Introduction
Israel has launched an invasion (October 7, 2023) of the Gaza Strip.
As outlined by Felicity Arbuthnot with foresight 10 years ago in a December, 30 2013 article:

In the current context, Israel’s “All Goes to Plan” option consists in bypassing Palestine and “Wiping Gaza off the Map”, AS WELL AS CONFISCATING ALL GAZA’S MARITIME OFFSHORE GAS RESERVES, WORTH BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
The ultimate objective is not only to exclude Palestinians from their homeland, it consists in confiscating the multi-billion dollar Gaza offshore Natural Gas reserves, namely those pertaining to the BG (BG Group) in 1999, as well the Levant discoveries of 2013.
Update. Israel’s Secret Intelligence Memorandum
An official “secret” memorandum authored by Israel’s Ministry of Intelligence “is recommending the forcible and permanent transfer of the Gaza Strip’s 2.2 million Palestinian residents to Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula”, namely to a refugee camp in Egyptian territory. There are indications of Israel-Egypt negotiations as well as consultations with the U.S.
The 10-page document, dated Oct. 13, 2023, bears the logo of the Intelligence Ministry … assesses three options regarding the future of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip … It recommends a full population transfer as its preferred course of action. … The document, whose authenticity was confirmed by the ministry, has been translated into English in full here on +972. What horrible deaths those drones, especially the phosphorous ones, are inflicting on humans.

Lancaster must be the luckiest man as few escape drone attacks in an open truck. Apparently drones have replaced artillery as the major cause of death for Russian soldiers now at 75%. There are few effective options against then as illustrated by both sides now putting up anti-drone netting corridors on important routes with netting ‘tunnels’ the entire route. FPVs are evolving now to an almost complete autonomy one day soon, its just AI machine targeting in the final approach now to allow the drone to hold its target when jammed (they say). They have an extra camera in front for that. FPVs now make medical retrievals a near impossibility as repurposed farming drones hover above their victims at 450 metres with a crate full of grenades to drop. Ploughs into swords. As the effective range of a grenade is about fifteen meters there is nowhere to seek cover and usually no warning. Trenches or fox holes just concentrate or funnel the shrapnel blast. ‘Wounded’ often results in a fresh grenade on the now typically immobilised soldier almost every time. Alternatively those soldiers crippled by such close blasts and not finished off are often recorded putting their AKs to their mouth for quick release, when able. The worst FPV variant is the WP drone which slowly flies up and down enemy trench lines showering those beneath in burning White Prosperous which then cannot be extinguished and will burn through flesh and bone unless that section of the body is ‘removed’. Kamikaze drones are used a in antipersonnel/ anti-tank roles and are designed to detonate on contact. Thermal vision at night allows for individual targeting and almost certain death as the grenade removes a limb or blast a hole in its hapless victims. Even the tanks now are enmeshed in attached mesh boxes to shield them as anti tank FPV RPG warheads are twice as lethal due to their accuracy and new long range ‘piloted’ approach/reach. Thin fibre optic cable trailing behind mean no jamming works. Prototypes of UGVs or ground bots are now entering the fray as remote highly mobile armed ground attack vehicles. The saddest thing is FPVs treat everybody the same and so a grizzled veteran has equally no chance as a new recruit. All soldiers have become just more grist for this most carnal and bloody mill of modern warfare.
At the current attrition rate complete AI battle control and fighting may become more and more necessary and so the very real possibility of a runaway endless terminator type of war between the super powers could spark and theoretically never reach its end as both AI’s’ ‘evolve’. Oz is so out of its league now in every way in this new type of warfare we should really never have ‘played’ at all. Now Ukraine has limited (some Aussie) artillery rounds left they have replaced it with FPV drones which are now being produced in extremely large amounts, Russia is also producing similar figures. ‘Ukrainian producers were delivering about 20,000 of the dish-plate-sized quadcopters a month at the start of 2024, but increased investment and better-organized supply chains and manufacturing processes spiked output to 200,000 aircraft a month in January 2025, Havryliuk said.’
