Today Brisbane is like another universe. What happened to this 1964 idyllic way of life when Brisbane was just a big country town? The corporate political parties since then have done their job on behalf of Deep State, with its insidious television mind-conditioning, breaking down the barriers of church, families and education, tearing families apart, introducing marijuana then harder drugs destroying our youth.
The Labor Fabians led by Fabius Maximus himself, Gough Whitlam, starting in the early 70’s destroyed the very fabric of Christian life following Marx then Mao and the cultural revolution was in full swing. America and Britain saw the same script.
The war against the people has continued ever since.
The digitized, artificial, synthetic mode of “life”; is garbage.

Brisbane was different ok… Back then many a suburb had its own ethnic flavour… Greeks at West End, Italians at New Farm etc.., with a European mix through the suburbs AND our football teams.
Chinatown was confined to a section of Fortitude Valley and a special cultural experience to enjoy. Everyone got on well together but for some crazy reason many adult Protestants hated Catholics.
We went to school on pushbikes or trams and every day before class had a small bottle of fresh milk each. After school we would hunt sparrows in the neighbourhood with our daisy air guns while Guy Fawkes night was a huge community event everywhere.
Oh nearly forgot… WW2 memories had kept many Japanese products out of our homes until the sixties and then we couldn’t get enough.
Population growth is needed to keep up with increasing interest payments.

Yep I agree I was born in North Queensland but lived in Brisbane all my life. Up until maybe the mid 90’s it hadn’t changed much but then it started to change in demographics and population where everything started to expand in urban spread. Today it’s a mini Sydney. Perhaps not quite as bad but until people wake up and realise population growth is not progression we have no chance of Brisbane retaining its charm that once was a proud asset of this city.
