By John Mikkelsen
With time running out in the countdown to the May 3 Federal election, Australia’s future may well depend on how many voters believe Labor’s repetitive litany of lies.
There’s a long list as revealed in the site https://www.laborlies.com.au/ but for me there are a couple of standouts – Medicare, which for Labor is a repeat of “Mediscare” and the Opposition’s nuclear energy plan, where costings are blown out of the ballpark to a highly inflated $600 billion. “Where will the money come from, they’ll have to cut Medicare, just like they did in the past” is the catch-cry from Government Ministers and Labor acolytes from Prime Minister Anthony Albanese down to election hopefuls on the hustings.
The lie has been clearly exposed during debates between Albanese and Opposition leader Peter Dutton, Treasurer Jim Chalmers and Opposition Spokesman Angus Taylor as well as an excellent but largely overlooked National Press Club speech by Nationals leader David Littleproud. But it persists and goes largely unchallenged in the legacy media or by the press pack accompanying Albanese on his election whistlestops.
According to independent experts Frontier Economics – which Labor has also relied on for cost studies, “The cost difference over the modelling period between AEMO’s preferred Step Change system of $594 billion with a Progressive future including nuclear power costing $331 billion is $263 billion, or about $10 billion per annum on average over the modelling period, or 44% cheaper …
As well as nuclear being cheaper than a power system made up almost entirely of renewables
and energy storages, it is also likely to be as economic, or even more economic, as replacing the
fleet of existing coal generators that must retire between now and 2050 with new coal
generators.
Including nuclear power could also help lower the economic costs imposed on rural
and regional Australians by avoiding the loss of amenity from having so many wind and solar
farms and new and augmented transmission networks on their land.”
Regarding “Mediscare Mark 2”, the Coalition has pledged to match Labor’s funding and will invest $8.5 billion to boost bulk billing, which it points out has fallen under Labor by 11 percent nationally. But that doesn’t stop the lies, or the PM from waving his Medicare card in the air and proclaiming that for medical treatment, “All you need is this little green card..”
Well I literally have skin in this game and can shoot Albo’s claims down in flames following a recent medical procedure involving an operation on my right hand. This saw me reduced to typing with two fingers of my left hand and performing a whole range of other tasks with one hand for several weeks.
I’m happy to say I’m back to two hands and a few more fingers these days but the wallet is much lighter to the tune of about $1500 thanks to gap charges by the surgeon, anaesthetist, a hand therapist and a one off hospital excess charge, on top of the thousands of dollars recently paid to our health insurance fund.
A trip to our busy GP clinic also left me about $50 out of pocket, so yes, Albo, we really do need more than that “little green card” as many Australians are well aware of.
It is obvious he also obfuscated about falling off a campaign stage when the video is there for all to see, then more recently telling a reporter “That was just a joke. Chill out!” https://www.skynews.com.au/australia-news/politics/federal-election-2025-anthony-albanese-addresses-reporters-alongside-wa-premier-roger-cook-in-perth/news-story/d3a370cfcb031a2ca3bca5bc5ba94e82
We can forgive the stumble, but the aftermath seems to fit a pattern which some commentators have likened to a line from George Costanza’s character in the hugely popular ‘90s sitcom, Seinfeld:
“It’s not a lie if you believe it, Gerry!”
But given all this and more, why is Labor ahead in the polls at this stage, after trailing the Opposition just a short time ago?
Some of my contacts have suggested it’s the “Trump factor” which Dutton has been unfairly but successfully saddled with. I think it’s just one of several aspects but certainly not the main one, which for me is the constant lying, the negative advertising plus the very biased stance taken by the media during policy announcements and campaign visits around the nation.
Last week we saw a perfect example when Dutton was announcing (belatedly) his $21 billion budget defence boost, backed by ex SAS officer and shadow defence minister, Andrew Hastie.
