White House Seeks Crackdown on U.S.-Listed Chinese Firms
–The Wall Street Journal
“Chinese companies with shares traded on U.S. stock exchanges would be forced to give up their listings unless they comply with U.S. audit requirements under a plan recommended Thursday by the Trump administration,” Dave Michaels writes. “It is the latest step in the administration’s policy of getting tough with China.”
U.S. Economy Adds 1.8 Million Jobs in July, Unemployment Rate Falls to 10.2%
“The U.S. economy added 1.8 million jobs in July and the unemployment rate fell to 10.2 percent, providing reassurance that the labor market has kept up some of its post-lockdown momentum . . . The economy has added around 9.1 million jobs in the past three months,” beating economist predictions three months in a row, John Carney reports.
Trump Signs Executive Order to Boost U.S. Drug Manufacturing
“President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order aimed at boosting U.S. production of medicines and medical equipment, lowering drug prices and protecting the United States against shortfalls in a future pandemic,” Jeff Mason and Andrea Shalal write. “‘We cannot rely on China and other nations across the globe, that could one day deny us products in a time of need,’ Trump said. ‘We have to be smart.’”

Abolish the Police? Those Who Survived the Chaos in Seattle Aren’t So Sure

“The employees of Bergman’s Lock and Key say they were followed by demonstrators with baseball bats. Cure Cocktail, a local bar and charcuterie, said its workers were asked by protesters to pledge loyalty to the movement . . . The experience of the small-business owners seems a universe away from the rhetoric of Seattle’s politicians,” Nellie Bowles writes.

Federal law enforcement in Portland has arrested 74 people and charged 60 of them with federal crimes for actions they allegedly took against federal police and facilities in the Oregon city, according to the Justice Department.
DOJ spokeswoman Kerri Kupec announced Monday afternoon that U.S. attorneys have also arrested 236 people and charged 238 nationwide in cases related to “violent opportunists” and “civil unrest.”
Riots in Portland began 60 days ago, with peaceful protests simultaneously taking place each night. When Federal Protective Service officers from the Department of Homeland Security were unable to protect a federal courthouse from attackers who were using commercial fireworks and other objects, the Trump administration sent in tactical agents, including Customs and Border Protection’s Border Patrol Tactical Unit and Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Special Response Team. DOJ’s Marshals Service also directed employees to guard the federal facility, which law mandates that DHS protect.

A DHS spokesperson wrote in a Monday Twitter post that the DHS had found or been attacked with Molotov cocktails, sledgehammers, pipe bombs, mortar fireworks, and metal spikes over the weekend.
The FBI has launched a formal investigation into the violent attacks on federal law enforcement and federal buildings in Portland, two senior administration officials told the Washington Examiner last week. Democratic lawmakers, including Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler and Oregon Gov. Kate Brown, have criticized DHS and DOJ for overstepping their authority by taking over a portion of downtown Portland without consent.

