This Cape York property was taken over by Australian Wildlife Conservancy 15 years ago. Then there was almost no regrowth behind the gates. This photo is two years year old and the regrowth has appeared since the cattle were removed and the hotter fires disappeared. This organisation controls 13 million ha of former cattle grazing country nation-wide. What will it be like in another 20 years?
By Jim O’Toole
The only honest Great Barrier Reef scientist in Australia Dr Peter Ridd (above), was kicked out of James Cook University for exposing false claims by fellow researchers that the reef is in poor health. Their motive was to grab more federal grant money for a problem that did not exist.
Here Dr Ridd exposes the Labor/Greens myth that Australia must plant millions of trees and that ‘climate change’ is destroying the planet because CO2 levels are too high.
There are far more trees covering Australia now than in 1770, 1970 and 2000. Cape York Peninsula is a perfect example of vegetation thickening. Regrowth woody species including black wattle, ti-tree, quinine, bloodwood and gums now cover 30 per cent of once open grasslands on Cape York north of the 16th Parallel.
Aboriginal elders have taken our contributors to various Cape York locations and after listening to the local tribes and speaking to local pastoralists there is no doubt much of the Peninsula has been overrun by woody regrowth in just 50 years, partly due to the absence of the Aboriginal firestick.
The Gillard federal Labor government 12 years ago introduced carbon credit burning for woodlands which has contributed to vast areas of thickening in Australia because of ‘cool fire’ burning ideology. This thickening has reduced stock carrying capacity dramatically which in return reduces the value of the property and the debt to equity ratio which allows banks to foreclose on hapless landowners.
Under the carbon scheme regulations, burning is allowed up to July 31 which should produce cooler fires and land holders are then able to claim a set tonnage rate of CO2 per hectare of cool burn. The tonnage is sold on the world market to multinational corporations wanting to offset their CO2 emissions. The land holder of broad acre property receives this amount sometimes up to $500,000 or more if a large area has been burnt before July 31.
If there are any fires on the same property after the qualifying date the calculated CO2 tonnage is deducted from any credit for that year. It is the later, hotter fires which kill the unwanted regrowth. Cooler fires propagate thickening.
Only the Labor, Liberal, Greens triumvirate could devise a scam like this.
Hope not it seems to be a rain event we have had several times in recent history. Ed
I can’t help but wonder if Jasper was engineered as payback for CN’s forthright views. As was the Acapulco cyclone for Jeff Berwick. Forecast to be Cat 1 and escalated to 5…

One reason for the takeover by the globullist powers in Australia and over Australians,”
Thanks for the info, I agree.
I believe that “if” we survive the man made mess we are in; the man made religions will wither away, they will have no relevance. Because we will have woken up – part of the the awakening.
No man made corporate, forced, coerced, scamming, fraudulent, demigod run religions.
Instead, free thinking spiritual contact, without the need of any control, power. dictates, mandates, and the like.
Was that why many very special entities have visited many parts of this earth, over thousands of years?
To have us move away from the control of the few, and to take personal physical and spiritual responsibility and control of our own health and safety.
And how we interact with other people and nature, and the earth that we live on?
To have good, honest, caring. do no harm spiritual values, does not require
(religious) obedience to man made-up control mechanisms.
Even a free thInking simple minded person such as myself, knows that.
Cheers.
@Ron
One reason for the takeover by the globullist powers in Australia and over Australians, must be laid at the feet of Australian RCC politicians. These politicians who follow canon law assent to the supremacy of the RCC. They must assent also to the The Syllabus of Errors which from the website newadvent.org/cathen/14368b.htm descibes the binding power of the Syllabus upon Roman Catholics – “All Catholics, therefore, are bound to accept the Syllabus. Exteriorly they may neither in word nor in writing oppose its contents; they must also assent to it interiorly.”
