About time we Aussies took back our ABC. Our Uniparty grubbernments have been letting it set and run all sorts of bought and paid for foreign agendas for far TOO LONG. Foreign to most Aussies, that is. It’s become our very own Trojan horse!

Except for certain limited rural services, the ABC should be funded by optional public subscription. That is the only litmus test that will measure its value.

I say full marks to Hugh Marks, but I say it pre-emptively, without having been able to put him to any kind of test.
I was a 2GB listener going back to John Pearce days but became disillusioned with totally repetitive, utterly BORING ads, synchronized, asinine host ‘POV’s’ and have switched them off completely.
Fordham can be an incisive interviewer but this was more a ‘mates chat’ – so that no doubt Marks, not feeling intimidated, will return and give Fordham another trophy.
The fact is that the ABC is a totally leftist organisation, from its roots: the Marxist/left intention was, from the Frankfurt School, from the beginning, to infiltrate, to white-ant, all the Wests’ institutions – the media being one of the most important – and it has succeeded totally in ‘Your ABC’.
It used to be pretty blatant, in your face, but now, due to push back (and I’ve pushed back) it’s more subtle; but the left bias in news reporting & news commentary is still there.
Maybe Fordham will get his ex-boss/mate Marks back again and not pull punches. I won’t hold my breath.
Maybe One Nation will (unlike Abbott) defund, or at least significantly reduce tax-payer funding of the bloated, leftist ABC. We’ll see.
