CHRIS “The Climate Clown” Bowen, the Minister for Climate Change and Energy, is not backing down. This fool is unashamedly continuing to claim that so-called renewables will provide Australians with cheaper electricity. He is clearly delusional.
It should not, therefore, be a difficult decision for the Liberals to decide this Wednesday, whether or not to dump the so-called Net Zero policy.
As pointed out by Matthew Sheahan of Advance Australia, as of this last Friday morning, 45,880 Australians have signed the petition calling on all major parties to dump Net Zero.
But Labor, the Greens and Teals would have us believe that most Australians support this idea of shutting down our 18 coal-fired power stations while China is still adding to its 1140 coal-fired stations – the official figure of several years ago.
Sheahan has provided five facts for Liberal Net Zero fence-sitters and outright supporters like Sussan Ley and WEF Young Global Leader and Liberal Senator Andrew Bragg, who has threatened to leave the party over the issue.
We say to Ley, Bragg and others, go join the Teals or Greens if you’re so committed to the stupid idea of destroying the electricity supply system that built modern Australia into an industrial state, but is now rapidly deindustralising.
Sheahan’s five facts for “Tealy Libs” are:
– Net Zero will cost trillions of dollars: The Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) has estimated that the government’s Net Zero emission reduction policies could cost Australians anywhere between $7 trillion and $9 trillion by 20601. And yet …
– Net Zero won’t actually change anything: Achieving Net Zero won’t have a tangible impact on global emissions, with even the CSIRO admitting that our domestic output is only around 1 per cent2. Chump change compared to major emitters like China and India.
– Net Zero is gutting businesses and deindustrialising Australia: Net Zero is pushing the price of energy up, making it harder than ever to run a business and next to impossible to build anything. No wonder that manufacturers are leaving Australia. ASIC insolvency statistics revealed that over 1400 manufacturers nationally have collapsed since 2022–23.3
– Net Zero is making everyone poorer: High energy prices are pushing inflation up, from 2.1 per cent to 3.2 per cent.4 Not only is grocery shopping more expensive, higher inflation also means interest rates stay higher for longer, putting pressure on mortgages and businesses. Thanks, Net Zero.
– Net Zero is destroying the environment: Most ironically of all, Net Zero means the destruction of Australian farmland and its natural environment. Industrial-scale wind and solar power plants and transmission lines are carving through usable agricultural land, upending communities, and ruining coastlines and skylines.5 The IPA estimated that at least “9 per cent of Australia’s landmass, over 18 per cent of Australia’s agricultural land, or an area equivalent to ten Tasmanias” would be required to replace Australia’s coal and gas with wind and solar generation.6
“Advance will be making sure Liberal MPs get these facts loud and clear. And please make sure you forward them on to anyone who needs to know,” says Sheahan.

Clearly so many of you do not have any real understanding of CO2. Do you understand that vegetable growers use CO2 generators in their greenhouse to increase CO2 up to 1,500 ppm to increase growth up to 40 per cent.
Science tells us that for 63 million years the CO2 was 1,200 ppm and at time up to 5,000 ppm and life flourished, CO2 is NOT a problem it is an ESSENTIALS PLANT FOOD. Einstein said If it gets down to 180ppm all food plants will die. This is the smoke screen to divert fools away from the real serious problem of other dangerous chemicals being released into the atmosphere and losing our oxygen production areas, we will die from lost oxygen long before CO2 becomes a problem — Fools never learn and die ignorant.
There is no credible evidence that CO2 is a harmful gas.
The claim that the minute amount of 0.04% (400 ppm) in the atmosphere causes climate-change is derived from sheer arrogance and scientific illiteracy. The percentage is just too minute to have any effect — like trying to melt steel with a match.
Many say that CO2 causes climate change but cannot tell us HOW it happens: We cannot work on any data that shows how it could happen from such a minute amount of 0.04% in the atmosphere, we want them to tell us HOW — explain the theory. TELL US HOW IT HAPPENS.
Many have an opinion but when asked, cannot explain the mechanics/thermodynamics of how the minute amount of CO2 at 0.04% of the atmosphere can drive climate change up or down?
Simply it cannot and never has in the past.
CO2 has never led nor followed past climate changes.
The atmosphere consists of Nitrogen at 78%. Oxygen at 21%, Argon at 0.93%, with trace amounts of Neon, Helium, Methane, Krypton and Hydrogen these are not greenhouse gases and they total 99.9%, leaving little space for the greenhouse gases methane, carbon dioxide (CO2) and water vapor clouds.
The alarmists panic over carbon dioxide (CO2) slightly increasing from 350 parts per million to 400 parts per million in 50 years — An increase of ONE part per million each year. That is the TOTAL CO2 increase in the atmosphere per year including from natural earth and volcanic generation.
Man Made CO2 is only 3% of ONE percent or as 3 parts in 100 million increase per year. That 4% is the World total, Australia contributes only 1.3% of that 4 parts/ 100,000,000 parts (10B) added to our atmosphere every year. Total from Australia 1.35% of the 3% of the 0.04%
That is equal to 4.5 parts per 10,000,000,000 parts (10 B) added to our atmosphere every year.
Simplified, that is 3 litres of water added to a one hundred million litre tank.
Even the deadliest gas in the World would have no effect at that amount.
Fools tell us that the ratio of a harmless, but essential gas for our existence, is supposed to be causing changes to our climate — Total ignorant rubbish.
We suggest you talk to Prof Ian Plimer on this subject; I have attached a few science details on how the climate actually works as so far only one politician we have spoken to actually understands how our climate works.
The LNP either learn about how our climate works, or your credibility and falling voter support will continue to collapse. How come you politicians are believing this CO2 nonsense, when 60 years ago we were taught in school how important it is for crop growth and that climate changes of summer, autumn, winter and spring are all part of the natural ever-changing climate of earth.