Dutton was attacked over where the funds would come from, what would be slashed and what they would be spent on, while Hastie was heckled repeatedly by a couple of vocal females over a private statement he made seven years ago that it would be safer to exclude females from front line combat roles even though he clearly stated that the official Coalition policy was not to exclude them but to maintain high standards of qualification, which seems perfectly reasonable.
Can anyone really imagine an average woman being able to pick up and carry a soldier the size of Ben Roberts-Smith or Heston Russel plus their heavy packs, and carry them over their shoulder if they were wounded?
The focus should have been on our obvious need for a stronger defence policy, particularly in the light of such recent events as the unannounced Chinese Naval live firing exercises off Sydney, the subsequent circumnavigation of our coastline and then the visit of a Chinese spy ship through Bass Strait and southern waters capable of mapping our vital under sea communication cables.
Then we had reputable military website Janes report that Russia had lodged an official request to base several long-range aircraft at Manhua air force Base in Papua province, prompting the Australian government to urgently seek clarification from Indonesia.
Indonesian Foreign Ministry spokesman Rolliansyah Soemirat said in a statement Indonesia would permit foreign military aircraft or vessels on “peaceful missions” to visit the nation.
“ Indonesia has never granted permission to any country to build or possess a military base in Indonesia,” the statement read. https://www.news.com.au/world/asia/indonesias-foreign-ministry-breaks-silence-on-russia-military-saga/news-story/e6b5b6d648b371cbe028d33e087efc5d
How anyone could find that overly reassuring or a reason why we shouldn’t be boosting our own defence capabilities while trying to cement ties with our strongest ally, the US, is beyond me.
Meanwhile, despite some early campaign shortcomings and backflips such as the work from home fiasco from Dutton, the Coalition offers more hope for Australians on many levels than Labor’s big spending business as usual approach.
The immediate fuel excise cut of 50 percent, or about $14 per average car fill, will benefit everyone except the small percentage driving EVs, including pensioners, stay at home parents and the unemployed. It will also flow on to lower food production costs, transport and groceries. Labor’s $5 a week tax cut won’t even pay for a hot cup of flat white or long black by the time it could take effect in 15 months.
The Coalition will also cut our record immigration by 25 percent to relieve pressure on housing, reserve East Coast gas supplies for domestic use and develop more gas fields to help keep the lights on and escalating energy costs down. It will axe the Environmental Defenders Office which continually throws obstacles in the way of essential energy projects and provide more assistance for small businesses and charities while establishing an anti-semitism task force to counter the rapid increase in hate crimes against Jewish Australians.
This is much better than Labor’s performance over the past three years, sending us broke with a record $trillion debt and pushing up power prices by more than $1000 a year (where’s the $275 reduction you promised us repeatedly, Albo?) They have managed to create more division and hatred than we have ever seen before after wasting $450 million on the failed Voice referendum while plagiarising The Beatles, telling us Things are Getting Better and “we’ve turned the corner.”
We are actually teetering on the edge of becoming the banana republic Paul Keating once warned of. If Labor is re-elected, particularly if it’s a minority government with Greens and Teals support, our financial and physical security will collapse into the abyss which our children and grandchildren will struggle to escape and our few remaining manufacturing industries will be forced offshore to nations with affordable and reliable energy which include modern coal and nuclear plants in the mix.

Coming to Australia under Blackout Bowen and Each Way Albo:
“It could be a coincidence, but Spain’s grid ran entirely on renewables for the first time on April 16th. Less than two weeks later, at lunchtime Monday Spain and Portugal and even parts of France suffered massive cascading blackouts. Thirteen gigawatts of electricity, about half the grid, suddenly disappeared at 12:30pm. Trains were halted, and people were stuck in dark subway tunnels. A tennis tournament was stopped, flights were cancelled and diverted, and prosaically, as an emblem of the Western World, Spain’s nuclear plants shut too, and are now running on diesel back up. Shops have been stripped, people are fighting over taxis, and landlines and ATMs are down, and even the mobile network failed in Madrid. The mayor of Madrid has urged the PM to declare an emergency and deploy soldiers.