The Syllabus of Errors and its condemnations made by the popes show the RCC to be monarchial absolutism that denies freedom of religion, freedom of the press, and freedom of secular government to operate. For example, the Syllabus of Errors *No. 27, which is condemned by the popes, states “The sacred ministers of the Church and the Roman pontiff are to be absolutely excluded from every charge and dominion over temporal affairs.” In other words, the RCC says it holds every charge and dominion over temporal affairs. *Error 42, which is condemned by popes, states “In the case of conflicting laws enacted by the two powers, the civil law prevails.” Reverse this, and the popes say their power prevails over civil law. *Error 54, condemned, states “Kings and princes are not only exempt from the jurisdiction of the Church, but are superior to the Church in deciding questions of jurisdiction.” In other words, national jurisdiction is condemned by the popes. *Error 55, condemned, states “The Church ought to be separated from the State, and the State from the Church.” The RCC does not believe in separation of church and state. *Error 79, condemned, states “Moreover, it is false that the civil liberty of every form of worship, and the full power, given to all, of overtly and publicly manifesting any opinions whatsoever and thoughts, conduce more easily to corrupt the morals and minds of the people, and to propagate the pest of indifferentism.” The popes condemn civil liberty of opinion and thoughts. The controlling, false, antichrist spirit of the RCC and its most un-infallible popes walk in league with the UNO and carry it forward in its quest for One World government.
Even everyday RCCs are not aware of this Syllabus.
The Tolga scrub is an excellent example of what used to be the entire landscape of the Atherton Tablelands before white colonization .
Look down the east coastline of Australia to look at the millions of miles of sugar cane paddocks that replaced heavily timbered area that had been felled to support the mercantile interests of Crown revenue raisers .
By the way ,what actual proof is there that the blackfellas burnt grasslands in their hunt of Kangaroo’s and Emu’s because if there is no grass there wouldn’t be any feed for creatures to want to be there ?
We will look for this book and give him a copy. Ed
Thanks Neville but we were referring to much larger areas than the Tolga scrub. Ed
They gave you a small glimpse but kept this hidden from you though…

Totally agree.
Thanks for your many very good articles and comments on CN.
My parents were very serious when they said we lived in the “lucky country”.
I believed them, compared to most other countries, we had plenty of reasons to believe that we were lucky to live here.
Quite a different story today.
Year after year our luck is quickly running out. Why?
Because we are now the “lackey country”
Most of our demise/downfall has taken place over just one generation.
“We” let it happen. We continue to let it happen.
Proud Australians – proud of what?
I have noticed that, since 2019, the trees in my rural area have increased dramatically! So much so, that I have had to cut many saplings that shot up during the lockdowns as well as the deliberately increased rainfall the “gov’t” decided we were going to have during that time to keep us all indoors. The locals applauded me for doing so, frightened to do so themselves knowing full well they and their families will be killed in the fires to come. The local department (council) will not conduct any burn-offs at any time of the year (and also refuse any landholder from doing burn-offs on their OWN property!), and the grass is left for the summer heat to turn into a fire-hazard mulch, so far about one and half – two feet deep. They also have forcefully stopped any animals from using the stock routes which has quadrupled the foliage, both trees and grasses which were deliberately designed for the animals to eat every year. We dread when the fires will arrive – and they will. Many people will die here as there are only a couple of ways out of this area – as the local department is well aware. This has been fully-planned – and I would also suggest that the insurance companies also applaud this nefarious move as people who do survive try to make a “claim” they will be told that their homes were within 100m of “bushland” and so, NO payout at all. Well done to Blackrock and Vanguard!! NOT!
Peter and Jim,
What you have written and stated is I beleive correct. Just look at the early pictures ( paintings ) pf Brisbane ( Moreton Bay ) the ridges were carrying very little timber.
Hence the name of ONE TREE Hill a well known landmark in Brisbane, now carrying plenty of trees/timber .

