China makes land grab in Western Australia
Following China’s security pact with the Solomon Islands, Chinese Government-owned companies were parties to a hearing in the Supreme Court of Western Australia designed to circumvent the Australia Foreign Investment Review Board, Mineralogy Chairman Clive Palmer said today.
Mr Palmer confirmed that Chinese Government companies were seeking control over hundreds of square kilometres of Western Australian land and had not sought approval from the FIRB as required by Australian law.
He said the Chinese Government was unlawfully seeking control of Australian land in the Pilbara region.
“By commencing actions in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Chinese Government companies were creating tension between the court and the FIRB,’’ Mr Palmer said.
“This is a tactic to divide and conquer our nation used frequently by the Communist-Government quest internationally.
“This is a serious attack on Australian sovereignty and the loyalty of Australian citizens assisting the Chinese Government-owned companies is a concern,’’ Mr Palmer said.
“In essence, they are trying to gain control of the Port of Cape Preston without first seeking approval of the FIRB. All Australians should be alarmed. I have serious concerns for Australia’s security.
“Mineralogy has not been able to gain access to its own tenements to inspect what the Chinese companies are actually doing at Cape Preston despite written agreements requiring such access.
“We received complaints from workers on site that there are secret activities going on. I believe the Minister of Defence must have the site inspected in the interests of the nation’s security,’’ Mr Palmer said.
“It is a matter of great concern that the Chinese Government companies are occupying a major Australian port and denying full access to Australian companies who own the right to the land where they are constructed,’’ Mr Palmer said.

It’s time we left China-controlled UNESCO: Bob Katter
KENNEDY MP, Bob Katter, has called on the Federal Government to cancel its membership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) which he says has become controlled by the dictatorial Chinese regime.
Mr Katter’s comments follows a push by a China-chaired UN committee to declare the Great Barrier Reef “in danger”.1
The Katter’s Australian Party (KAP) Federal MP says the move by UNESCO is not related to environmental concerns but a further bullying move by the Chinese regime.
“UNESCO has moved to classify one quarter of Australia’s oceans endangered, well how come only five years ago the leading world authority on nature, David Attenborough, said the reef was ‘the most magical place on earth’2,” Mr Katter said.
“Just last October myself and the other Members of the KAP (Nick Dametto, Robbie Katter and Shane Knuth) went diving on the Great Barrier Reef off Mission Beach, and I would describe it as magnificent.
“My office was on the phone just this morning with Daniel McCarthy one of the biggest tourism operators in Cairns; he’s been at Lizard Island for two months and he said the areas that were thought to be dead or destroyed two years ago are now thriving.”
Mr Katter said Australia had to stand up to the bully that is China, and fight this move to classify the Great Barrier Reef as endangered.
“China has come after our coal industry, they’ve halted trade on our beef, grain and wine; well we must say enough is enough,” he said.
“When are we going to stand up? China is still in control of the Darwin Port; they still have their tentacles in our universities with the Confucius Institutes and they’re still in control of our sensitive defence data through the China-owned Global Switch data centre in Sydney.
“The Federal Government has made the right noises, but I don’t see them acting.”

The USA is stunned that the control of Port Darwin, a major link in their security of northern Australia that has been in place for decades, being ‘leased’ to China by the Northern Territory government for 99 years. This allows a Chinese private company LandBridge, with ties to their government and military, complete with a fully trained private armed militia to protect that port. There was no consultation with the US government.

The USA armed forces might is sourced from some 320 million people hosting 120 million military ready personnel. Australia with 23 million people hosting just 56,000 military ready personnel. There are more cab drivers in Australia than soldiers.

August 8th 2014, Lan Bridge Group Armed Forces inaugural meeting was held in the Group of 101 meeting rooms.

November 17, 2014 Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott in Canberra, the two leaders decided to enhance the Sino-Australian relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Australia, announced the end of substantive negotiations on China-Australia free trade agreement.
Landbridge came to Australian public attention in mid-2014 with its share offer and purchase of Brisbane-based gas producer Westside Corporation.
After the talks, Xi Jinping with Abbott witnessed the signing held at Parliament House. Lanbridge Group chairman Ye Cheng and Western Australia Energy CEO Mike Hughes signed a natural gas production base investment agreement.

KAP Leader and Federal Member for Kennedy Bob Katter have expressed concern at media reports that the Free Trade Agreement with China could pave the way for increased foreign ownership of Australian assets and land.
“The last report I saw said Australia is 11% foreign owned. 52% of our land in Australia is designated desert. Over 25% of Australia is reserved for our First Australians. Of the 33% left, 11% is foreign owned.
“Let there be no doubt this will now be increased,” Mr Katter said.
Mr Katter said it is simply more billows of bulldust from Canberra which will blow away the last venture of manufacturing and decimate agriculture in this country.
“Just in the area of dairying alone, the biggest aggregation of dairying in Australia is in Tasmania and it is owned by the Chinese.
“Reportedly some 15% of Victorian dairy farms are foreign owned.
“The biggest dairy farm in Australian history has been announced, in Gympie by a WA mining magnate and it is reported in the media that this will be Chinese enterprise. Land that was to be set aside for a cooperative dairy farm owned by Australians to sell milk to the Chinese utilising land from the proposed Traveston Dam area – will now apparently be a gift to the Chinese.
“We have already gifted them the Ord, the biggest irrigation project in the nation, we’ve sold them cubby station, the biggest farm in the nation – I’m sure if they want to buy grandma’s false teeth that poor old granny will have to hand them over,” Mr Katter said.
