THE journal Nature has finally retracted a ‘fatally flawed’ study used to justify projections of “catastrophic future climate impacts”, and its authors have admitted that the errors are ‘too substantial’ for just a correction.
Nature retracted “The Economic Commitment of Climate Change,” by Kotz et al. (KLW24), more than 18 months after first learning that the paper was fatally flawed.
Welcoming the retraction, Climate Depot contributor Roger Pielke Jr said it was not just the long overdue retraction that mattered, but the reaction to it, which indicated that while the mainstrem climate narrative still had a grip on the climate discussion, things may be changing for the better.
“Back in August, I explained the growing scandal around KLW24: It wasn’t just a fatally flawed paper, but a flawed paper that had taken on outsized influence in climate advocacy and policy.
“For instance, KLW24 was the second most featured climate paper by the media in all of 2024, according to Carbon Brief.”
Pielke says more importantly, KLW24 has been widely used in policy around the world to justify projections of catastrophic future climate impacts and as a basis for cost-benefit analyses of mitigation. Notable examples include:
Significantly, the Network for Greening the Financial System, a consortium comprised primarily of central banks around the world, adopted KLW24 as the basis for its “damage function” used by bank regulators to stress test monetary policies against climate risks.
“Consequently, it is not an exaggeration to claim that KLW24 has a potential financial impact on just about everyone. Of note, the U.S. Federal Reserve withdrew from the NGFS on January 17, 2025,” says Pielke.
He noted that The New York Times cited some of the critics of KLW24.
“For instance, Christof Schötz (who, interestingly, happens to be a colleague of the authors of KLW24 at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research) pulls no punches with his accurate portrayal of KLW24:
“The paper does not provide additional evidence of economic damages from climate change, nor can it serve as a basis for reliable future projections,” said Schotz.
The NYT also cited Lint Barrage, chair of energy and climate economics at ETH Zurich, who offered an important warning, and not just to the authors of KLW24, but more broadly to the climate research community:
“It can feel sometimes, depending on the audience, that there’s an expectation of finding large estimates. If your goal is to try to make the case for climate change, you have crossed the line from scientist to activist, and why would the public trust you?”

WEF Demands Global Ban on Homegrown Food to Meet ‘Net Zero’.
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is demanding that global governments enforce bans on members of the general public growing food at home in order to supposedly lower “emissions.”
The globalist organization claims that homegrown food contributes to “climate change.”
The WEF argues that banning homegrown food will help governments comply with their targets for meeting “Net Zero” by 2030.
In order to comply with the WEF’s “Net Zero” targets, governments must drastically reduce “carbon emissions” by 2030 and completely eliminate them by 2050.
According to so-called “experts” behind a recent WEF study, researchers apparently discovered that the “carbon footprint” of homegrown food is “destroying the planet.”

As New South Wales Treasurer, his last budget tripled their deficit and put them on track for a $160 billion debt. As energy minister he left their grid facing blackouts with the proposed shutdown of Liddell and Eraring power stations.
Matt Kean’s glaring incompetence, though, pales beside his conflict of interest.
The Climate Change Authority that Kean chairs, from which he advises the government, influences the price of carbon credits. Two months after getting the job, Matt Kean accepted a second job. The Climate Change Authority mustn’t be doing too much if the chair has time to shop himself around for other part-time jobs. When the chair is chasing other careers, do we really need a Climate Change Authority? That second job is with Wollemi Capital, who will make millions from investing in carbon credits.
Matt Kean is chair of the government agency that helps set the price of carbon credits while he works for a company that will make money out of carbon credits. It seems that Australia has the best politicians that money can buy.
What does the Albanese Labor government say about this blatant conflict of interest? Nothing. Silence. The government is happy to put the fox in charge of the henhouse, and Australians will continue to pay.

