The 2020 Queensland election signalled the beginning of the end for identity politics in Australia and the recent 2024 election witnessed its death.
Pauline Hansons One Nation, Katters Australian Party and Clive Palmers United Australia Party are now dead and buried after One Nation and KAP’s dismal result at the weekend.
In spite of widespread community support for the three parties to unite, all ignored the calls and now are reaping the consequences.
Cairns News led the charge for party unity 18 months ago but personal egos tripped up every move. Palmers ego is bigger than his physical image, Hansons wasn’t much better and Bob Katter went along for the ride but no agreements could be reached.
Hanson told KAP executives she might consider amalgamation but she was going to be “the boss,” a proposition which defeated the purpose of joining forces.
Dumbed-down urban voters flocked to Liberal National candidates in 2024 believing things would change while farmers and similar-minded regional voters dreamed they were in a time-warp returning to a Bjelke Petersen era of development and prosperity.
Nothing could be further from their erotic dreams. Modern LNP is owned and managed by the same evil forces which control the socialist Labor Party.
The Covid vaxx bioweapon and more than 50,000 deaths are testimony to the deadly deeds of the faceless men from Deep State who run the Liberals and Labor.
Former Liberal PM Scott Morrison, was elevated to his lofty position because he was a totally compromised Deep State puppet, not much different from Labor’s hopeless Albanese.
Scotty from marketing did retire with $52m in his bank account.
Incoming US President Donald Trump has put the Australian Labor Party on notice that he won’t tolerate their Marxists implementing United Nations climate, LGBTQ and immigration policies among other communist planks which have all but killed US and Australian hegemony.
Trump is an anathema to Deep State over which he is well advanced, demolishing their iron grip on the world economy, manufactured social upheavals and wars.
Coming back to Queensland politics, it is not yet known what control Deep State has over Liberal leader David Cristafulli or his elected members but those corporate, faceless men from the top end of town lurking in back rooms will be controlled assets.
Main stream media has long been a thorn in the side of Trump and his massive army of supporters. Likewise Australia where any media support for political parties outside of Deep State control is quickly suppressed and ridiculed by their foot soldiers of the MSM.
With a federal election due within six months Hanson, Katter and Palmer should be taking a long hard look at how many candidates they have burnt over the past three state and federal elections.
In this state election Hanson had a candidate in every seat creating 93 terribly disappointed One Nation members who scraped up every cent they could to stand for Pauline and Ashby, the defacto leader of One Nation and a Liberal operative.
Not one was elected.
One Nation for a long time essentially has been a vote harvesting operation for the party attracting $9.99 per vote over 4 per cent of the total votes cast in each electorate.
Over 93 seats, although some did not reach four per cent, One Nation will drag in a tidy sum of taxpayer funded largesse. How much will be returned to candidates has always been a hot issue with PHON. In the past not much has made its way back to hard-pressed members.
Should the hierarchy of the three independent parties ignore this devastating electoral result and try to nominate candidates federally, the result will be the same as usual.
A new collective identity is required to garner all those disaffected candidates and supporters from across the north to join for a common goal – to create a new, Constitutional North Queensland State.
KAP, PHON or UAP will take the north nowhere. There is a registered party name which fits the bill perfectly – Regional Australia Party.
There are federal members of parliament namely Senator Alex Antic, Senator Malcolm Roberts, Senator Gerard Rennick, Senator Matt Canavan, Bob Katter and Barnaby Joyce all of whom need a serving of humble pie before coming together to actually represent the Australian people in a new entity such as RAP.
What remains of the identity parties would be welcome to join under the RAP banner with a leader elected by RAP members.
Time to retire Pauline, Bob and Clive.

