A RECORDING seized by police may be the evidence that clears five Sydney Swans players of hysterical “trial-by-media” accusations of “sexual assault” that has been used to fuel the establishment Left’s social media censorship campaign.
According to vlogger and law professor Joanna Howe, the media has now gone quiet after carrying out “one of the most intense, unjust and finely orchestrated character assassinations in recent Australian history”.
Cairns News would suggest it’s a shining example of a psychological operation involving the demonisation of five young white men for the causes of “women’s sexual rights” and social media censorship by the “global progressive Left”.
The media uproar and blatant criminal allegations “coincided beautifully” with an appearance at the National Press Club of Australia in Canberra of Chanel Contos, the woke CEO of Teach Us Consent, who says children should openly talk sex in classrooms, that her future partner should pay her a salary and that Australian men are the most mysogynistic men in high income countries.
Contos was handed $3.5 million by the Albanese government for her organisation Teach Us Consent and is “closely advising” the government on its new so-called “digital duty of care” bill.
Her website is an exercise in Leftist hypocrisy and psychological manipulation – on one hand bleating about “consent” as some sort of high moral standard set against rampant “sexual assaults” while on the other promoting all manner of sexual licentiousness and perversions as “normal for kids”.
Speaking on her podcast Dr Howe said it appears that the tape is of a conversation after the alleged sexual assault, between the complainants, a trio of strippers hired by the five players for “entertainment” which included payments for slaps on their butts – needless to say, a stupid stunt for high-profile sportsmen to get themselves entangled in.
“They’re just pawns in this bigger ideological agenda to shut down social media and to indoctrinate our kids,” says Dr Howe.
Her husband James, put it more bluntly: “The club, Sydney Swans, have been perfectly happy to see five of their players branded rapists with no evidence that that’s what they are. They have just thrown them squarely under the bus to save their own woke arses.”
Victoria Police meanwhile, say it will take eight weeks to get an update on what seems from the outside to be a quite simple investigation. Come two months and the media will have almost forgotten about the entire incident they ran with screaming headlines for two weeks.
“Meanwhile, Riley Bice has been cleared, Nick Blakey wants to leave the Swans for another team, and the secret recording that possibly exonerates the players has been seized by the police.
“A full month on, and still the only clear “allegation” we’ve heard is one of the girls believes the fee she charged the Swans players to slap her butt only covered three slaps, rather than the four she received,” says Dr Howe.
“Yet these five men have basically been accused of the most heinous crimes imaginable, and stood down for the entire season, while no one bothers to even ask whether they themselves might be the victims of false allegations – a scenario that seems increasingly likely to be true.”
Dr Howe makes it clear she is against prostitution in all its forms, which she considers immoral, exploitative of women and gross. “But the same Left who is piling on the Swans guys loves prostitution.”
“One of the Left’s infallible doctrines is that so-called sex work is empowering for women. If you think you smell a rat behind the double standard, you’re right.”
An example of how this investigation is used by the LGBTQ/me too crowd as “moral justification” has been demonstrated by Kirsti Miller, who declares herself “a proud transsexual woman, Australia and champion athlete, researcher and educator regarding diversity, inclusion, acceptability and the broader issues of sport”.
“Every single person who is arguing that nothing should be said about the Sydney Swans incident until a full investigation, is on the side of men being protected from accountability for their behaviour and for women to be presumed to be liars,” she posted on X.
“Many sexual assaults are never fully investigated or go to court. That does not mean women are liars, it means the systems to investigate such things are terribly flawed. It is OK to believe women before any systems kick in. And anyone protesting that is just flying their own red flags.”
