We are seeing what happened to Argentina a 100 years of corruption and bad management and sounds a bit formilour to what is happing here I suppose the Argentineans thought well when nothing to lose give anything a go when you are at the bottom of the well the only way out is up.
For the record, I support the idea of a strike.
But one person running a strike is the formula for defeat. Organising a strike involves reaching every conceivable participant BEFORE the strike commences. It requires a plethora of prioritised targets; a communication system with a backup; clear objectives leading to a community-accepted goal; funding; publicity, which is critical.
It also needs addditional organisational support. Unions are the natural choice but they are now run by the enemy. It will require posters and slogans that are well thought-out and can be caught and understood on the TV News. It will require several marches to gain public support and attention. When the police attack, there needs to be a credible defence strategy. temember, they will be out to kill this time and many will be foregn mercenaries. So helmets, gas masks, protective gear, gloves, and steel-capped boots.
Somehow, I don’t see John Wilson handling all these functions. He thinks democracy is the court jury system, so if he gets interviewed by the media they will do a Hanson on him. He needs helpers, of at least the callibre of ZZZ, Ron, Dr, Mick, Joe Bogan, and the rest of the hard-core intellects that appear here from time to time. Others will volunteer when you look like you are for real.