Why should anyone be forced to preference what is usually a red-blue outcome, I would like to vote for one or two candidates and cross out the rest, if I do, my vote is disqualified. I don’t want to compulsorily preference in a first two past the post system. You see the deal, it is all compulsory and the only way out is to be a “donkey”

The UAE was deregistered 8 September 2022.
ON was disorganised in Queensland and only filled seats with candidates by the cut of date and there was NO information on them. Pauline lost it for me when she said there was no genocide happening in Gaza proving she’s under the control shadow government that runs the show.
In my seat I only had red, green to choose from so wrote “none of the above” on my ballot and would NEVER reward a party or politician for what they did during COVID and more.
The uni-party makes it impossible for alternative parties to run, Labor bought in donor limits besides those from unions and a host of other obstacles that make it hard for others to run.
There are a lot of “freedom” groups but as you say they’re are too many egos, infighting and sniping between them to come together and thought they have made contributions in different ways to highlight critical issues such for vaccines, digital IDs and MAD bills etc some how Australians just vote for more of the same even though they’ve collectively DESTROYED Australia and Australians for decades, it could be different at a Federal level with more to choose from.
Australia is deprived of any “leaders” the only politician who is pushing for reform and change on a number of levels is Gerrard Rennick.

They are the Party pushing for a Post Office Bank to force competition in the banking industry. They have pushed hard to defend our freedom of speech against the MAD legislation amongst other insidious proposed legislation.

It’s no surprise the voters shunned the minor parties and their leaders. They’re not mugs.
They obviously figured out that the minor party leaders are more interested in their naked ambitions and egos rather than joining forces in our country’s national interest.
If they genuinely wanted to serve the Australian people they would have banded together and become an irresistable force for something BETTER than the LNP.Labour Green UNIPARTY.
Luckily, since no one voted for them, no one is going to end up disappointed and betrayed by them.
Queensland is a poor indicator because they have no proportional representation, only a lower house with first-past-the-post swill taking an unrepresentative 100% of seats. Also with hindsight we can see the mood was clearly to remove the QALP, overshadowing than the protest vote for minor parties option.
Senator Gerard Rennick is also working on a party and as a level headed and practical type of guy I wish him success in his endeavours. There are enough independents ( not talking about Teals Party here ) to form a good sized bloc in the senate.
The Greens Party has lost more in the Queensland election, with their bogus ClimateChange fear campaign now falling apart.
There is a massive divide between the residents of the conurbations of capital cities and those of regional, rural and remote Australia. This divide was reaffirmed by the voting in the 2023 VOICE Referendum with many electorates centred about our capital cities voting Yes while all regional, rural and remote electorates voting NO.
While the article calls for the uniting of number of minor parties and the defection of various individual of the Liberal and National Parties, those involve have a perceived position of power and influence which they not relinquish on the vagary that joining or forming a new entity will provided them with an advantage. Additionally, PHON and UAP have zero interest in grassroots members and current members of any political party are afraid to cut the umbilical cord. With the KAP it is all about the branding and it has never had a policy setting to effectively replace the National Party that deserted regional, rural and remote Queensland when it merge with the Liberals.
We need a new incarnation of of what was the Queensland National Party without the baggage. New name and ZERO influence from SEQ power brokers! Their are some old guard Nationals within the LNP probing opportunities for its resurrection but will do nothing till some entity such as the New Country Queensland Party or Regional Australia Party (QLD) achieve political party registration through their membership numbers.

If you want unity need to join either of these entities so they have the membership numbers to secure political party registration. While both are basically on the same page regards policy, Regionals wants no Nationals/LNP baggage such as being seen to support NET Zero, Renewables, Treaty, Truth Telling while is opposed to contesting any electorates identifies as SEQ.

Last week, Opposition Leader Dutton replied to an interviewer, calling for the public to dob in loved ones, friends, or workmates who have changed their opinion of the Government for the worse to ASIO. After facing backlash on social media, I expected the Opposition Leader to clarify his remarks, but he has yet to do so.
His advocacy for Australians to report their fellow Australians to ASIO for expressing concerns about government COVID measures—which destroyed lives, health and families—is deeply troubling.

Australian election results are all organized offshore, and the Preferential Voting and Two Party Preferred System, that was never authorized by referendum, always sets the result in concrete before the elections are staged, and staged is the correct terminology for these fake elections.
