A personal statement
As of today, by mutual agreement, I am officially no longer a member of the Liberal Party. I’ve supported them my whole adult life, nearly 40 years, but I can no longer do so in good conscience.
This decision doesn’t come from anger or disrespect. There are many good men and women within the Liberal Party, people I’ve met, respected, and will always hold in high regard. I honour their service and commitment to our country, and I’m grateful for the support and friendship shared over many years.
But the truth is, the party I once knew has lost its way. It no longer represents the values or the people it was built to serve. Too many decisions today are driven by political survival and global influence rather than standing up for everyday Australians. We can no longer afford to sit on the fence when our nation is facing challenges that demand courage, conviction, and honesty.
Across Australia, people are struggling, with the cost of living, housing, rising debt, and decisions being made behind closed doors. Australians are working harder, paying more, and getting less. That’s not the country we grew up believing in, and it’s not the Australia I want for my children or grandchildren.
The major parties have forgotten who they work for. They no longer represent the people, they represent themselves. Too many decisions are made to protect seats, not serve Australians. Accountability has disappeared, and with it, public trust.
Australians should also be free to speak openly without fear of being labelled or silenced. We are a free country, and we must remain one. When people are afraid to speak, democracy suffers.
Here’s the reality many still don’t see: that a vote for the Liberal Party is effectively a vote for Labor. Under our preferential voting system, the two major parties trade preferences to keep control. They are two wings of the same bird, flying in the same direction.
So no matter which one you vote for, you end up with the same outcomes, higher migration, more control, less accountability, and policies that divide rather than unite.
While I respect the office, I cannot support the leadership of Sussan Ley or the direction the party is taking. It no longer reflects the conservative values or courage needed to stand up for ordinary Australians.
I stand for an Australia that rewards hard work, protects families, values truth, respects its history, and puts its people first. That’s not left or right, that’s common sense and good leadership.
It’s vital that we make our votes matter at the next election, more than ever before. But it starts now, not at the last minute. Change doesn’t happen by chance. It happens when people stand early, speak clearly, and support what they believe in.
Supporting One Nation for me isn’t about politics, it’s about accountability. It’s about putting Australians first, defending our freedoms, and restoring honesty in leadership. I believe One Nation has the strength, integrity, and determination to hold the government accountable and protect the Australia we love. They’re not perfect, but they have the courage to say what others are too afraid to say, and to do what others refuse to do.
We can’t afford to sit back and hope things will change. Get informed. Support the voices who are standing for you. Speak to your family and friends. Every conversation counts. Every vote counts.
This isn’t about division or bitterness. It’s about truth, accountability, and standing up for the generations that will come after us.
Every one of us has a choice, to stay silent or to stand. Me I choose to stand, we cannot stay silent at this time, this is important.

You can vote for someone in the senate without voting in the lower house. If you don’t vote they will just laugh. What you need to do is stop funding them, and undermine their idiotic new laws, until such a time as we are fortunate enough to be rid of Canberra entirely.
