In my opinion, Avi Yemeni has been harvesting people’s money for court proceedings that never required lawyers to attend. And has has Monica Smit, who seems to have a batter y of lawyers at her disposal.
It is easy enough to go in self-represented, to make sure that the hearing is on the public record (often Court hearings are not-they are often private administrative hearings) and one can also tell the Magistrate that you require a jury hearing, which is your tight and cannot be denied.

Rachel Grahame, who has advanced dementia and weighs just 45 kgs, howls in distress as six NSW police officers surround and handcuff her late at night at St Basil’s aged care home in Sydney on 31 October 2020. Police were called after the 81-year-old took a lanyard off a staff member and refused to return it.
The screws in her nursing home apparently could not wait for the 81 year old dementia sufferer to have her Nana nap and then just take the lanyard.