Live Earth’s half empty stadiums and lackluster TV viewing figures were preceded by another embarrassment after one of the propaganda bandwagon’s kingpins and a top global warming advocate responded to a question about solar-system wide climate change by claiming that Jupiter, Mars and Saturn were closer to the sun than Earth.
David Mayer de Rothschild is the youngest child (born 1978) of Sir Evelyn de Rothschild, of the British wing of the Rothschild banking family.
Rothschild’s recent book, 77 Essential Skills to Stop Climate Changes, calls for ordinary people to limit outward behavior and even work at home and was used as part of the PR blitz to accompany the Live Earth project.
Appearing on The Alex Jones Show this past Friday, Rothschild reacted to a point about massive climate change at every point of the solar system and its relation to natural sun cycles by claiming Mars, Saturn and Jupiter were closer to the sun than Earth!
Here’s a brief transcript of the exchange.
ALEX JONES: “The polar icecaps of Mars are receding at several miles a year, much faster than ours and that the moons of Saturn and Jupiter are melting, in fact several of their moons were ice and are now liquid seas – how are SUV’s causing that David Rothschild?
ROTHSCHILD: “Because those planets are closer to the sun, my friend.”
ALEX JONES: “No, Jupiter and Saturn are not closer to the sun and neither is Mars.”
Rothschild then quickly changes the subject and when the point is raised again later in the show, he makes no effort to correct himself.

Last time we checked, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn were all orbiting the sun at a greater distance than Earth.
Rothschild’s hilarious screw-up is yet another example as to why the general public remain unconvinced by the error-strewn apocalyptic admonitions of the climate cult.
A Mori poll released last week found that a majority of the UK population were still skeptical about man-made global warming and believed the threats were being exaggerated for political purposes and to make money.
Throughout the radio appearance, Rothschild parrots empty sound bite platitudes about there only being “one earth,” while failing to address recent scientific analysis which reveals that the oldest plant DNA ever discovered showed that “the planet was far warmer hundreds of thousands of years ago than is generally believed,” again underscoring the fact that climate change is a routine and natural phenomenon that has occurred throughout earth’s history.
Although Rothschild stresses the existence of just one earth on numerous occasions, it appears as though he thinks there is another one earth orbiting the sun – at a greater distance than Saturn or Jupiter!
He also glibly repeats the charge that the radio station he was appearing on, the Genesis Communications Network, was bankrolled by the oil industry and that was the reason for challenging the monopoly on truth that the man-made global warming crowd attribute themselves.
Deliciously ironic therefore it is that big oil men like the chairman of British Petroleum Peter Sutherland are fanning the flames of global warming hysteria in order to create artificial scarcity and drive up prices, while also getting fat off the peak oil scam, another charade manufactured by the oil companies and gleefully embraced by phony environmentalists.

