Toyota has been clear about the fact that it does not believe in an all-electric future. While the Japanese company is set to release some exciting EVs next year, it is still exploring other means or energy.
And now, Chinese state-owned manufacturer GAC Group, which is half owned by Toyota Motor Corporation, has developed the world’s first ammonia-powered engine for passenger vehicles.
Join us as we take a look at Toyota’s new Ammonia Engine and how it can spell the end for EVs.
Any idea based on or relying upon the vilification of carbon dioxide is not to be trusted.
What do we do when CO2 levels drop to critical? At around 200ppm or less, plants die and Earth turns into a moonscape. We are much closer to that scenario than the opposite.
Alan Vaughn said – “Don’t believe everything you see on TV or read in ‘Popular Mechanics’ magazines, because most, if not all of it is the stuff of someone’s fantasy or pipedreams, not reality.”
Not all of it.
The downside is that what DOES work will never see the light of day – precisely because those innovations cut costs for US, and therefore profits for THEM.
One item I recall from decades back was a practical Stirling Cycle engine comparable in power and performance to the internal combustion engine. Also comparable manufacturing cost if scaled up to mass production.
Being Stirling Cycle, it would run on ANY combustible fuel. So it was killed.
Another item that was PROVEN practicable was the wood-gas engine – actually just a regular internal combustion engine tuned to run on Carbon Monoxide supplied by an oxygen-deprived wood burner. Because Carbon Monoxide is highly flammable (who knew?) with the end product being Carbon Dioxide.
Then there was Tesla’s all-electric car running off a gizmo in the glove box. Etcetera.
So many energy solutions, not limited to just the automotive field, all buried and denied to us because our entire frigging planet has been captured by Luciferian corporations who literally call the shots and view us as nothing more than their obligate collective revenue cows. And we have no say whatsoever in any of it.

Not sure why such cool and innovate research has to be met with paranoid response comments so reactionary/politically charged.. gets really old…
It’s not ‘paranoid response’ and I’ll tell you why, but you won’t like it.
We’ve been hearing about ‘such cool and innovative’ research’ for longer than I can remember (and I am not young), yet we never see any such research evolve into anything commercially viable, or ever come to fruition:
Never see these ‘amazing’ innovations / inventions used in the real world.
Rather like the elusive cure for cancer which the media assures us is ‘just around the corner’. Also been hearing about that much longer than I can remember, but never see or hear anything more about it, despite the astronomical $billions, supposedly invested in that area of ‘cool and innovative research’.
The late QLD Premier: Sir Joh Bjelke Petersen was bragging in the 1980s how he and his government’s scientists and/or engineers had developed a car that runs on 100% water – no fossil fuel required. It was a practical joke which he was suckered in by and which made him look very foolish.
I have a friend who wasted all of his income, over about 30 years on trying to improve the fuel economy of various makes and models of cars with the deployment of (farcical) ‘water injection’ technology.
All of his trials and experiments with this alleged ‘secret technology’ ended up irreversibly destroying the engines of all of the cars he’d bought, before he finally realized and concurred that he’d been had. IOW, he believed the hype, albeit had never seen with his own eyes, even one practical example of a car powered by petrol and supplemented by water injection, which he bragged would massively reduce his petrol costs.
These supposedly innovative or very clever ideas are invariably nothing more than that: ‘ideas’, or in some instances: just practical jokes, waiting to make anyone gullible enough to believe they are real solutions to real problems, look foolish.
It doesn’t mean such ideas are feasible or practical.
Moral of the story:
Don’t believe everything you see on TV or read in ‘Popular Mechanics’
magazines, because most, if not all of it is the stuff of someone’s fantasy or pipedreams, not reality. Thus, total baloney.
Yeah, as you said: gets really old 🤦♂️

