A government authority failing to list Judaism or Jewish is a gross example of antisemitism. The government should refer it to the Royal Commission Inquiry. It lists all sorts of minority Christian sects but not one of the world’s 4 great religions. It is clear institutional discrimination into irrelevance. Why?

The census has been marketed as mandatory or compulsory, and through misleading advertising, most people have been led to accept it as fact. Hence the ridiculous debates about the religious question, which is optional in any case. The Census and Statistics Act, section 10(3) says:
(3) For the purposes of section 8 or 9, the Statistician or an authorized officer may, either orally or in writing, REQUEST A PERSON:
(a) to fill up and supply, in accordance with instructions contained in or accompanying a form, the particulars specified in that form; and
(b) to cause the form so filled up to be furnished to the Statistician, or to an authorized officer, in accordance with those instructions.
The fact that no named individual has received a request to answer the Statistician’s questions, means that the ABS is not complying with its own Act, and that the actions taken to date are misleading and fraudulent. The Australian public has been tricked into supplying personal information voluntarily without valid authorisation. Now the chief statistician (who has been in that position for seven years) is either fully aware of that position, or is totally ignorant. Either way, he has failed in this position, and needs to be removed immediately for incompetence, together with the Minister.
What most people fail to realise is that the word ‘Worship’ is actually a relatively modern word. The etymological root stems from the Old English, ‘weorc,’ and ‘weorcipe’ (work-ship).

It was only relatively recently that the ‘k’ was dropped and ‘workship’ became ‘worship.’

The original Semitic word that eventually became ‘worship’ was ‘avod,’ which meant ‘work.’

The ancients never actually worshipped their gods, – they worked for them. This is why they were called ‘Craftsmen,’ as in the Craft of Masonry, etc. This is where the word ‘crafty’ or ‘cunning’ originated. In the New Testament, Jesus’s father Joseph was described as a ‘Craftsman’ (Aramaic: naggar, Greek: ho tekton). It was only during the 17th century when this was mistranslated to become ‘carpenter.’

So returning to the original and uncorrupted meaning of worship, one could quite legitimately fill in the ‘Other (specify)’ box with one’s job or favourite pastime. Right?

How utterly confusing have they made things.
If the whole census form had a “prefer not to say” a lot of people would tick that. The ALP and UnaParty think statistics are there to be abused. You can see when the ALP says they “have a budget surplus” when really they just jiggered the numbers around, the reality is they have a raging deficit which they keep feeding. You can’t believe any numbers from the ALP and probably most UnaParty colluders.
