the global food supply is shrinking exponentially. New Zealand’s North Island has just had a massive blow – floods in Auckland have damaged important vegetable growing areas and now Hawkes Bay/Gisborne floods from the Valentines day cyclone. Again, important crops wiped out – apple orchards decimated – apple exports down the drain, vineyards wiped out – entire vintage down the drain, infrastructure severely damaged – roads gone, no power supply restoration until 1 March for many areas. Dairy farms, poultry farms trying to operate by generator, feed supplies restricted due to no access. Communication is down. The cost to restore any kind of normality will be incredible. A highly vaxxed population now has restricted access to medical help.
