At the end of May, at the annual World Health Assembly, the World Health Organization (WHO) votes on amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR). Supported by Australia, the United States’ proposal was for 80 pages of changes that would turn the WHO into the world health police — 80 pages!
The WHO proposed egregious powers, including the ability to mandate vaccinations, medical procedures, lockdowns and border closures, and to detain individuals without due process. And yes, Australia really supported that. However, other nations are rightly now pushing back and as a result, the proposal has been watered down and the regulations are likely to remain advisory.
The WHO faces a dilemma: its constitution and its own IHR prohibit the vote. According to Schedule 2, Article 55 of the IHR, all matters subject to a vote must be circulated four months in advance. With only two months remaining, a Department of Health Freedom of Information request (FOI No. 4941) reveals that the changes are still being worked out. The requirement to provide advance notification to allow member nations time to debate and make decisions has not been met and CANNOT be met at this stage.
Additionally, Article 21 of the WHO’s constitution specifies that the regulations can only cover international measures. Their constitution does not provide for expanding IHR to cover our own Australian domestic health response, such as the closure of state borders.
The scheduled May 2024 vote is not only contrary to the WHO’s constitution, but also proposes a scope outside its constitution.
I urge the Australian Government not to participate in an illegal vote. Instead, it should use its influence to ask the WHO to complete the changes first and then provide all members the required four-month notice of an Extraordinary World Health Assembly, specifically for the purpose of debating and voting on these changes.
The rule of law must apply to everyone, including the World Health Organisation.

My understanding is all agreements with WHO and WEF are by Treaty. However, I thought Treaty was only ever applied between Nations. Therefore agreements with these organisations have no standing in Law. They do not represent me and I will not obey! Should the Government or the Banksters steal my money I will take from them something more valuable than money.

The lower house elections are effectively rigged by the major parties so it hardly matters who you number first, what matters is who the mob picks as #1 and #2, your preference will go there. If you don’t like the top two or three contenders you may as well rip up your ballot. Some have advocated putting the major parties equal last by using the same number but this will be counted as a donkey vote or randomly assigned to #1 or #2 via human error or similar.
The upper house has a few real politicians who are not beholden to the party machines. To trick us the AEC makes their voting form into a jumble, including unmarked boxes, no information and so forth. Imagine if the AEC was running a foot race with about 30 contenders, it would be a shambles, it would be a disgrace. The AEC has already picked the potential winners. You have the option to vote 1-6 above the line so most people will do that. If you want to vote for independent minded party senators like Antic or Rennick or Canavan you will have to vote below the line which is a chore but it must be endured. If you vote for the red or blue or green party you won’t get to choose the senator and the party will shaft us as they always do. Just look at the economy today, I have hardly seen Australia in a worse state since Paul Keating’s Great Recession. This one might very likely be worse.

I do not understand how “not voting” would help. Hence always vote. In my mind it only adds to the corrupt side’s numbers-when those of us who do not agree don’t vote? Need an explanation please.
In response to commenter Paul below, my reading is that the internet chatter that mandates are/were optional, is some sort of misinformation put out by I can’t guess whom. The WHO advice is optional, the crooked politicians, led by Grek Hunt implemented the optional advice in the form of mandates. Individuals such as Grek Hunt make the taking of the WHO advice compulsory FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN TO THEMSELVES
