How he became deranged is the million dollar question. He could be another MK Ultra Manchurian candidate or he could be naturally stupid. Present media, bureaucratic and political processes will never release any truth about the attack.

THIS WAS NOT A TERRORIST ATTACK. Brendan Nugent is a white Australian known as an environmentalist — a greenie who advocated for forests, forestry and wildlife protection. He supported Palestine because he opposed genocide. That does not automatically make him far left or far right. Reports about his education, unusual behaviour noticed by neighbours, and a reported admission to a mental health ward months earlier raise questions about what may have been happening in his life. Helen Haines and Brendan Nugent shared political views on supporting Palestine and protecting the environment.
So why did he attack Helen? What happened, and what motivated his actions, remain unanswered. This does not make him far left or far right. It makes him a man who committed a heinous crime, and the reasons behind his actions still need to be established. We need facts, evidence and answers — not political labels or speculation.