You will have our senate infiltrating Klaus Swab graduate Sarah Hanson-Young in tears again
Labor and the Greens are made up of the teacher’s pets/crawler types we all shared classrooms with at school. They have below level intelligence but above average pretence which easily fooled their teachers who, let’s face it, have average intelligence, at best.
They have no creativity so couldn’t get a trade, even if they wanted to, so target the quadrivium for morons: bureaucracy/government/media/law. There they are told what to do, how to think and further develop their bullying: requisite skills for carrying out the orders of others like fellow Fabians amongst the City of London Crown apparatus that has a firm grip on this degenerate world.
As a master irony, a senior Fabian and someone considered, it is written, to be one of the biggest c-nts to ever draw oxygen on this planet, Earl Russell, is quoted as saying: The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics (Labor/Green et al) are always so certain of themselves, and wise people so full of doubts.
You definitely can’t make this sh1t up.
As for the Liberals and C-ntry party lot – First XV, First XI, Prefects. In other words what the Labor/Green lot wanted but didn’t have the parents to make it happen.
And people still vote?
I would like to disagree with that opinion that far more trees cover Australia now by referring to the FNQ Tolga Scrub that is what remains of a rain forest after the rest the Atherton Tablelands had been cleared to make way for farming much like the rest of Australia that was cleared to make way for grain farming and pasture improvement for livestock production .
Satellite imagery clearly shows what once was a heavily timbered landscape by the wide open barren land surrounding national parks or crown land public reserves .
I have been involved in pasture improvement being the operator of one of the dozers dragging a chain through scrub that had no mercantile value as such except to breed kangaroos , I looked at the soil and opinioned to the others that the owners of the land were wasting their money clearing the land as it did not have the nutrients to sustain stock once that land had been cleared and that proved correct when I visited that area a few years later .
The same on Northern Territory Ooloo Station that had been cleared to make way for the Douglas Daly farm land subdivision looked as though the government had not done any soil testing even though there was a government research farm nearby for when I was associated with a farmer there in the 80’s he informed me of the low quality soil and of the quantity of wild pigs that destroyed much of his crops when they camped for the night .
When my fathers family leased their 2000 acres of Victoria’s Wimmera 5 generations ago it was stipulated on the lease agreement that the land had to be cleared of “all” timber to make way for cropping much like the western Australia wheat belt that had all been chained to make way for cropping that caused salt lakes to appear ; very interesting that my ancestors left a few trees in each paddock to keep the salt level from rising they were that intelligent .
Wouldn’t you think that intelligence would have carried on to modern day farm practice ?

When will people realise that this captured government has no, nil, zilch….
Most of our sleepwalking, wilfully ignorant and gleefully compliant fellow Australians probably never will. They’re a lost cause and are actually the (albeit unintentional), yet most precarious enemy that walks among us. But at least you do erich, so I and no doubt, many others here hope you’ll stick around to contribute more to the discourse.
Historian Bill Gammage wrote “The Biggest Estate on Earth – How Aborigines made Australia” published 2011. It is an absorbing and informative work which should be compulsory reading for … well..Everyone ! I wonder if Peter Ridd is aware of it ? – he asked for comments.
erich said – “… they work for the WHO, WEF, WWF, UN, CFR etc…”
Exactly.
Chickens & foxes, folks, chickens & foxes. And CORPORATE foxes at that.
The chickens are destined for the cooking pot if they don’t change tactics and channel their inner Velociraptor.
A case of Australia being the lackey for the globullists again.
Good video but would be improved with a large spray of cuss-words such as Crooked Bloody Elbow and Useless F@#$%n Canberra and Bunch of Parasitic Dickheads etc.
When will people realise that this captured government has no, nil, zilch plans to listen to you, the useless eaters! No, they work for the WHO, WEF, WWF, UN, CFR etc., etc. and any other section of the new world order thugs in charge of our paid UN lackies and treasonous politians!?
ABSOLUTELY SO TRUE.