Report from America:
Ever wonder why half the “covid cases” in the entire world are in the area between Philly and New York?
Ever wonder why there are only 8 “covid deaths” in Hong Kong (which is about 600 miles from Wuhan) but “100,000 covid deaths” in America?
I’ll answer for you: its because Hong Kong didn’t participate in this HOAX whereas states like New York and New Jersey went all in with the lies and hysteria.
The preceding comment quote ought to throw even more light on the fact that the USA has supposedly suffered far more COVID-19 infections and deaths than any other country in the world. How did the U.S. register considerably more COVID casualties than China, India, Russia and all of Africa?
Really, how did that happen except by highly purposeful design?
How did the world’s premier healthcare system, with so much advanced medical technology, pervasive knowhow and professional experience with epidemics, succumb to such a pandemic … … … unless it was meticulously planned that way?! Which is why #Plandemic is one of the most popular hashtags on Twitter these days. Or, at least it is, until Jack Dorsey decides to censor it into the Twitter circular cyber-file.
This ‘Second Wave’ really is a “Second International Crime Wave”. What crimes? How about the intentional inflation of COVID-19 infection rates whereby “a 100 percent positivity rate” has been falsely reported to scare Floridians into compliance with unlawful executive orders and harmful governmental dictates. See: Here’s how Florida is grossly inflating the COVID-19 infection rates.
That the perpetrators have been able to conduct this worldwide criminal conspiracy with relative ease is as inconceivable as it is outrageous. Not only does this ever-worsening coronavirus predicament reflect the ironclad control exerted by globalists strategically positioned in every government and corporation, it demonstrates how utterly shameless and without conscience they truly are.
Today, entire nations, states, provinces, counties and cities have seen mandates to wear a dangerous mask during the hot summer months. This outright assault on personal sovereignty and exceedingly dangerous practice must be halted post-haste; otherwise, many more folks will needlessly die from heat stroke or heat exhaustion, which will then be blamed on COVID-19. See: It’s time for MASS CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE!
CAVEAT: This was their scheme all along: attribute any and all deaths that occur on the novel coronavirus. Suicides by poisoning, fatal car accidents and deadly gunshot wounds are all classified as COVID-19 whenever they can get away with it. Likewise, anaphylactic shock, COPD flare-ups, asthma attacks and allergy episodes are all coronavirus-caused when they lead to death. Of course, Pneumonia, Tuberculosis, Emphysema, Bronchitis, Lung Cancer, Cystic Fibrosis, Pleurisy and other fatal respiratory diseases are also blamed on COVID-19 when hospitals are unscrupulously reimbursed like this:
“The Medicare reimbursement is $13,000 for Covid-19 admissions to the Hospital; and if those Covid-19 patients receive ventilator treatment, the reimbursement is $39,000.”
(Source: Here’s why COVID-19 deaths are being grossly inflated across America!)
Surely, everyone by now sees how THE GREAT SCAMDEMIC is being coordinated, orchestrated and choreographed by some “Wizard of Oz” behind the curtain. However, that does not mean there is not a very real COVID-19 bioweapon that was intentionally bioengineered and stealthily disseminated to produce a global pandemic of Coronavirus Syndrome. Australian government and industry should readjust their job qualification to meritorious appointments to ease record unemployment
from the White House
On Friday, President Trump signed an executive order directing federal agencies to fill job vacancies based on merit, rather than require a minimum level of education for candidates seeking open positions. The order rightly recognizes that a job candidate with several years of relevant experience may be just as qualified, if not more so, than one who has collected a stack of advanced degrees.
“Employers adopting skills- and competency-based hiring recognize that an overreliance on college degrees excludes capable candidates and undermines labor-market efficiencies,” the order reads. “Currently, for most Federal jobs, traditional education — high school, college, or graduate-level — rather than experiential learning is either an absolute requirement or the only path to consideration for candidates without many years of experience.”
The order still allows federal agencies to prescribe minimum educational requirements for job candidates if the degree is legally required by the state or local government where the federal employee will be working. Additionally, they may consider a candidate’s education if the degree “directly reflects the competencies necessary” to do the job.
In other cases, agencies must fill job openings based on the “specific skills and competencies” that the positions require. An agency seeking a computer programmer will not be allowed to turn away a candidate with several years of relevant programming experience simply because he hasn’t had the time or money to go back to school for a master’s degree.
Instead, federal agencies will develop assessment practices to determine a candidate’s skills and qualifications for the job. These may take the form of formal skills tests or some other means of assessment, but cannot rely only on job candidates’ self-evaluations of their skills. Changes to job classification and qualification standards will take effect within 180 days.