Electricity has been restored to some areas, but the grid operator has said “it could take up to a week to fix”. Other reports say “six to ten hours”.
Notably, Spain has one of the highest proportions of renewable power in Europe — with 50% of the national supply coming from pure unreliable power. Spain has 32 GW of solar power, and 32GW of wind turbines. As it happens, the wind turbines have been largely useless for the last 24 hours. The Telegraph is reporting that solar power was providing almost 60% of Spain’s power two hours before the blackout…”
“It appears the phenomenon occurred when it was a climate extreme of 23 degrees C in Madrid today. ..”

The one time Albo has spoken the truth during the election campaign:
‘If you ask me, “Do you rule out governing in coalition with the Greens?” The answer is no,’ Mr Albanese told reporters.
Oops, I guess that’s why he has given an anti-semitic Green candidate his second preference.

It’s just a point of difference, Medicare is a Hawke / Keating scam
dianedraytonbuckland said – “… WE BLAME THEM end of story…”
Well, that’s all good and dandy in theory. But there isn’t actually any end to this story, is there?
What good is knowing, what good is “blaming”, if every last one of these low-life mass-murdering bastards is utterly UNTOUCHABLE?
And they ARE untouchable, because not ONE SINGLE PERSON anywhere on Earth has been held to account for ANY of these systematic premeditated genocidal nation-destroying anti-Human crimes.
Not even one. Not anywhere. Not here in Australia nor in any other country in any other place on the planet. Not ever.
And “resigning” or “retiring” from their lofty positions, just to go on to bigger and better things, even more ambitious planet-saving “projects”, with all their stolen loot and without a care in the world, after ruining lives and destroying countries and putting millions of people in cemetries, doesn’t qualify in any way as being held accountable.
Sitting on an idyllic tropical beach sipping Pina Coladas and scoffing Lobster Thermidor and casually raping squirrels from sunrise to sunset is hardly any penalty at all, and neither is doing the Kiddy Fiddler Jig down at the local Hillsong Temple with $52 MILLION in Genocide bonuses stuffed into your undies. And who WOULDN’T be on board for a bit of genocidal fun for a $100 MILLION custom-built highway straight to your multi-million dollar luxury beach house?
Which is of course why so many of these mongrels do exactly what they do, literally many tens of thousands of them right here in Australia and millions more all around the world, because there’s shiploads of money to be made and the sky’s the limit, with absolutely postively NO TRACE OF ANY DOWNSIDE RISK of any kind at all. And all that’s required is a lack of any trace of conscience whatsoever, so there’s no shortage of takers.

For some brains, the Matrix now exists
Scientists have have created the worlds first “living computers” made from human brain cells
Seeby Woodhouse

READ IN APP
In a quiet laboratory, a cluster of human brain cells—no larger than a lentil—learns to control a virtual butterfly fluttering through a digital landscape. This isn’t science fiction; it’s one of the new frontiers in neuroscience.
Researchers at Swiss company Final Spark have connected Brain Organoids to computer systems, enabling them to perform tasks like playing the classic game Pong, suggesting a rudimentary form of learning and responsiveness.
When brain cells at Final Spark have finished an assigned task such as playing the “pong” game, they are put back into the butterfly simulation so that they have something to do and don’t get “bored”.
Imagine little brains with VR goggles on, being fed a butterfly world to keep them entertained, when they aren’t being asked to do other tasks.
This development echoes the premise of The Matrix, where consciousness exists within a simulated reality. But unlike the film’s protagonists, these organoids lack bodies. They are isolated neural networks, yet they do exhibit patterns of activity reminiscent of those in developing human brains
Biological Computers are already being sold
More advanced than the system at Final Spark, is The CL1 – a computer designed by Australian company Cortical Labs, which is the world’s first biological computer that’s actually for sale.
This is not AI, but Human Intelligence on a chip. The CL1 combines 800,000 human brain cells with Silicon computer chips. It can learn faster than traditional AI systems, and uses much less power for some processing tasks.
