup’s main ingredient, glyphosate, that was to have been conducted by the United States Department of Health and Human Services. The documents also revealed that there was some disagreement within the E.P.A. over its own safety assessment. In one email unsealed Tuesday, William F. Heydens, a Monsanto executive, told other company officials that they could ghostwrite research on glyphosate by hiring academics to put their names on papers that were actually written by Monsanto. “We would be keeping the cost down by us doing the writing and they would just edit & sign their names so to speak,” Mr. Heydens wrote, citing a previous instance in which he said the company had done this.
Bloomberg has focused in on one particular phone conversation that makes nobody look good.
The boast was made during an April 2015 phone conversation, according to farmers and others who say they’ve been sickened by the weed killer. After leaving his job as a manager in the EPA’s pesticide division last year, Jess Rowland has become a central figure in more than 20 lawsuits in the U.S. accusing the company of failing to warn consumers and regulators of the risk that its glyphosate-based herbicide can cause non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. “If I can kill this I should get a medal,” Rowland told a Monsanto regulatory affairs manager who recounted the conversation in an email to his colleagues, according to a court filing made public Tuesday. The company was seeking Rowland’s help stopping an investigation of glyphosate by a separate office, the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, that is part of the U.S. Health and Human Service Department, according to the filing.
The good people at DeSmog Blog have a solid review of the curious history that the EPA has with glyphosate, about which the EPA seems curiously ambivalent as regards classifying it as a carcinogen.
For example, why did the EPA determine in 1985 that glyphosate should be classified as a group C carcinogen — possibly cancer-causing in humans but lacking sufficient studies of humans and animals — only to reverse that decision six years later? Did it have anything to do with Monsanto’s influence over the agency, or did new studies emerge that cast doubt on previous conclusions? The latter seems less likely considering the fact that the bulk of independent research has reached the same conclusions about the existence of a probable link between Roundup’s glyphosate and cancers. Another question that these documents could finally answer is why the EPA has been constantly at odds with the majority of the scientific community over the potential dangers of glyphosate. If, in fact, Monsanto was submitting ghostwritten research to the agency, which then failed to do its own testing, that might explain why the EPA has never found a link (beyond the original determination in the 1980s). The answers to those questions may appear during the ongoing trials against Monsanto and as more documents are released from the trial.
This behaviour seems bizarre at best, and ethically dubious at worst, and it happened under the stewardship of the previous administration. I am not optimistic that things will improve under Scott Pruitt, the new EPA administrator, whose campaigns back in Oklahoma were into Monsanto for considerable dough. The discovery process can be a wonderful—if terrifying—thing.
Geo-engineering heating oceans and killing coral reefs
by Robert J Lee in Cairns
Climatologists are baffled why no cyclones have formed in the Far North so far this year, claiming it to be “unusual.”
Weather forecaster Tamika Tihema told the Cairns Post there was nothing on the radar to suggest things might change any time soon.
Not a single cyclonic system had formed in the eastern region which takes in both the Coral Sea and the Gulf of Carpentaria.
Ms Tihema said there had never been a year since records were kept when a cyclone did not form in the eastern region, although there was time yet.
Unfortunately the climatologists and the weather bureau have not factored in the increased chemtrail spraying activities over Cairns and the Tablelands ten days ago.
Chemtrail observers and analysts say the high altitude application of various chemical cocktails have been used by government for decades to alter weather patterns.
Cairns has had less than a normal wet season so far leaving ratepayers facing water restrictions early in the year.
Tablelands farm irrigators, having Tinaroo Dam as their main water supply, will soon face tighter restrictions with the dam capacity now at 43 per cent.
Cairns News is left wondering if irrigators and homeowners will ever face up to the fact that man made climate interference is not and has never been influenced by carbon dioxide.
It has been caused by decades of high-atmosphere chemical dispersion using specially adapted aircraft, not done by the Air Force, according to then Air Chief Marshall Angus Houston.
