I got a duel fuel Ford Falcon…Costs me a $1 a litre. I don’t think LPGas will run out any time soon, or go up in price. Good luck though in converting your car, they all went broke when the subsidies ended and would cost a mint. Just looking for someone to fix it it isn’t easy either.
I heard Iranians are paying 10c per litre, Russians about 50c per litre and a video I saw had water at $5 and petrol at 3c per litre at a servo in either Libya or Lebanon. We pay extraordinary prices for fuel because we don’t drill our own and refine it, all involved should be hanged for treason. It is our oil they are denying us! As well as our wealth, as it is being sent overseas.
Paying GST on top of fuel excise does not include the income tax and medicare levy you paid on the money in your pocket, and the food you ate is likely also taxed and not deductible as an input cost, likewise driving to work and the clothes you wear, so you had better move closer to your job if you don’t want to be cleaned out.