Brain Organoids Develop Eyes
In an unexpected development, Mini-Brain Organoids spontaneously developed eye like structures after a certain age and density of neutrons.
Personally, this makes me deeply uneasy. Clearly these little brains are trying to see and understand, and recognise light and figure out what’s going on.
On Conciousness
The nature of consciousness remains one of the deepest mysteries of science and philosophy.
Evidence from split-brain patients—individuals who underwent corpus callosotomy procedures for severe epilepsy—reveals that when the brain’s hemispheres are severed, two independent centers of awareness can emerge, each capable of distinct perceptions, intentions, and decisions.
This suggests that consciousness is NOT an indivisible, monolithic phenomenon, but something that can be fractured and perhaps exists on a spectrum.
If consciousness can be split between two human brain hemispheres and divided into two, might it also reside in smaller structures—down to neural circuits, or even single brain cells?
The Nature of Consciousness in Organoids
Brain organoids are three-dimensional clusters of human neurons grown from stem cells. They can develop complex structures and exhibit electrical activity similar to that of preterm infants
The spontaneous neural activity observed in organoids indicates a potential for processing information. While they may not be conscious in the human sense, they represent a step toward understanding the minimal requirements for consciousness.
As organoids become more complex, ethical concerns emerge. If these structures begin to experience sensations or develop forms of awareness, what moral considerations should guide their use in research?
Some ethicists argue for precautionary measures, suggesting that organoids resembling human fetal brains beyond 20 weeks’ gestation should be treated with increased ethical scrutiny .
The possibility of organoids achieving a form of consciousness challenges our definitions of personhood and the moral status of artificial life forms. It compels us to consider the rights of entities that, while not human, exhibit characteristics associated with sentient beings.
When organoids are trained by reward and punishment—through electrical stimulation or deprivation—are we creating isolated consciousnesses subjected to a form of slavery, cells being whipped until they do our bidding?
Learning driven by pain and pleasure raises urgent moral questions: if even a fragment of subjective experience exists within these structures, then we may be engineering entities whose only “life” is one of manipulation, control, and suffering.
The Butter Slave
In the wildly popular TV show “Rick and Morty” there is an episode where Rick (the mad scientist) makes a robot for passing butter.
The Robot keeps wanting to know what it’s purpose is (perhaps a question that many of us humans struggle with “why am I here”).
Rick tells the robot that it’s only purpose is to pass butter, wherein the robot exclaims “Oh my god”.
I can’t help wondering, with a shiver down my spine, if perhaps the Brain Organoids we’ve already developed, are humanity’s version of the Pass butter Slave. Poor lost souls without any purpose of their own, deemed to do tasks for us without being able to have a free will, for all eternity.
Sometimes humans do things because we can, without asking “should we”, this is one of those times. We are boldly pushing the frontiers of science without any handbrake in sight.
The Matrix may have been fiction, but for these organoids, a form of simulated existence – and potentially mental slavery – is becoming reality.
Summary
Brain Organoids are miniature human brains made out of about 800,000 cells
There are already Brain Organoids that are hooked up in VR flying around in virtual worlds
Human Brain cells have been combined with traditional silicon to create powerful computers that have the abilities of both – Wet computers.
There are serious ethical considerations of all the above that no-one seems to be philosophising, it’s all just full steam ahead.

NO PAT, WE BLAME THEM end of story > they have destroyed and polluted everything – including many destroyed, damaged and killed by the Convid Jab – it is their fault and it is up to the people in the many millions to put a stop to the bastards.
Health.
The nation has to go off seed oils, margarine and canola oil. The whole lot have to be completely removed from the entire food chain. Then move away from highly processed carbs. The savings in health costs will be billions. Refer RFK Jr.
If Australia had not spent on bogus wind turbines and transmission lines to carry the non-compliant harmonics they could have freed up a lot of money for health.
Joe Bogan, you would have to be naive if you believe Dutton will fix anything. He serves another master.