In a letter to a reader, Air Chief Marshall Houston denied the Royal Australian Air Force was using any of its aircraft to apply chemicals.
In what could have been the most pertinent point missing from his letter, he did not deny high altitude chemical spraying actually occurred.
Editor: This comment below from a researcher working at a prominent university explains how geo-engineering affects the climate and thus has contributed towards coral bleaching events on the Great Barrier Reef. Coral bleaching is nothing new. It was first recorded in the late 1800’s but the evidence shows coral recovers quite well with
nature’s wonderful regeneration process:
Comment: http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org is a credible site. Chemtrails is not the correct term to use. It is geoengineering, using a technique called Solar Radiation Management (SRM). There are many parts to this geoengineering story. It is modifying weather patterns all over the world and destroying the earths’ biosphere. What we are not being told is this is a military operation, the aerosol spraying consists of Barium, Strontium, Aluminium and Coal Ash. These are conductive materials (which also heat up the atmosphere) used to enhance the microwave technology – HAARP, Nexrad/Doppler, SBX electromagnetic operations.
Focus of the Media is on the freezing temperatures in the USA and Europe. This is because the northern Jet Stream has been manipulated further south from the Artic. The Artic has had record high temperatures, (as the Antarctic) causing massive ice melting events. The Artic permafrost is melting at an alarming rate causing massive amounts of trapped methane to be released into the atmosphere. Methane is far more deadly than CO2. CO2 is not the danger it is the methane. The methane releases are destabilizing the earthquake zone known as the Gakkel Ridge. The earthquakes along this ridge are causing more methane releases.
Once the ice melts at the Artic, known as a blue ocean event, the water will then be absorbing all the heat and the earth’s temperatures will rise rapidly.
Mass deaths of wildlife and sea life occur daily, the numbers are in the millions! Look up http://www.end-times-prophechy.org/animal-deaths-birds-fish-and-times.html Although this is a religious site the mass deaths are valid information – verified with links to the articles worldwide with records going back to 2011.
No one mentions the mass tree die offs world wide. Extensive world mapping is available on the internet, just look up mass tree die-offs.
Mass coral reef die-offs world wide also.
Fukushima plays a massive role in the destruction of the world ‘s oceans and atmosphere. It is a Nuclear War without a War. Radioactive water is pouring into the oceans, they do not have the technology to cap the damaged fuel rods. There are high levels of cesium-137, Iodine-131 and Strontium-90 in the oceans and in fish tested in Canada. Radioactive fish are filled with bloody, cancerous tumours and sea lions that have died tested positive for Leukemia. 210 quadrillion becauerels of cesium-137 has been released into the atmosphere and more daily. There are no safe levels of radiation exposure.

Dangerous rising sea levels are one the biggest scare tactics used by the Global Warming Alarmist establishment.
This hysteria is used to justify; higher taxes, bigger government and more subsidies to their associates in the wind turbine industry – all in the belief that King Canute like we can hold back the seven seas from rising.
* The Rudd/Gillard/Rudd government’s official Climate Commissioner and former Australian-of-the-Year, Tim Flannery has prophesied of 25 metre sea level rises.
“Picture an eight-storey building by a beach, then imagine waves lapping its roof,” Flannery terrifyingly warned of.
* ‘Our’ ABC runs alarmist headlines such as; “Brisbane, Sydney among cities that will slip under the waves with 2 degree Celsius global warming”, warning that an “estimated 90,000 Sydneysiders live in areas that would eventually become ocean …”
* Labor’s Deputy Opposition leader Tanya Plibersek tells stories of islands that have “already been swallowed by the rising ocean”. And when questioned on the claim, in parliament she farcically held up a picture of the open ocean as “proof” that the vanished island had been consumed by rising seas. (Although there was some confusion whether Ms Plibersek’s vanished island was called Eneko, Aneko or Atlantis)
However, to examine what’s really happening with “rising sea levels” perhaps Ms Plibersek could have checked out the Sydney Harbour foreshore in her own electorate, and looked at a few historical photo’s or examined the tide gauges which been measuring sea levels at Fort Denison ever since 1865.