The administration’s move strikes a blow against credential inflation, the phenomenon of increasing education requirements for job openings even though the skills required to do those jobs have not meaningfully changed. A 2017 Harvard Business School report found that postings for dozens of common jobs now typically request bachelor’s degrees, even though a majority of people currently working in those jobs do not have a college education. Examples of jobs that have suffered from credential inflation include lower-level managers, secretaries and administrative assistants, and child care workers.
Credential inflation shuts out experienced, qualified job candidates who are perfectly capable of filling certain roles simply because they lack the right piece of paper. It also deprives employers of a pool of talent. Most perniciously, it convinces young jobseekers that they need a bachelor’s degree or even a graduate degree to succeed in the labor market, forcing them to spend tens of thousands of dollars and years of their lives pursuing unnecessary credentials.
The federal government has been among the worst drivers of credential inflation. Nearly 30% of federal workers now have a master’s degree, up from just 15% a quarter century ago. Though degree requirements for private sector jobs have also increased, credential inflation in the federal civil service has been especially pronounced. As the nation’s largest single employer, it’s fitting for the federal government to lead the way in questioning whether such intensive education requirements are necessary.
People with lower levels of education have been hit hardest by the current recession. Unemployment rates for those without college degrees have soared into the double digits. Historically, credential inflation has accelerated during recessions as employers take advantage of the weak labor market to ratchet up degree requirements on open job postings. This makes it even harder for people without college degrees to find well-paying jobs.
It doesn’t have to be that way again. Governments and private employers alike should recognize that unnecessary degree requirements are not just unfair to qualified workers without sheepskins, but also a self-inflicted handicap on their own ability to find great employees in the broadest talent pool possible. The administration’s executive order is an important first step toward reversing credential inflation in the federal civil service and in the broader labor market. Hopefully other employers will follow.
Real News from the White House in Washington: not jaundiced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation
President Trump is in Arizona today, where he just visited the border to celebrate more than 200 miles of new border wall completed.
“We’re on pace to complete 450 miles by the end of the year, and 500 miles almost immediately thereafter,” the President said at a roundtable in Yuma.
“Illegal immigration is down 84 percent from this time last year. Illegal crossings from Central America are down 97 percent,” he added. Nearly 450,000 pounds of drugs have been seized this year alone.
As of today, U.S. Customs and Border Protection has built approximately 216 miles of new wall system. Six miles have gone up in just the past week. Construction is underway now for 339 additional miles in high-priority locations along the southern border.
“My administration has done more than any administration in history to secure our southern border,” President Trump said today.
Border security is national security, the President says. Criminal organizations, including drug traffickers and human smugglers, have long exploited America’s porous southern border to put the lives of both U.S. citizens and law-abiding immigrants at risk.
Tragically, children are often the biggest victims. Vicious, transnational gangs such as MS-13 pray on minors and commit heinous attacks in communities across America.
Under President Trump, the rule of law is being restored, legal immigration is being protected, and American neighborhoods are being kept safe from drugs and violence
In case you missed it: President Trump takes action to protect U.S. workers
from the White House
President Trump was right and justified Thursday to sign an executive order calling for new regulations to strip legal liability protections from social media companies that censor posts and engage in political conduct on their sites.
I hope the president never has to take action against any social media company. The solution to the very real problem of social media company discrimination – which most often is directed against conservative views – is to end the discrimination, rather than for the government to intervene.
However, President Trump and many conservatives have identified a serious problem. Twitter and some other social media companies want to be two things at the same time: common carriers where anyone can post comments, and news organizations that selectively fact-check some posts and determine which ones are accurate and which ones are not. Making such determinations is an editorial decision that is often very subjective.
Right now social media companies enjoy protection from liability under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act for what is posted on their sites, because in most cases they allow people to post whatever they wish – as if they were posting on a giant virtual bulletin board.
In contrast, news organizations can be sued for libel if they publish false information with “’actual malice’ – that is, with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not,” according to a 1964 Supreme Court decision in the case New York Times Co. v. Sullivan.