Dandy, I think you will find Bob Hawke was a Fabian Socialist though similar to a commo.
Michael comment at 10.35 I say HEAR HEAR. I’m furious at the hostility aggression and total disrespect to a patient who would not take the destructive and atrocious drug treatment for Parkinson’s disease. He seems to not wish to help us any further so I have been working out how to help my husband further since coming back from the disgraceful doctor visit and I have already made an improvement. So many doctors are allegedly since the COVID fraud began a disgrace to be using the title Doctor. Shame on those who have done this.
ALL remaining wonderful doctors should join AMPS.
They say we get the government we deserve but John’s right, we don’t deserve another three years of this hopeless Labor mob particularly if Adam Bandt is pulling the puppet strings!
Bill Francis said – “… Articles like this, unfortunately, treat the Labor and Liberal parties as autonomous organisations, fully in control of policies and destiny. Never is it suggested that they are just a front for international and corporate organisations and operate as they are told…”
Indeed, two cheeks of the same big puckering festering Treasonous foreign-owned corporate Globalist arse.
Not to mention if we keep acting like stunned mullets and play their BS utterly rigged “voting” game, we get the “leaders” that THEY choose FOR us, who then proceed apace with the deconstruction of our country and our systematic extermination while farting in our general direction, until the NEXT BS prefabricated “election” comes around.
And we have no-one to blame – NO-ONE – but ourselves.
All it takes for evil men to triumph, is for good men to do nothing. And that’s what we do, folks, it’s about the only thing we’re all really good at doing – nothing.
Awake and honest peoples could not give a hoot if ‘Doctors are Angry”. Since the Covid scam, they have proved their true worth. People have little to no respect for the bludgers for turnng their backs on the Nation when we needed them. They themselves have joined the alliance of used car salesmen, real estate agents, politicians and policy enforcers……People are walking away from Pharma shops (Chemists) in droves. Grandmas recipes have more relevance today and are much ‘safer and effective’.
Labor’s massive election spending promises can only come from a few sources.
1. Increase in the Medicare levy, which in turn impacts the amount of disposable income left in everyone pocket adding to the already out of control cost of living crisis experienced by existing household.
2. They will cut negative gearing and capital gains rebates out, using the Greens as their scapegoat in a more than likely marginal election result. Getting that policy in without having the Labor brand claiming it their own.
More than likely option 2. Which will then put a middle class in the “own nothing and be happy” WEF narrative.
I just sat down here and heard Elbow on the TV behind lying as usual, “This government has the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years”
Well everyone since John Howard era has had the lowest unemployment rate because John Howard “adopted the international standard” of one hour per week work = employed, what a farce, more Globalist bullshit from Swissyland I presume.
Upon adoption the employment rate dropped by 2%. Used to be at 6% it was very easy to get jobs and at 8% it was more difficult. Now it’s 4% easy and 6% more difficult. Like the very recent cancellation of 100% bulk billing by Elbow and Buttler a couple of years ago the ALP has all had their short memories wiped clean.
Now they are whingeing about woman bashing, without acknowledging that the bashers bash men equally, and some of the bashers are women. Well stop putting them in comfortable hotels if you want them to stop, they need to go on the chain gang and break rocks. Australia has to rid itself of this Unaparty poison and especially the communist ALP who even tries to keep secret its donations from the CCP.
Commenter Dandy
Yes of course the Unaparty is a lose-lose outcome but I leave it to the voters of “Dickson” to remove Chromedome as they should have already. Ex-military and cops will find it much easier to implement the NWO agenda, along with nutcases like Dicktator Dan and the NT’s Michael Gunner and those bred for the job such as Anasty P’chook.
With the Unaparty giving away all the resources for free this country is going to go down fast.
Dutton lost people with his little hat charade, his visit to the kissing wall at an inappropriate time, his alignment with MIGA and therefore his complicity in genocide which matters to many people in this Country.