Fort Denison, is one of eight islands in Sydney Harbour, and was originally named “Rock Island” by Governor Arthur Phillip soon after European settlement.
Noted for its distinctive, rocky topography, the island originally rose almost 15 metres above sea level.
In 1841, the island was levelled to the sea line to make way for a fortification in response to a perceived threat after two American warships entered the harbour at night and circled the Island.
The levelling of the Island can be considered one of the earliest ‘heritage issues’ in Sydney. The Presbyterian minster John Dunmore Lang derided its destruction as “the folly of man” and described the intact island as a ‘natural ornament of the harbour’ which had stood ‘like a sentinel keeping watch upon the harbour for thousands of years’.
The original construction plans were abandoned, and only resumed in 1855 due to fear of a Russian naval attack during the Crimean War.
The construction of Fort Denison was completed on 14 November 1857, and in 1865 a tide gauge was established by the Government Astronomer from the Sydney Observatory, and ever since, seas levels have been measured at Fort Denison, providing one of the longest running sea level records in the world.
No less an authority than the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) records that the sea level rise at Fort Denison is “averaging 0.65 millimeters/year based on monthly mean sea level data from 1886 to 2010”.
That’s 0.65mm a year, or 6.5mm a decade, or 6.5cm (about 2.5 inches) over an entire century.
SEA LEVEL RISES DECELERATING
One of Australia’s foremost experts on the relationship between climate change and sea levels, Phil Wilson has written a peer-reviewed paper concluding that rises in sea levels are “decelerating”.
Based on the century-long tide gauge records at Fort Denison as well as; Fremantle, Western Australia (from 1897 to present), Auckland Harbour in New Zealand (1903 to present), and Pilot Station at Newcastle (1925 to present), the analysis finds there was a “consistent trend of weak deceleration” from 1940 to 2000.
Climate change researcher Howard Brady, at Macquarie University, said the recent research meant sea levels rises accepted by the CSIRO were “already dead in the water as having no sound basis in probability”.
“In all cases, it is clear that sea-level rise, although occurring, has been decelerating for at least the last half of the 20th century, and so the present trend would only produce sea level rise of around 15cm for the 21st century.”
Dr Brady said the divergence between the sea-level trends from (computer) models and sea-level trends from the tide gauge records was now so great “it is clear there is a serious problem with the models”.
“A COLOSSAL SCARE STORY”
But if there is one scientist who knows more about sea levels than anyone else in the world it is the Swedish geologist and physicist Nils-Axel Mörner, formerly chairman of the INQUA International Commission on Sea Level Change.
Dr Mörner, who for 35 years has been using every known scientific method to study sea levels all over the globe, is that all this talk about the sea rising is nothing but “a colossal scare story.”
Despite fluctuations down as well as up, “the sea is not rising,” he says. “It hasn’t risen in 50 years.” If there is any rise this century it will “not be more than 10cm (four inches), with an uncertainty of plus or minus 10cm”.
And quite apart from examining the hard evidence, he says, the elementary laws of physics (latent heat needed to melt ice) tell us that the apocalypse conjured up by Al Gore and Co “could not possibly come about”.
Oxford university students told to use ‘ze’ instead or ‘he’ or ‘she’ | 11 Dec 2016 | Students at Oxford university have been told to refer to each other using gender neutral pronouns like ‘ze’ to stop transgender undergraduates from being offended. The students’ union said in a leaflet that the move was intended to reduce the risk of offending transgender students, the Sunday Times reported.
The Greens and Labor have come together to produce a report to have coal electricity banned.
I had something to say about this!!! .. watch the video which may take a few seconds to load.
