CAIRNS New has discovered a bizarre twist to the Dezi Freeman shooting story: Google Maps and Google Earth have marked Freeman’s north east Victorian hideaway as “Dezy’s Extreme Hide n Seek”.
Was it some sort of sick joke by police or some random member of the public? Mainstream media appears to have either missed it or ignored it.
The hideout is on a property on the edge of the Mt Lawson State Park, 8km from a location known as Thologolong, about 45km from Walwa, where the shooting was originally reported to have occurred.
According to Google’s own AI service, members of the public can edit maps “but these edits are generally treated as suggestions that require verification by Google’s algorithms or human moderators before becoming public”.
Google says public edits or suggesting changes can be done by anyone with a Google account, for instance, adding new businesses or locations.
Cairns News suggests that this “joke” is in very bad taste, given that Freeman died in a hail of 22 or so 30-calibre bullets apparently after he emerged from his Cosco container on the property last Sunday covered in a doonah.
He allegedly opened fire first from a police handgun he allegedly took from one of the two policemen he shot back in August last year when police came to his Porepunkah property with a search warrant related to “historic sexual abuse complaints”.
Veteran Melbourne crime reporter John Sylvester aka “Sly”, detailed Freeman’s final moments on 3AW Breakfast during the week, noting first that his Cosco container “home” had two new looking whirly-gigs on the roof, apparently to keep the container cool during the hot days.
“Rest assured police will be trying to find out who bought them and where and whether there is CCTV,” he said.
The owner of the property has been identified as Richard Sutherland, who reportedly contacted police after learning of the siege while in remote eastern Tasmanian village where he was living. He has not been charged.
A friend of Mr Sutherland told The Age he had no knowledge Freeman was on the land and was “not in any way sympathetic” to his beliefs and had left the property gate open earlier this year to allow fire crews access following nearby bushfires.
Police are now examining whether Freeman received assistance while on the run, with Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Mike Bush indicating it would have been difficult for him to reach or remain at the location without help.
Sylvester said “the assault team was made up of ground troops with 300 calibre semi-automatic rifles and snipers with .304 (calibre) long range guns” that can “comfortably” hit targets at 1.5km.
“Added to that there was a sniper on the police helicopter in a special platform that he can lay (on) outside the helicopter and shoot from there.”
Sylvester said the Bearcat military vehicle also on site had probably injected gas into the container after negotiations to flush Freeman out. When he emerged he fired off two shots but fire was then returned by eight officers.
Sylvester said police were given a tip that he might be up there in that general direction, although the Daily Mail claimed they were told by a neighbour that a bush fire in the area back in January started “just metres from the container where Freeman was hiding” and this brought the property to the attention of local firefighters.
However aerial photos of the property show no sign of recent fires near the white Cosco container or in the nearby bush.
The Daily Mail further claimed “it was little short of a miracle that he did not perish in the raging inferno” and he began backburning around the property “in a desperate bid to protect himself as the fire closed in”.
Fires in the area last January took a month to bring under control and over the entire fire season from October 2025, more than 436,000 hectares of land were burnt, including more than 1590 structures.

So given the tight restrictions on the ownership/ operation of such guns, how did he manage to get hold of the requisite ammo ?
As per norm, so many questions left begging
Back in early 1980s our cadet unit received one on one detailed instruction with Regular Army Corporals in the use of the venerable M16 assault rifle. It was an entire day but obviously a very abridged introduction for school aged attendees. But we were taught basic weapon strategies (i.e. what it took to kill versus merely partially or fully incapacitate, etc). Once we could demonstrate the ability to strip down and re-build the weapon we were allowed to shoot a full magazine. As someone who had never shot any firearm before, I am sure my astonished reaction was the same as most people’s (“…with a recoil like that, no wonder they turn people to mincemeat..)”. But anyway, it was made very clear to us that the use of the weapon in full automatic mode would completely obliterate your human target. Three separate shots in semi automatic mode would merely kill them. One (or two at the absolute most) would totally incapacitate them and they might possibly live (depending on where they were hit) and thus need to consume enemy resources to receive attention, etc).
My older brother subsequently joined the Army Reserve, shot a whole lot more hardware than the M16 and came away with much the same thing – the simplest premise was three shots from any assault rifle to kill, one to parry the threat. So when I heard that Dezi was shot so many times, I am afraid that the only conclusion I could come to is that he was deliberately killed and this was the intention. Even if he had been shot 10 times I might have given the police the benefit of the doubt, since I could imagine 5 people shooting him up to a couple of times, but not 20 (or more). To me it is exactly like those shows on TV that cover real life murders where the victim was either shot or knifed multiple times. They always say that stuff is “personal” as opposed to “professional”.
Not a realistic looking hideout for huge volumes of well equipped cops, it looks more like a video game scenario, try harder next time boys, “fail”
I was pretty sure he was taken out in the initial shootout. They just didn’t want to say.
The police do not operate under the umbrella of the Commonwealth of Australia or it’s non-corpoatised versions of it’s States, as was the case when Federation was created under Queen Victoria.
Now we are without Constitutional oversight, as the governments, both Federal and State, have been registered as Corporations, with Agencies not Departments under them, and the supposed laws they follow and make are the legal standings, not laws, that are under ancient British Shipping Corporations/Admiralty/Maritime Law which does not have jurisdiction on any landmasses, and never did.
Their only authority is on ships that are registered on their books, and only whilst in the high seas.
So now, Admiralty Courts falsely claiming authority, rule over us, and our parliaments and Federal and State Governments are just mere corporations posing as Government.
So these so called police are only security guards of corporations all of which were registered as businesses for profit in the District of Columbia, Washington, DC,US (not uSA), the City State that is also just a corporation that runs the Stock market, which has all been bankrupted by President Trump, had it’s values bought up by President Trump on behalf of the reinstalled Republic of the United states of America, and now owns Australia, since our treasonous Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam sold Australia holus bolus to that corporation and registered everything government here as it’s property. This has propbably happened to every Western country which became nations under the City of London, the Vatican City State, the Illuminati 13 banker families, WashingtonDC, and probably is why Canberra, ACT is not part of the Australian government, but is also a City State.
The DEEP STATE has been alive not just over the last 100 years, but is just a continuance of previous Freemasonry and other Secret Socirties that have run, planned, killed off, reorganised our world for their benefit for hundreds, maybe thousands of years.
These killer police are just pawns who work for evil minded people in power.

Freeman has been dead for months. It just wasn’t convenient that we knew. The rest is pantomime.
