There are times when I feel like a stranger in my own country, the urge to scream in frustration all but overwhelming.
My problem is that I’m not a believer. I don’t believe in man-made climate change and shake my head in bemusement at the people who are presently running through the streets screaming “climate emergency.”
We now live in an age in which if something is said often enough by self-interested parties then it must be true. Anyone who attempts to voice a contrary view is howled down and branded a “denier.”
No one dares to be different. Such is the desperate need to be accepted and on-trend that we will happily go along with any point of view which will be favourably viewed by social media.
The intellectual laziness of the masses is as sad as it is tragic. We have become a nation of unthinking morons which unquestioningly accepts the views of self-anointed “experts” without wondering if their shouted declarations that the end is nigh might just be driven by the urgent need to justify their existence and get their hands on another research grant.
To be a climate denier is to suffer eternal damnation but it is perfectly fine to be a democracy denier as witnessed by the fact that there are large numbers of very noisy people who still can’t accept that Donald Trump is President of the United States and Scott Morrison Prime Minister of Australia.
They weren’t supposed to win. How did this happen? Apparently the Russians rigged the US elections but how Morrison managed to end up in The Lodge remains a mystery. The man’s a Christian, for God’s sake, and doesn’t believe that the world is about to end. Go figure.
Nor do I believe that people who attempt to lie and cheat their way into the country should be allowed to settle here and struggle to understand why people like Minister for Home Affairs Peter Dutton is pilloried for doing what he is paid to do — protect our borders.
My advice to those with bleeding heart tales who wish to live here? Get in the queue.
Admitting that you admire Dutton for his forthrightness is, of course, akin to confessing to devil worship and not something you would dream of doing in the company of strangers lest you be set upon and tarred and feathered.
I also have no time for the United Nations, a multi-billion dollar club which boasts among its members some of the great hypocrites and pontificators of our time and which seethes with corruption.
Blackfellas should toss their annual moaning event about historical issues and sort out the alcohol, drug and sexual abuse
Australia Day is three months distant so the non-indigenous among us must ready ourselves to be branded as white supremacists celebrating a bloody invasion.
I don’t buy it. Instead of wasting energy moaning about historical wrongs, tackle the alcohol, drug and sexual abuse and poor parenting that denies so many indigenous children a shot at a better life.
This is not a point of view that people publicly express because they know they will be denounced as being racists if they do so. So be it.
Christmas in also coming but don’t mention Jesus or the birth of Christ lest in so doing, you offend someone and that would never do.
I’ll continue to live, then, in my own little offensive, racist, climate denier world but I’ve a feeling that I am not alone. Please feel free to join me.#
Up to 15 black teenagers hit a man with a bicycle, then punched and kicked him unconscious in the early hours of Sunday morning in the Cairns suburb of Woree.
The man, 36, had left a local hotel and was walking towards his car when he was directly approached by the gang of youths.
Senior Constable Russell Parker of Cairns Police said the man had been unconscious for about 10 minutes and when he came to, discovered his phone, wallet and car keys had been stolen.
Constable Parker said his car was taken for a joy ride by the indigenous youths but later recovered.
Police have called for public assistance to find the culprits. As previously reported in Cairns News gangs of roaming, largely indigenous criminals have placed a stain on Cairns as a safe tourist destination.
Police have long complained that after putting in hundreds of man hours looking for youthful criminals in the past, their able efforts are normally diffused by the Magistrates Court.
Successive State Governments have watered down punishment for young criminals and the Labor Government shut down boot camps.
Indigenous health advocate, Geoff Guest OAM, told Cairns News he has had outstanding success with youth and adult drug and alcohol rehabilitation over 30 years.
The renowned Petford Farm, west of Dimbulah, has successfully seen more than 3000 patients pass through its gates.
Many former residents of Petford Farm, now the Guest Centre, return after 20 or more years to pay homage to Mr Guest for turning their lives around.
The Guest program, based on horse training and riding, has been acknowledged by health professionals as the best substance abuse rehabilitation course in Australia.
Mr Guest said he has not admitted troubled youth to the program for a number of years, instead concentrating on healthy nutrition for Aboriginal communities, a strategy he believes should prevent the need for extensive rehab programs.
Member for Kennedy, Bob Katter, has called on the State Government to introduce healthy eating programs across the north, particularly at Kowanyama where three children attempt suicide each week.
Mr Guest, aged 90, is a seemingly ageless philanthropist, who has dedicated much of his life to helping others.
TO OUR ABORIGINAL FRIENDS DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND OUR MONEY CAMPAIGNING FOR SOMETHING YOU ALREADY HAVE!
The sad news for all the indigenous agitators, hangers-on, misguided and deluded social justice groups and the Greens, is that Aborigines are already included in the Constitution. Beginning on July 9, 1900 :
“WHEREAS the people of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland; and Tasmania humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God, have agreed to unite in one indissoluble Federal Commonwealth……and under the Constitution hereby established.”
We the people of the Commonwealth united under the Constitution will not include you in our Constitution, for you already exist. Take note we will not then have to pay you rent for evermore on the entire Australian continent. You already cost the taxpayer $25 billion a year. How much more do you want?”
Message From a Broome Cop – Australia 2014 G’day !
Yesterday arvo just about to knock off work when all hell breaks out at Town Beach, Broome. Over 150 black fellas from Halls Creek, Balgo, Broome start bluing. They’ve been on the gas all day. They were loaded up with cartons of beer and JDs. First car goes in and the missiles get launched at them and the troopy is trashed. The troops beat a retreat under a barrage of rocks and cans. 2nd, third and 4th cars arrive and they too are smashed by the mob that stop fighting each other and turn on the boys and girls in blue. I go in with my team and we start tipping out grog and the mob comes at us. Apparently it’s our fault for turning up. In our misguided attempt to protect the innocent members of the community going about their lawful business, we have caused the mob to turn on us. We shut all the liquor outlets and the mob go wild again. After an hour and a half we restore order. We have 5 wrecked cars and four injured staff. One obese woman is run over by a police car after throwing herself at the vehicle. Fortunately she is not seriously injured. Your tax payer funded dollars fuelled this disorder. Your tax payer dollars will pay for the repairs, the overtime, the medical bills and the clean up of the public park. Next week is royalty payment week. That means, they can afford to buy cartons of JD and JB and smoke kilos of gunja. That means we will be again back at Town Beach fighting them when things get out of control. Yep, this is paradise.
A 12 year old has been ripping up and down the road on his brand new quad bike. As he flies past he gives us the bird. We won’t chase because of the danger to everyone else. He comes past again, flips the bird and takes off. We know where he lives and arrive in time to catch him and his mate who is riding a small trail bike. We seize both bikes for 28 days and tell them they will be summonsed. He is full of foul language and threats to get us. Mum comes out and is screaming because she only bought the bike today for $2500. Whilst we load the bikes onto a trailer, a local tax payer funded charity organisation turns up with heaps of food -tv dinners and deserts for all the people at the house. So, she can afford to buy the little shit a quad bike but can’t afford to buy them food. Why would she bother – the tax payer is supplying her booze, rent, drugs and (free) mobile phone (yes, you can get a free Telstra mobile if you’re the “victim” of domestic abuse).
When will any politician have the stones to stop this blatant waste and demand accountability from these people who are partying 24/7 on a tax payer funded junket for life. And, when they call me a white dog c-you-en-tee, that’s not being racist. And I’m supposed to treat them with respect when they get locked up. And the wet hasn’t even started yet.
Welcome to the Kimberley.
