Australia is on the verge of agreeing to legally binding international amendments under the International Health Regulations (IHRs) and potentially a new pandemic treaty — yet, at this critical moment, the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties (JSCT) has been dissolved.
Since the dissolution of Parliament in March 2025, the Australian Government has failed to re-establish the Joint Standing Committee on Treaties (JSCT) — the very body responsible for reviewing international agreements and facilitating public consultation.
In the months that followed, critical treaty processes with the World Health Organization have continued — including the adoption of amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHRs) — with no parliamentary oversight and no opportunity for public input.
This silence speaks volumes.
It is now clear: the Australian Government has no interest in consulting the people it represents.
In the absence of transparency and democratic process, the Aligned Council of Australia has exercised our right as concerned citizens (and as representatives of almost 2 million people) and written directly to Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization.
We have conveyed our absolute rejection of the 2024 International Health Regulations amendments. We know our opposition the the IHRs is shared by many Australians who feel ignored, unrepresented, and deeply concerned by the lack of scrutiny and open dialogue around these binding international agreements.
If our government will not speak for us, we will speak for ourselves.
Treaty review is not a formality. It’s a constitutional safeguard.
The Australian people have a right to full transparency, robust debate, and parliamentary oversight — not backroom approval.

Italy rejects changes to WHO emergency regulations, like the US: ‘Too binding’

In a letter dated 18 July to the WHO director-general, Tedros Ghebreyesus, Health Minister Orazio Schillaci announced Italy’s rejection of the 2024 amendments to the International Health Regulations, adopted at the 77th World Health Assembly.
The amendments go in the direction of a legally binding framework to respond to public health emergencies. “Pursuant to Article 61 of the International Health Regulations (2005), by this letter I hereby notify you of the rejection by the Italian side of all the amendments adopted,” it reads. Italy thus aligns itself with the US position: the Trump administration also rejected the amendments, pointing out that the changes risk interfering in an ‘unjustified’ way with the sovereign national right to develop health policies.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Pandemic Agreement is aimed at strengthening pandemic prevention, preparedness, and response.
Signing a new international agreement and the targeted changes to the International Health Regulations (IHR) may create new international legal obligations for Australia. However, this will not automatically change Australian law.
The Agreement takes onboard the lessons learnt during the COVID-19 pandemic and supports collective action to address pandemic threats, including by strengthening multi-sectoral disease surveillance and access to vaccines.
While the Agreement has been adopted by the World Health Assembly, there are further steps remaining to finalise technical details. Australia will only commence our treaty making process after the Agreement opens for signature, which is not expected until at least mid-2026.
Once the Agreement has entered into force, Australia and our region will be better positioned to reduce pandemic risks and respond swiftly if a pandemic occurs, saving lives and mitigating the impacts on our economies. Australia will retain full sovereignty in making public health decisions which promote the interests of Australians.
The WHO and Australia have a strong, long-standing partnership spanning more than 70 years. During this time, the sharing of expertise across a wide range of health issues has helped make the Indo-Pacific region, and beyond, healthier, and safer.
Taking part in these reforms helps to protect the health and wellbeing of Australians.
Australia will continue to participate in discussions to help achieve the best possible outcome and ensure Australian interests are advanced.

Israeli Health Minister Uriel Bosso announced that Israel will withdraw from joining the WHO’s updated health regulations.
Reason: Concern that the treaty will grant the organization far-reaching powers at the expense of the state in the areas of security, economy and education.
The move became official last Sunday, when Israel’s ambassador to Geneva submitted Israel’s notification to the organization.
Minister Bosso’s decision was preceded by activities by several Knesset members, including Simcha Rotman, Ariel Kellner, and Limor Son Har-Malech, who presented to the minister the possible implications of joining the treaty, and brought him to “in-depth familiarity” with the issue.
Health Minister Uriel Bosso said: “At the end of a comprehensive review process that lasted for months, and after an in-depth discussion with the professionals in the Ministry of Health, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and legal advice, I have decided that the Ministry of Health will not join the World Health Organization’s health regulations at this time. This is a complex and considered decision that is intended to protect the interests of the State of Israel and expresses our full responsibility for public health.

It amazes me that most readers seem to be obsessed with Trump’s alleged and probable sex escapades rather than mass murder charges against the World’s population. He flagrantly admits to pushing the pharmaceutical industry into “operation warp speed” to release a “vaccine” as quickly as possible even though there was not the usual testing requirements done. This was even though by the time the “vaccine” was supposedly ready for release it was known that there had not been a pandemic, except in the minds of the World’s psychopathic population.
I myself had confirmed the lack of a pandemic by June 2020 using the government death statistics against the previous 10 years. Dr Robert O. Young of US had broadcast that the death figures for 2020 were less than each of the previous 3 years. These facts were released 7 months before the lethal “vaccine” was placed into the arms of the unsuspecting and panicked population.
If the President of the US along with his medical advisers were not informed of this situation they had no right to hold their respective positions. There was ample time for the pulling of “operation warp speed” when the lack of a pandemic was known.
This man, Trump, should in my opinion, be prosecuted for mass murder as many would have charged Adolf Hilter after World War ll. It looks like his victims way out number Hilter’s real death numbers in time of war.
While his alleged romps with Epstein need attention it is far more important that the charges I bring into focus against him be of concern.

If the contents are legitimate, then it is good news. If it is not genuine, then what is going on? A troll, a deliberate misdirection?

The Aligned Council have made a monumental boo-boo and thrown every one of their 42k petition signatories and 2 million they allegedly “represent” by referring to these people as CITIZENS, not people.

The information about the IHR signing I received from local member Richard Marles’s staffer is that the IHR might well be signed today, but must go to a treaties standing committee, composed of a cross section of Senators, to be assessed.
Wikipedia tells me that they have 15-20 days to make their determination and “ratify” the signing.
Whether this is actually the case I another matter, but we do have time to petition or to lodge objections t the IHR.
I alerted Marles’s staffer to the fact that the WHO, a branch of the UN, is a corporation registered on the US Securities and Exchange Commission, to no rebuttal, and that legitimate governments cannot make treaties with corporations, only contracts for services, like they might do with BHP or some other provider, for various services.
I did not posit the idea that the federal government is corporate too, though there is a corporate and non-corporate Commonwealth of Australia.
Amongst other things, I said that I determine what goes into my body, as per the Nuremberg Code and all the other inspections usually cited, and as such, any such contract/treaty as proposed cannot stand in Law, and that a referendum is required for such a change to the way we live.
Allegiance to a foreign power prohibitions did not get an airing, but will in my objection, as the Lower House, and the Senate, who are the alleged “Guardians of the Constitution”, to have allowed this nonsense to even get through the doors of Parliament, is a shambles, as the whole thing is unlawful, for a start.
