The Australian Freedom Rally organisers apparently had a rally in Melbourne and Cairns on Saturday. Naturally it received little MSM publicity. The organisers of these rallies have proven they have little understanding of Australian media and because of this they do not do themselves and anyone who attends rallies any justice.
They continue to use the most freedom-hostile medium on Earth, Zuckerberg’s Facebook to publicise their activities.
Rarely if ever do they send their rally notices or post-rally photos to Cairns News or other similar independent sites. It is only with the help of smart readers who forward notices that we are able to publish.
It’s a bit like Reignite Democracy which uses Telegram exclusively. Cairns News could probably count on one hand the number of its readers who subscribe to or read Telegram.
Trying to navigate Falsebook and the hotchpotch of Telegram is largely a waste of time. Independent internet news sites are monitored by most politicians. There are many .gov.au subscribers to Cairns News.
While these various freedom groups remain so disjointed, demanding ‘it’s my way or the highway’, is it any wonder elections, meetings, rallies and demonstrations are fruitless?
The party duopoly will be laughing their guts out wallowing in their subsidised water holes.
If you are still using ‘BIG TECH’ platforms like Google, Facebook/Meta, or software like Apple MacOS, Microsoft Windows, the time is now to GET OUT.
Stop using software made by people who hate you.
Stop giving them your data.
They are making an all-out power grab while trying to impose tyranny, and they need your DATA to do it.
These sometimes unpopular messages need to be said. Our channel has been promoting technology alternatives for months.
Why is our messaging sometimes unpopular? Because it leads people to an outcome that requires time, and EFFORT to LEARN NEW THINGS, when we are already so pressured in the first place. It’s much easier to rationalize away the urgency, and “DO NOTHING.”
Don’t wait until it’s too late. In a quickly changing world, your data and personal information is precious. Our Freedom is NON-NEGOTIABLE.
We told you here first If you have an Amazon Alexa, it’s listening to you all the time, and the things you say are being sold to at least 41 “partners.”
Heck, if they’re selling the text of everything you’re talking, 41 times, why not 100. Why not 1,000? They probably are …
If you have an old OS you might want to check it out FrogFind.com. It’s a search enginey tool that lets old operating systems use the web.