- Rep. Rodney Davis: Twitter tries to censor Trump with ‘fact check’ but gets its facts wrong on voter fraud
- Texas AG Ken Paxton: Trump is right and Twitter ‘fact check’ is wrong – mail-in ballot fraud is a real problem
On average more than 500 million tweets are posted each day. You can see the enormous number tweeted on the day you read this here. It would be impossible for Twitter to review each of these tweets and fact-check them all before posting. Other social media companies face a similar impossible task.
However, Twitter has selectively targeted conservatives – most recently President Trump this week – and has either taken down their tweets or labeled them as misleading and added a fact check, as was the case with two of the president’s tweets dealing with problems with mail-in voting.
Ironically, the president’s tweets saying voter fraud can take place with mail-in voting were accurate. Twitter’s fact check claiming that the president’s tweets were factually inaccurate was itself inaccurate.
What is crucial here is that by deciding to selectively review a tiny number of tweets on its site and running supposed fact checks on them, Twitter is exercising editorial judgment and deciding what people are told is true.
Even Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, told Fox News’ Dana Perino that social media companies should not act as the “arbiter of truth.”
President Trump’s executive order states that social media companies that remove or restrict content should be exposed to liability “like any traditional editor and publisher that is not an online provider.”

Let’s call it what it is, folks? This whole virus hoax is a Simulated War Exercise, being foisted off on us, on purpose. US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo admitted it, said it was a “live exercise” within days of it starting. Why can’t we start thinking and acting accordingly?
Our government hasn’t declared any emergency. We haven’t gone to war with the Common Cold. That’s all their shenanigans. Not ours. We have continued to function as normal, despite the inconveniences that they and their Patsies have caused.
This is a play. It’s a deliberate make-believe “war scenario” being played out as a practice exercise in real time. This allows Mr. Trump to access “emergency” Defense Funding. This allows Mr. Trump to call up a million Reservists, which he may need to patrol America’s streets once the Municipal bankruptcy is finished — because suddenly, all those LEO positions that have been funded by Municipal corporations will be defunded.
All the government employees are required to pretend that this is real as part of their jobs, so they do. Corporations that hold their charters from this government are also “encouraged” to pretend that its real, or face unspecified punishments.
Pretty soon, all the clueless Innocents get caught up in the play and start assuming it’s real, put on their face masks like good little sheep, and stand around looking confused and scared.
All that is real about it, is what has always been real about it — people catch the flu, a certain percentage of them go into pneumonia, and of those, some of them die. 80,000 people died in the 2017-2018 winter flu season. About 65,000 have died in the 2019-2020 flu season.
These kinds of losses have been happening every year that the statistics of death due to “Common Cold” virus have been tracked— that is, for longer than I’ve been alive, and that’s a long time. Every year. Nobody noticed until now? Probably because your likelihood of dying in a car crash is about three times more likely than dying from any form of Corona Virus.
We don’t stop driving and hunker down, do we?
No, folks, this is a form of hoax, just like so much of what this government is famous for. More lies, more smoke, more mirrors.
They get emergency defense funding. They get to smokescreen over the fact that Washington, DC is vacated for 90 days. They get to prepare for the loss of Municipal funding nationwide. They get to put a lot of corporations out of business, so that they can buy their assets for pennies on the dollar. Hey, from their perspective, this is better than The Great Depression.
George Soros, Bill Gates, and Dr. Fauci got wind of what was in the works and made plans to benefit themselves financially and politically. What else is new?
Soros funded the lab in Wuhan where all this blew up more than two years prior to the event. Bill Gates started buying nine vaccine manufacturing facilities devoted to coronavirus vaccine production two years prior to all this. Fauci started negotiating with Bill Gates more than two years prior and got a deal worth $100 million to peddle Gate’s vaccine.
Do I have to paint you all a picture?
Meantime, Fauci, Mr. Big at the National Institutes of Health, had known since 2005 that the anti-malarial drug, Choloroquine, was effective against all SARS viruses including the Coronavirus. Read that: no need for vaccinations at all.
