I am alarmed with the direction superannuation in Australia has gone. With $3.5 trillion in super funds being influenced by unions, these funds are increasingly being used for social engineering and political purposes. Millions of dollars has been donated to the Labor Party to support their renewable energy agenda and other Labor policies.
Some funds have even leveraged their shareholdings to seek board positions at companies like Origin Energy, aiming to influence corporate decision-making. It’s startling to see super funds involved in social engineering rather than focusing solely on member benefits. The ALP-linked industry funds are now acting as fundraisers for the ALP, having contributed $13 million dollars of members’ money to the party in the lead-up to the last election.
I wonder how the members feel about their futures being stolen like this?
Superannuation funds being used by any political party to pump up their ability to win office is nothing but THEFT. A major crime, which these days appears to be rampant and acceptable. The question needs to be asked, who and how is this money being released into the hands of the union or political party. Funds from workers’ pay is supposedly paid directly into the worker’s fund of choice.
Super funds are there to add wealth to retired age people the ability to enjoy their later years. No money from these funds should be released except to add value to the amount “invested” by the worker.
The whole idea of superannuation is that it would be pilfered and exploited / manipulated, that’s why it’s compulsory. The fund managers get votes on the company boards so they can all get their mates on. Thanks to “equal opportunity” they can get their girlfriends on too.
If you leave your money in super look what happens, there is inflation and the value of your super goes down to half. No wonder Keating was so keen to “break the back of inflation” by causing a massive recession. There’s a treasurer who knew exactly what was going on though he wouldn’t tell the public of course.
It’s one of these big unnecessary accounting exercises the government loves so much, an expensive and boring waste of time for the rest of us.
Meanwhile we have a treasurer now whose chief virtue is that he knows nuffink and so far has learned very little, he is simply selling his product, which he doesn’t even understand, if he did he would be more shifty looking like the others, give him time.

Your sentiment is on the money IMO, with the caveat that Bosi’s Australia One has similar objectives, except that while he wants to dismantle the existing rotten edifice, he’s focused on enabling Australians to build something NEW for Australia rather than just regurgitating the original scheme.
And we might argue that Commo John is right in there with his own efforts to catalyse the obstruction and removal of the hostile foreign corporate occupation of our country.
In any case, whatever those few assorted patriots seem to be accomplishing, it’s been taking a LONG time to gain any tangible traction, which is a worry because our genocidal adversaries are LEGION, they never sleep and they’ve been very busy indeed.

This man is doing some great noble work however, him and every other in that evil system are simply adding legitimacy to the current corrupt system which has usurped the true system that the people voted for back in 1901. I don’t hear him talk about the corrupt system that he is a part of?
There is only one man trying to bring back the genuine article and that is Rod Culleton. The rest are simply just hangers on with ulterior motives and operating within the Satanic system that enslaves the people.
The current system must be demolished, and the old system brought back, that should be the agenda on the mind of every single one of these players but however, that is not what they are doing, instead they bring up distractions for the zombies to masticate on.