Two days before atmospheric pressure change to LOW: planes spread chemicals non stop on altitude higher than 10 km. Usually on the second day the sky is milky white and temperatures go really madly high like on 5&6 December in Sydney almost 40 degrees. Artificial clouds cause “Glass house EFFECT!!”! On Friday 5 December the chemtrail plane most probably started from Richmond air base at 08:30 after gaining altitude at 8:35 started dusting chemicals over Sydney travelling east.
Carbon Dioxide does not couse Warming
1). In my old meteorology textbook it states that carbon dioxide absorbs heat, but it does not say that it cools when the sun goes down. Any normal person would know when the heat is off it would cool, but not the Bureau of Meteorology “BOM” people; all they want to do is say carbon dioxide is causing global warming so as to put a stop to manufacturing so the country cannot have manufacturing to defend itself. Wind turbines are all for the UN and Agenda 30 people hoping to take control of Australia or the world. Wind turbines and solar panels are not about good, clean electricity; they are about putting a stop to manufacturing, and a good example of that is the closing of Tomago Aluminium. This will put a lot of people out of work. Is that what Labor wants to do?
2). The BOM is committing an act of treason in what they are doing, and this government is not doing anything about it. Therefore, it would seem the government is working for the same foreign power and is committing the same crime. That is also treason, and under Section 44 of the Constitution, all government ministers should be removed from Parliament.
3). The UN is saying the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is causing global warming, which is not possible as it is only 0.04% of the atmosphere. So it is impossible to cause warming. Also, carbon dioxide absorbs heat and then cools at night. Therefore, the UN has got it all wrong again. If all carbon dioxide was removed, everything on earth would die; that is not good. Take note: people with cooling the ocean will rise as there is less evaporation; with warming, there is more evaporation, so the ocean will go down. That is why over 5000 years ago you could walk between Australia and Tasmania; that was before the big flood and it was warmer then.
4). When you freeze water, it expands about 10%. So when it melts, it shrinks 10%, so it will not cause the ocean to rise. With the iceberg, what you see above the water line is the amount the water has expanded; that is the 10%, so when it melts, it shrinks the 10%, so it will not cause the ocean to rise. The ocean is rising because we have cooling, and that is because we have less evaporation. With all the rivers around the world running into the ocean and with less evaporation, the ocean will rise.
5). With warming, there is more evaporation, so the ocean will go down. You can easily check this by getting three small cans the same size and filling them up with water (the same amount of water in all three) and putting one in the deep freezer, one out in the sun on hot days, and the third one in the refrigerator so the temperature is about 2 degrees so it will not freeze or evaporate; leave them for maybe 2 or 3 days. (Evaporation will not happen at a low temperature, or it is very, very small.) Now when you check them, you will find the one out in the sun has had a lot of evaporation, or maybe there is no water left. The one in the refrigerator is the same, but the one in the deep freezer has frozen, and it has expanded about 10%, as it has risen up in the center. So now we will put the one in the deep freezer in the refrigerator and leave it for about a day, then see what has happened. You will see ice has melted, and it has the same amount of water as the one that has been in the refrigerator all the time.
6). This is proof that when you freeze water, it expands about 10%, and when it melts, it shrinks the same amount, so what the scientists and BOM people are saying is all lies. If what the scientists are saying is correct, then if your water is running low, just freeze it, and then when it melts, it will have increased by 10%. That is mad. To check it out again, just get a frying pan and put water in it, then put it on the stove and turn the stove on. The water will NOT increase like what the scientists and BOM people are saying; it will decrease and evaporate till all water has evaporated.
I fail to see why the ACCC is not looking into these so-called global warming lies. With it the UN is claiming using coal-fired power is causing global warming, which are all lies, and that is so as to put a stop to manufacturing, and that is very bad. Stopping manufacturing is treason that also comes under Section 44 of the Constitution.
7). With the UN saying carbon dioxide is causing global warming, when actually we have global cooling, and this will go on for about 14,539 years. The UN does not know the difference between cooling and warming. Just all lies, and more lies.
8). The UN is just trying to take control of Australia, and our government is being paid by the UN to hand Australia over to the UN. Our government (Labor) is committing an act of treason, and the Liberal Party is supporting Labor, or is Labor working for the Liberal?
9). From 1890 to 1910, the temperature right across Australia was in the low 50s; it does not get that hot anymore. That again means that we have cooling, not warming.
10). I saw on the internet the BOM saying that water vapor is the worst greenhouse gas, then it was removed, and now the BOM is saying that with the higher temperature (but the temperature is going down, not up), it is causing more water vapor, and this is causing more global warming. That is delusional. The BOM making these claims should be taken to court under Constitution S.44 (working for a foreign power) and put in jail. Do not forget, if you remove all high-temperature records, then all new temperatures are a new record even though they are much lower than they used to be. If what the BOM is saying is correct, then on a cloudy day it would be the hottest day, or may be the hottest days are when it is snowing. That is how bad their lies are.

11). Earth was at 0 degrees about 5000 years ago; now Earth is at 23 degrees. Therefore, the Earth has 2 sexes. (a) day and night and (b) warming and cooling. 5000/23 = 217. That means it takes about 217 years to move 1 degree. 90-23 = 67; 67 x 217 = 14,539 years before cooling stops and warming starts. A new big flood would be 90 + 67 = 157 x 217 = 34,069 years for a new big flood. This is based on the last big flood being 5000 years ago.
