By Senator Alex Antic

Last week, Labor introduced the Online Safety Amendment (Digital Duty of Care) Bill 2026 and, despite some minor amendments to the Exposure Draft, the Bill still poses an alarming threat to free speech in Australia.
First, the Bill allows for the Office of the eSafety Commissioner to create “sock puppet” accounts/identities, which presumably could be used to covertly “monitor” content on social media platforms, interact with other accounts, and generate material using AI.
Rather than merely observing social media, that office could run secret tests and conduct investigations.
Second, the concept of “serious harm” is still problematic and vague, and could be used as a cover-all term to force social media platforms to proactively restrict content that the government decides is “harmful”.
Any material or conduct that the Office of the eSafety Commissioner decides “may cause serious harm to children” must be restricted, and that could mean pretty much anything.
Moreover, the definition of “online service” in this Bill is so broad that it could capture over a million Australian businesses, triggering onerous obligations to abide by the Digital Duty of Care including the requirement to produce annual online safety risk assessment reports in the same way billion-dollar platforms like X and Meta would have to. This is unfair and confusing, and has nothing to do with protecting children online. It is yet another utterly pointless and cumbersome imposition on small businesses.
Just before the Bill was introduced, I sat down with US journalist and free speech advocate Michael Shellenberger in Parliament House to discuss the Exposure Draft. He considered it to be one of the most alarming pieces of proposed legislation concerning free speech he had ever seen.
Michael had much to say about the Bill, the state of free speech in the US and Australia respectively, and a range of issues including the collapsing climate change narrative. It’s a refreshing discussion that you won’t want to miss.
Ultimately, this new version does not alleviate the concerns raised by the Exposure Draft. It is critical that we defeat this Bill.

If the world’s minions weren’t in lockstep with censoring alternate narratives, a fifteen years old nipper could be forgiven for thinking Albo ET AL. was a good thing.

But recent history tells a different story, of a debt-riddled thing, hell bent on compulsory laws where the government envisions itself as the supreme power of the nation state, with a license to lord it over the the people, who own The Constitution that frames the three branches of the political state, each with seperate powers.
.
To get in the sea , a great flood is needed to wash the Roman Corpus Juris Civilis citizenship, that CAPITALISES on ignorance, off the body of land and body of texts, to restore the highest power vested in The Constitution to the people.

Too right, Johnno! Zero dollars means it’s working perfectly.
RE: “…no matter how many times they’ve tried, communism hasn’t worked anywhere…”
If I had a dollar for every time communism worked, I’d have zero dollars. And if it HAD worked, I’d still have zero dollars.
Time to start writing your MY WILL letters to your local members and senators as well as to albo and his minion to say its to be dropped – NOT altered or watered down – DROPPED IMMEDIATELY – and to have your MY WILL letter presented to Parliament. This is what worked decades ago, and still valid. Just not many People doing it these days and that’s the issue. No action. Put it in the POST. Each hand written letter is worth more than a couple dozen emails. It need not be a long letter, the less words and the direct point makes the point eg. ‘It is MY WILL that the Online Safety Amendment (Digital Duty of Care) Bill 2026 is dropped immediately and NEVER to be brought to the table again!’ Sign it and post. Simples, folks!

Ahem, It hasn’t worked well for the Average Joe. But it’s worked extremely well for its Master controllers in designated regions. They seized all state and private assets, achieved complete control of the Average Joes for nearly 100 years and even managed to exterminate millions of dissident and undesirable Joes to boot. Not to mention that they gave themselves a fantastic springboard for morphing into other forms of totalitarianism and many more centuries of control.
Alex and his Antics is wasting his good talents in the Uniparty.
They will never change their coat of deception.
Wake the hell up and join One Nation if you intend to still be in politics in the future !!!
Yeah all this reminds me of the sorts of shenanigans that the Soviet Union and other communist regimes pulled. Someone needs to remind Comrade Elbow and his goons that no matter how many times they’ve tried communism hasn’t worked anywhere. It gas only has resulted in misery, squalor and genocide of millions of people.
The ALP is a secret society and Elbow is the Grand Wizard, his masters are the CCP, the banksters, the crowned head, the Unions, certain corporate interests, the UN and WEF, we know because whenever he does some legislations it only serves the interests of the above and he has the entire back-bench to support everything with zero research and zero interest in their electorate who are brainwashed to vote for him without thinking about anything let alone a few years ahead. According to the research, when Elbow’s father slipped away his grandfather brought him up, while running a printing shop, where poppa got busted and a large fine imposed for forging horse racing forms and medicine labels. But top secret above that would have been ballot papers for the ALP, which was his client too. He never got caught for printing any ballot papers. How much ballot stuffing was needed to get the ALP where it is today. My guess is they should all be locked up.
I was greatly concerned that Labor would attempt to politicise the attack upon MP Haines to help get this draconian bill through the lower house. But once I knew the alleged attacker’s political views, I (and I am sure every other politically aware Indi resident who routinely puts Haines last on the ballet every election like I do) realised that the alleged attacker and Haines were extreme hard left political peas in a pod and therefore the motivation for the attack was not political. Victorian Police got onto this line of thought as well (perhaps a bit slower than I would have liked) and good on them for getting it out into the media at a crucial point time. If they had not done so and left the media hanging on their misinformation narrative (that it was a political assassination attempt), Victorian Police might themselves have been implicated in aiding and abetting the politicisation of the attack. So well done to them for realising this and putting the record straight.
Have you people learnt nothing?
obvious_bob has told you that all this rubbish is social engineering that the grubberment has no Head of Power for.
I told Kellie Sloane that today, by phone to her office and via email, and sent it to Cairns News too.
Fair dinkum!!!