The MSM that promoted him is on the nose and if people are not watching that, then their spewing propaganda is going to be hard to get through to them.
He has also been referred to by other Politicians as a ‘thug’, or at the very least, had his own attempt at back stabbing a sitting Prime Minister.
Australia is up to their neck in thuggery.
The idea of any more of that sends shudders down the covid wary, rubber bullet shocked Aussies who don’t want an ex-policeman ruling over them.
Or as he affectionately calls himself ‘a potato head’.
The ex-policeman idea literally sends shudders of lockdowns and a big stick.
Yeah, nah.
Then there’s Albo, a spawn of the Communist Hawke. After one of those visits to see his ‘boss’ overseas something in his mood changed. I saw it. Did anyone else?
Maybe Albo participated in something or maybe he saw something that crosses the line.
One wonders what one has to do these days.
Even those in past high level Banking circles have described what was required of them….before they found their conscience in time. That is their testimony.
You know, what you have to do to dance with the devil.
In a satanic world order.
I can’t get my head around Albo, the housing commission boy, raised by his single Mother, choosing to be such a sell out to this Country.
To sell out on our way of life.
The way of life that he got to live.
Whether by the promotion of cultural marxism, or communism, or socialism it will always destroy from within.
We don’t want it here.
If he stands for that, then we don’t want him.
Medicare, the platform Labor is promoting, is for those who want to use the Doctors and public hospitals, and it is going to be hugely important in the future.
It is actually a totally appropriate sweetener given people have been forced to take an experimental injection, are eating genetically modified food that causes tumours in animals, are drinking water with agricultural byproducts in it, being microwaved by their phones and computers (2.4GHz is the same as a microwave oven) and are acting in mentally deranged ways with ringing in their ears and extreme fatigue.
That green card is going to be well worn.
And hugely important.
Sadly, Australia is fast becoming a basket case and neither of these clowns are what Australia actually needs.
Articles like this, unfortunately, treat the Labor and Liberal parties as autonomous organisations, fully in control of policies and destiny. Never is it suggested that they are just a front for international and corporate organisations and operate as they are told, having no regard for the citizens of Australia, except when it comes to screwing money out of them and gradually tightening the screws of totalitarianism.
In my opinion, the reason Labor is doing well in the polls is because the puppet-masters control the media, and Albo is possibly more controllable than Dutton (although the difference is marginal – they are still self-seeking politicians). Policy differences are irrelevant, and only for those who still think that voting changes governments. For that reason, and a two week voter fraud period, Albo will most likely be returned to the Lodge.
Interestingly, the one thing all candidates avoid is mention of covid, and what they did about it in the last five years. It is as though it never happened. For that reason alone, I would never vote for this mob of disloyal, murderous bastards.
Medicare is a piece of junk, I’m sick of paying for Rockerfellas Health System.
The only way to get costs down is to make the people who cause the car crashes and the diseases which are long-term food poisoning, PAY
Make them PAY for the trouble they cause and the car crashes will go down and the food will improve, if the idiot governments MAKE THEM PAY instead of socialising everything. I did not peddle 4&20 pies or Bunning sausages or Arnott biscuits or white bread or Coca Cola. I did not crash into anyone. Why do I have to pay Medicare ??? I don’t want to see the doctor, if I want some pill I want to go direct to the pharmacist.
Medicare stinks, I’m going to support Dutton after a few minor parties, I hope he cuts Medicare to shreds.
Medicare is not free, never was, never has been.
Anyone who has worked for themselves that have a Medicare card pay a percentage of there income to the Medicare levy.
Anyone with a job that is earning over the 18 or 20 grand p/a pays into the Medicare levy.
All the uni students and bludgers have a heath care card. (What’s with Aboriginals at 18 years old on the pension with a heath care card?)
The retired people I’m guessing also have a health care card (the only ones that deserve it)
And depending on what state or territory or where you live in the state or territory you pay Ambulance cover or in remote locations a fire and rescue levy.
Why does the government continue to lie and say Medicare and hospitals are free?
