Listen to the voice of your Constitution

The Commonwealth Constitution of Australia has rarely been taught in Australian schools. Most adults are oblivious to its contents and meaning.

Consider why a government would want to change our Constitution by referendum to effect a racial division among Australians to enshrine a second voice for a small minority group?

About Editor, cairnsnews

One of the few patriots left who understands the system and how it has been totally subverted under every citizen's nose. If we can help to turn it around we will, otherwise our children will have nothing. Our investigations show there is no 'government' of the people for the people of Australia. The removal of the Crown from Australian Parliaments, followed by the incorporation of Parliaments aided by the Australia Act 1987 has left us with corporate government with policies not laws, that apply only to members of political parties and the public service. There is no law, other than the Common Law. This fact will be borne out in the near future as numerous legal challenges in place now, come to a head soon.

  6. HI Ed.
South Australia is already introducing bill to parliament for a voice, see here. According to the article no referendum is required for SA to legislate.

    From the article:

“As debate rages around the details of a federal Voice to parliament, SA Attorney-General and Indigenous Australians Minister Kyam Maher introduced the First Nations Voice Bill 2023 on Thursday morning.

The Bill is expected to pass with the support of the Greens, meaning it will likely be legislated by Easter – ahead of the federal Voice to Parliament.

“With the introduction of this Bill, we open the door to a historic change. We can become the first jurisdiction in the nation to legislate for a Voice to Parliament and Government for First Nations people – empowering them to shape decisions, instead of being subject to them,” the attorney general said.”

The video is good and historically relevant, but serving up a platter of Christianity and Constitution, to a voter base rapidly increasing in non Christian beliefs and non critical thought, seems self defeating.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics, 2021 census showed that of the 93% who answered the religion question, only 43% affiliated with Christianity.

To switch the majority onto the video’s massage, the 49% no religion, other religions and 7% religion not stated crowd, who are the combined majority in under 55 years olds, the constitutionally illiterate ages, would it be more pertinent, engaging then enlightening, if religion wasn’t mentioned?

If we stuff this referendum up, Albo will be having daily wet dreams of being El presidente número uno.

  11. The truth is, it’s a crap constitution.

Like all national constitutions, it neglects to include the word ‘democracy’, which says everything.

The best expert we ever had was Arthur Chresby, who was not only a constitutional expert, he was also an MHR and, apparently, one of the best. Arthur said it gives us the power to whinge to the Queen and there are no other rights for the people.

According to our most eminent constitutional law judge, Sir Harry Talbot Gibbs, none of this matters because our government has been unlawful since 1931. We are still a British colony, which sure does explain the MI6 role in the sacking of the 1975 government.

So, frankly, I don’t give a shit about our Constitution. Furthermore, all national constitutions were put together to protect the elite, not us. And, finally, let me point out that if you have a genuine democracy you don’t need a constitution because the people have total control of policy and implementation. That is real power and not bits of paper signed by bastards who don’t care about us in the first place.

As far as I am concerned there is people power or nothing.

  12. my son tried looking for the official record of referenda, and interestingly enough the 1988 , “republic” referendum, is not listed in the official records, as though it did not happen. Such is the magnitude of their fraud.
