The Palestinians have to walk 8-12km to a food distribution point through IDF combat zones where they are shot at going to that distribution point through choke holds, and then shot at leaving it, many being killed and wounded. I went to the Sydney Bridge protest yesterday, Sunday 3rd, in torrential rain, with over 100,000 others, of ALL races & nationalities.
We, (wife & I) got the bus to Town Hall (E Subs trains off) but didn’t follow the the main stream to the demo starting point, but (having to go to the loo at Circular Quay), went up the Argyle steps to the bridge so found ourselves on the walkway, not the actual bridge where the demo/march was taking place.
No problem. We got a good possie as the great unwashed passed by us in their multi thousands.

TBH it didn’t get much reaction from the largely pro- Palestinian crowd (you know.. ‘ OR’ Pro-Palestine ‘ but a couple of young guys did come up & say ‘Agree with your message’. Maybe Jewish…there were a few in the crowd..
And if you think I’ve gone over to the dark side, think again. I agree with all/most of the comments that say our very culture is being dis-mantled & usurped, as we watch.
