Furthermore, it may be that the Senate was wrong in allowing a Bill to be brought there, as it is a house of review, and, to the best of my knowledge legislation is made in the lower house.
Senate Members(Katy Gallagher brought it in, a Rennick staffer told me) may be able to bring in a private Bill, but one like this? I doubt it,as one would think such a drastic change to the way we live-being made digital slaves and prisoners-might need our actual consent via a referendum (do the slavery laws come into play here?).
