I marched in a rally to end fly-in fly-out mining and 457 overseas visas and to support our rural and regional communities. Local jobs for Australians means money spent in our local communities. Here is my speech on video:

On checking with KAP headquarters I am reliably informed that no such answer was given about a telephone inquiry into CIR. According to the spokesman, he said KAP has no policy on CIR. In any case KAP says it supports CIR in principle, but if we were to follow the California example we would be in more strife than Barack Obama. CIR was once the catchcry of the freedom movement but after 20 years of CIR in . eg, Sanfrancisco, we would end up with a total green, gay mother earth worshipping latte set dictating policy to the 70 per cent of the population who oppose their beliefs. Whoever has the money has the policies. Unfortunately CIR may have withered on the vine. In Queensland we would be in a more commanding position if we reintroduced the Upper House.

What a same KAP doesn’t support Citizens Initiated Referendums.