The Aboriginal man who was wrongly accused by 7NEWS as the abductor of 4-year-old Cleo Smith has started defamation proceedings.
On Tuesday, Terrance Flowers filed a statement of claim in the Western Australia Supreme Court against Channel Seven.
Flowers, also known as Terrance Kelly, was falsely accused by 7NEWS on November 3. The network posted to Facebook, Twitter, the Seven website and on television.
In a statement O’Brien Criminal and Civil Solicitors, who are representing Flowers, said Flowers had “nothing to do with it and was never a suspect in the case”.
“Mr Flowers recently became a father and like everyone else throughout Australia, and particularly being a parent himself, he was hoping for Cleo’s safe return,” they said.
“Being identified as responsible for her abduction and disappearance was extremely distressing to him and his family.
“It is of great concern to Mr. Flowers and his family that a major media company would proceed with a story of this magnitude without being absolutely certain as to its accuracy.”
The law firm said the effect of the “substantial error” has been “devastating”
“The publications by the Seven Network led to Mr. Flowers being made the subject of hate around the nation and the world and resulted in him being hospitalised with a severe panic attack,” they said.
The matter is now before the WA Supreme Court.
O’Brien Criminal and Civil Solicitors has asked that Flowers and his family’s privacy is respected throughout the court process.
If you want to get zapped by the arch-criminal Mark Zuckerberg tell the truth about Covid on Facebook
The conservative website LifeSiteNews has been removed from Facebook, with Zuckerberg, 37, accusing the group of violating policies regarding COVID-19.
LifeSiteNews, an often faith-themed website that Snopes.com (allegedly controlled by social media companies and Bill Gates) describes as “a known purveyor of misleading information,” announced the Facebook ban on its own website Tuesday (May 4).
“Facebook has just permanently banned LifeSiteNews’ Facebook page,” the announcement read. “This apparently is not a temporary measure: It is gone for good.”
The announcement quoted LifeSiteNews marketing director Rebekah Roberts, who framed Facebook’s decision as “another case of Big Tech silencing free speech on their platform.”
A Facebook spokesman confirmed the removal of LifeSiteNews’ page to Religion News Service on Wednesday, saying, “we have removed this page for repeatedly violating our COVID-19 policies.”
According to LifeSiteNews, Facebook told the site’s marketing officials their Facebook page was taken down in accordance with the company’s policy of removing accounts that distribute “vaccine discouraging information on the platform.” It also allegedly accused the site of publishing “false information about COVID-19 that could contribute to physical harm.”
From its website LifeSite says:
LifeSiteNews.com is a non-profit Internet service dedicated to issues of culture, life, and family. It was launched in September 1997. LifeSiteNews Daily News reports and information pages are used by numerous organizations and publications, educators, professionals and political, religious and life and family organization leaders and grassroots people across North America and internationally.
LifeSiteNews.com Daily News reports are widely circulated reports on important developments in the United States, Canada and around the world. Their purpose is to provide balance and more accurate coverage on culture, life and family matters than is usually given by other media. Available by free daily email subscription and on LifeSiteNews.com.
Independent Member for Hughes, Craig Kelly plans to introduce a Bill in the Australian Federal Parliament to crack down on the market power of the foreign controlled social-media giants and their unilateral censorship of political speech.
Overnight the Florida Senate in the USA passed such a Bill and this gives the Australian Parliament a template to adopt here.
The Florida bill, in part, bars social-media companies from removing political candidates from the companies’ platforms. Companies that violate the prohibition could face fines of up to $100,000 a day.
Member for Hughes Craig Kelly said;
“The ever increasing market power of the foreign controlled social-media giants and their ability to censor political speech is an immediate and direct threat to our democracy.”
“We have seen in Australia Facebook acting as a bully, and self-appointed censor, that believes they are above the law and are the arbiters of truth.”
“Governor De Santis of Florida has acted to hold these social-media giants to account. Australia needs to do the same.
‘I look forward to at least one other member of the Australian House of Representatives being prepared to stand up and be a ‘seconder’ for this Bill, which will enabling me to introduce it on the floor of Parliament in the next session.
Member for Kennedy, Bob Katter says Facebook’s ‘dummy-spit’ over proposed Federal Government laws that would make them pay for news, is a golden opportunity for the Australian Government to build its own social media platform.
Mr Katter admits it may take time for Australians to migrate to a new platform but it would have ongoing benefits for democracy and sovereignty.
“This is an opportunity to build something by creating an Australia social media platform, like Facebook, and we should not be held to ransom by a jumped-up, super-rich, American know-all,” he said.
“In Queensland we built and owned the railways, the electricity network and we built the coal industry, the aluminium industry and the tourism industry.
“I’ve been here in federal parliament almost 30 years and as far as I can tell we’ve built nothing. But we have sold off all the things that the great governments before us built.”
Mr Katter is a supporter of making the tech giants pay for news as most of the newspapers in the Kennedy Electorate have closed in the last decade.
“Without a news service, without a local media, the town ceases to exist,” he said.
“Democracy can’t operate without a free flow of information, that’s what Theophanous v Herald and Weekly Times held. Well, this week we’ve learned China is holding a lot of our defence information and secrets, as well as Australian Tax and company files, and that an American company can turn off the tap on Australian news.
“I say the American tech-giants should leave town immediately. We’ll run our own affairs thank you. An Australian-owned social media would restore the power of the Australian media.
“The government-run social media would have to be run by an independent board and have a charter.”

Project Veritas has released a video of Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg taken during a company virtual meeting last July, in which he made statements that would cause Facebook’s censorship algorithms to kick him off the platform, under their new rules.
Last week, Facebook announced that they are “expanding [their] efforts to remove false claims on Facebook and Instagram about COVID-19, COVID-19 vaccines and vaccines in general during the pandemic,” and they also said they would remove claims that vaccines change people’s DNA.
Although Facebook claims that it wants people to “discuss, debate and share their personal experiences, opinions and views,” as these pertain to the pandemic, it will now remove posts expressing concerns about the vaccine, even though these same concerns were expressed by their own CEO.
The verbatim quote made on video by Zuckerberg was, “I do just want to make sure that I share some caution on this, because we just don’t know the long term side effects of basically modifying people’s DNA and RNA to um, to directly encode in a person’s DNA and RNA – basically, the ability to um, to, to produce those antibodies and whether that causes other mutations or other risks down, downstream. So, there’s work on both paths of vaccine development.”
Again, Zuckerberg would be banned from Facebook for saying this and anyone uploading the video to the platform risks being flagged by Facebook’s censorship AI and banned.
This Great Reset censorship has achieved peak insanity. James O’Keefe asks, isn’t it interesting that Zuckerberg can go “as far as to caution his own staff but as soon as he’s made up his mind or appears to have made up his mind on the topic, he disallows the almost 3 billion Facebook users to do the same?
“Rules for thee but not for me! The irony is, under their own community standards, they say they want people to quote, ‘discuss, debate and share their personal experiences, opinions and views as it pertains to the pandemic,’ but how do you quote, ‘discuss or debate’ something if you can’t even share opposing views or even facts – or even Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s own statements?…
“What happened to free speech? And who is on this Facebook Oversight Board who makes all their policy decisions?…Why do they determine what we can or can’t say as it pertains to our health?
“We would know none of this but not for the fact that we have a brave Facebook insider that continues to leak and transmit videotape of Facebook executives to Project Veritas. It’s not that the insider is betraying Mark Zuckerberg, it’s that Mark Zuckerberg is betraying what Facebook ought to stand for.”