Just wait a short time and one of psychopaths will come up with some ridiculous reason why venting nitrogen into the atmosphere will be the downfall of humanity.
For sure. They must reject and even totally ban anything that works and will benefit us in any small way. To maintain complete control over us, they need to keep us oppressed in a dystopian, ‘clean green’ energy-devoid preindustrial era world, where we have no freedom and rights but a world where we must depend on them (‘the psychopaths’) for everything we do in our enslaved and hopeless lives. They also hope that most of us won’t survive in it.
Great piece on ammonia. Thanks for the contribution. Not sure why such cool and innovate research has to be met with paranoid response comments so reactionary/politically charged.. gets really old…
Just wait a short time and one of psychopaths will come up with some ridiculous reason why venting nitrogen into the atmosphere will be the downfall of humanity.
Then amonia will become scarce and too expensive to purchase! What about water, Toyota? As a large corporation, it will be difficult for murders to occur as in the past. Come on! You guys can do it!
Green energy, Profitism and new slaves replacing the weary soon to be in$olvent old western stock through genocided healthcare and political correct patriotism that has become herded multiculturalism flushing many $hekels into the broken coffers of the Australian economy.
As “Australia” is soon shutting down all “killers of the environment” to fight global warning and to create a new $cientific Nature in a cleansed new world by replacing the highly “toxic” cooking gas produced on “Australia’s own shores” it will become the profitable future of global money spinning in Africa of course.
“LPG will become a bestseller in Africa in the long term, since it is essential for preserving forests and improving the quality of life for the people of Africa. These tasks will entail investments in the construction of necessary infrastructure. However, the process also works the other way around – the success of LPG in local markets is determined by the infrastructure needed for its storage and distribution, and LPG markets in African countries can grow considerably as a result of such investments.”
“By 2050, Africa’s population is expected to double – totaling a quarter of the world’s population. Cities will account for more than 80% of the increase – and most of these people will inhabit crowded slums”.

Embrace the future Aussies! Many of us wont be part of it! A bit like the ammonia powered Toyota.
They could also go H2O but no money in that.
No, I do not believe in the climate change hoax, we live in and are primarily affected by the exhaust system cycles of our Sun and our Earth’s orbit cycles around it… however, I still wonder if all of the additional heat that human activity generates each day gets shed into the black hole of space each night?
Graeme Palmer – mate…… Please tell me you don’t believe in the Climate Change HOAX. If you do then note to all the readers on this page, you can ignore everything that this man says.
Even if this new ammonia powered engine was viable it won’t make any difference to the cabal. They don’t want and will outright reject anything that will improve our standard of living.
You have to understand why they only promote and eventually will only allow EV’s as an alternative for conventional internal combustion engine (‘fossil fuel’) powered vehicles…
This may sound absurd to some but it’s true. Thank about it.
They are promoting EV’s because they know they don’t work: Know they are not an efficient, safe or even practical / viable option for motorized transport.
They want us totally impoverished and to have no private transport, other than perhaps push-bikes (have you noticed all the cycle tracks appearing in your towns and cities lately)?
They use CO2 ‘pollution’ and the nonexistent ‘Climate Crisis’ as the ridiculous and utterly bogus ‘reason’ we must ban all fossil fuel use, i.e. Net Zero by 2050 etc..
The UN’s humanity loathing 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda of course has nothing whatsoever to do with their invented ’emergencies’. The real agenda, which by now should be obvious even to the most obedient, moronic TV programmed drone, is to impoverish and totally control every aspect of our lives, destroy our industrialized societies and enslave us all while we’re confined within their dystopian, digitally surveilled ‘SMART Cities’.
We won’t need cars anyway, whether EV’s or normal Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) powered.
Another example: If they were actually concerned about emissions from coal or gas fired power stations, they would be rushing through the construction and implementation of nuclear power. But NO! Can’t have that – abundant energy would enhance industry and improve our way of life! They want to destroy us, not help us to live better and give us more freedom.
Is there no end to the absurd borlsyit that these galahs can come up with? On one hand we’re being told that we mustn’t use (say natural gas) to synthesise ammonia as a useful ingredient in fertilisers to promote the growth of food crops (nitrogen “pollution”) but it’s supposed to be a great leap forward in a very inefficient fuel for internal combustion engines that haven’t even been developed yet.
Remember the hydrogen powered Toyota engine? Don’t hang by your toes waiting.
This Toyota presentation is all about clean exhaust gasses. What about the anthropogenic waste heat that will still be emitted by ammonia fueled internal combustion engines? When will someone report scientifically on the elephant in the room being the overall anthropogenic waste heat effect on climate change – for example all the steam powered thermal power stations in the world all continuously dump around 60% of the heat (refer to thermodynamics carnot/rankine cycle theory) created by their energy source (coal, nuclear, solar) as low grade waste heat into the environment – heating up our rivers, oceans, atmosphere – maybe carbon pollution is not the real problem to be avoided? Solar photovoltaics, wind, hydro and hydrogen fuel cell generated power creates much less anthropogenic waste heat than internal combustion or thermal steam power generation…
