The landlord just installed 4 new wifi-interlinked listening devices, aka, smoke alarms. There are 2 TVs and 2 computers that pick up foreign programs which we like to leave running in the background to give a multi-cultural vibe to the place. Best thing about both IMO is that (like many Linux distributions nowadays) while you can do a full-blown install onto your PC”s hard drives, you can also run them with persistence Live on a USB flash drive, no installation onto your PCs necessary. And no juicy information left on your PCs hard drives for some malicious shit-for-brains baby-eating ARSEHOLE to pilfer or exploit or come harass, persecute and incarcerate you.

FWIW, the Intel Core 2 processors were introduced in 2006, hence allegedly unlikely to have all the BS internal spying machinery of later processors. And the mentioned Linux distributions just LOVE to run on those processors, they run most anything you’d ever want to run without any difficulties at all.