President Trump was right and justified Thursday to sign an executive order calling for new regulations to strip legal liability protections from social media companies that censor posts and engage in political conduct on their sites.
I hope the president never has to take action against any social media company. The solution to the very real problem of social media company discrimination – which most often is directed against conservative views – is to end the discrimination, rather than for the government to intervene.
However, President Trump and many conservatives have identified a serious problem. Twitter and some other social media companies want to be two things at the same time: common carriers where anyone can post comments, and news organizations that selectively fact-check some posts and determine which ones are accurate and which ones are not. Making such determinations is an editorial decision that is often very subjective.
Right now social media companies enjoy protection from liability under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act for what is posted on their sites, because in most cases they allow people to post whatever they wish – as if they were posting on a giant virtual bulletin board.
In contrast, news organizations can be sued for libel if they publish false information with “’actual malice’ – that is, with knowledge that it was false or with reckless disregard of whether it was false or not,” according to a 1964 Supreme Court decision in the case New York Times Co. v. Sullivan.

- Rep. Rodney Davis: Twitter tries to censor Trump with ‘fact check’ but gets its facts wrong on voter fraud
- Texas AG Ken Paxton: Trump is right and Twitter ‘fact check’ is wrong – mail-in ballot fraud is a real problem
On average more than 500 million tweets are posted each day. You can see the enormous number tweeted on the day you read this here. It would be impossible for Twitter to review each of these tweets and fact-check them all before posting. Other social media companies face a similar impossible task.
However, Twitter has selectively targeted conservatives – most recently President Trump this week – and has either taken down their tweets or labeled them as misleading and added a fact check, as was the case with two of the president’s tweets dealing with problems with mail-in voting.
Ironically, the president’s tweets saying voter fraud can take place with mail-in voting were accurate. Twitter’s fact check claiming that the president’s tweets were factually inaccurate was itself inaccurate.
What is crucial here is that by deciding to selectively review a tiny number of tweets on its site and running supposed fact checks on them, Twitter is exercising editorial judgment and deciding what people are told is true.
Even Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, told Fox News’ Dana Perino that social media companies should not act as the “arbiter of truth.”
President Trump’s executive order states that social media companies that remove or restrict content should be exposed to liability “like any traditional editor and publisher that is not an online provider.”
Our American correspondent Alex Bruce again has been de-platformed by tech company censorship. She hopes to back on the air soon.
Alex informed us this morning: “I was de-platformed by the mass email service provider on Tuesday because of this video and article about 9/11 (which they stopped from going out), saying it “violated” their Terms of Service.

This story is getting very little coverage in the legacy media for obvious reasons. Just like California, Oregon has gone full authoritarian in trying to force its fake science “climate change” agenda on everyone. Over the last few days, Oregon’s Gov. Kate Brown has ordered the gunpoint rounding up of Republican lawmakers by police in order to force a vote on a climate change “cap and trade” scheme (HB 2020) that only enriches corrupt Democrat insiders.
As BigLeaguePolitics.com reports, the Oregon Three Percenters appear to be getting involved to protect the citizens of Oregon from the authoritarian tyranny of the corrupt Democrats(Australian equivalent is the ALP):
The Oregon Three Percenters, who participated in the armed takeover of a wildlife refuge in 2016, was one of many groups to support the Republican legislators’ defiance. Apparently this, along with support for the legislators by other right-wing groups, was unsettling to law enforcement. The State Capitol was closed Saturday “due to a possible militia threat,” according to a spokesman for Senate President Peter Courtney.
The real threat in Oregon, of course, is the tyrannical governor and her authoritarian Democrat jack-booted thugs (i.e. the Oregon State Police) who are now hunting down Republican lawmakers at gunpoint in order to shove their destructive law through the legislature. As The National Sentinel reports, “Raising the cost of production and doing business (cause) will have predictable effects: Loss of jobs, loss of revenue, higher prices, higher energy costs. And for some in Oregon — farmers, truck drivers, loggers — the law would decimate their industries. And worse, there is no real consensus that human activity is causing the climate to change. In fact, the Left’s predictions of doom and gloom are routinely debunked by reality. In particular, Republicans say that gas prices alone would rise 22 cents a gallon almost immediately, and much more over the long haul.”
