It’s so refreshing to read from someone who still has a heart connection and can see we are all at fault. As is written: Judge not lest ye be judged.
I’d just like to point out that the Catholic Church is not the only church to have rapists; I know this first hand. People are silenced, it is not made public. So much focus is on the Catholic Church but all religious denominations need to be under the spotlight.
It’s the wolf in sheeps clothing trick. Churches, charities and all organisations that ‘claim’ to be good and work for the betterment of humanity are the best places for predators to hide. They are opportunistic, these places provide perfect opportunities, i.e., trusting people.

And for those of us who condemn the Catholic Church for all its horrific sins please know that the persecution of the Church had to be directed from withIN as well as from without. To successfully make progress in destroying the church it had to be INFILTRATED which it certainly has!!! Hence you see all the horrific paedophilia and homosexual behaviours among many of the Catholic clergy (Refer Bell Dodd and Douglas Hyde regarding the communist infiltration of the Church!!!) Why are these efforts of evil directed at the Catholic Church you ask? Because the Catholic Church has the whole TRUTH, it has the seven Sacraments instituted by Christ, of which the protestant churches at each breakaway point have abandoned six, one by one, as well as 7 of the books of the Bible. These make the Catholic Church the primary target as Satan HATES THE TRUTH. AND he so likes to see the division among Christians! You are yet to see the culmination of their efforts at dragging the Catholic church into the One World Religion. (They certainly appear so far to be achieving their goal!). Those in the Church who don’t cooperate in this (the remnant) will be persecuted, but in the end will triumph. Also please remember that the WHOLE CHURCH includes ALL CHRISTIANS. I expect most who read this column would identify as Christians? We ALL need to strive for holiness, to be in God’s Grace. Let us all repent and pray for God’s Mercy!!! [I am certain this post will cause anger among a few and accept that I may be banned from cairnsnews. If so I will be sad, but at least I know I will have done my best.]
