CAIRNS News is making available the Trump administration’s special media conference to outline action led by Health Secretary RFK Jnr to find possible causes of the massive increase in autism spectrum disorders in American children. Boys are the worst affected cohort.
President Trump pointed out that a few decades ago, one in 10,000 children was diagnosed with autism. Now the figure is one in 31 or higher in some areas such as California where the number for boys is one in 12. More diagnosis and awareness is obviously a factor but the overall increase is staggering.
“So since 2000 autism rates have surged by much more than 400%,” said Trump. “Instead of attacking those who ask questions, everyone should be grateful for those trying to get the answers to this complex situation.”
Both Trump and RFK Jnr in particular, have come under fire from mainstream politicians, media and health bureaucrats for merely suggesting that vaccines are suspected of being a causal factor in autism.
Trump and RFK announced that the Health and Human Services Department was now issuing warnings against the use of Tylenol (or Paracetamol in Australia) for pain and fever control during pregnancy.
But Australian “medical authorities” quoted by the ABC have basically rejected the Trump and RFK’s warnings against Tylenol, pointing out that the Australian equivalent drug has an A rating, meaning it is “safe during pregnancy”.
The ABC also failed to even mention the topic of vaccines that Trump covered personally at the media conference.
This is hardly surprising, given that Australians who have experienced bad side effects from drugs and vaccines have been gaslit, shunned and sidelined by the same mainstream media and medical establishment.
In contrast, RFK Jnr and his department have listened to the testimonies of women who have dealt with autism, the voices rejected by every previous administration. Two mothers who had dealt with autism spectrum disorders in children appeared at the media conference.
Trump also advised against over-vaccinating of young children, and urged mothers to spread out, delay and separate vaccinations instead of the common practice of giving a child multiple shots in one visit. The three-in-one MMR shot should be separated, he said.
Trump said he had for a long time had questions about autism and vaccine safety. One of his own employees at Trump Tower suffered the death of her healthy boy after he was vaccinated.
