A helicopter equipped with heat seeking cameras continues to buzz overhead but so far they have had no sign of the fugitive who by now could be in South America.

I wonder when Bright and Porepunkah residents will decide that the police have outstayed their welcome. They are obviously not going to find Dezi – if they were going to find him they would have by now – well before now infact. The police could have circled the bus and kept him contained until they got assistance, the question is did they really have a warrant for child abuse, this should be shown under the freedom of information, also the average male going through divorce get these lies told to them as well. The allegation by that reporter that Desi took a firearm from one or both of the slain police officers before he fled into the bush strongly suggests to me he was unarmed inside his caravan, and fled after the police were likely sniped by sharp shooters in a staged psy op. Desi may have had mental health issues, and been targeted by VicPol for many years as he claimed, but I just don’t buy that he would resort to shooting 3 officers, as he has always fought Police and the courts lawfullly. And why would he put his family at risk by starting a gun battle, when by all reports he loves his wife and family and was a “family man”?

The Daily Mail is part of the mainstream media, and not an information source to be trusted. The report, given by one reporter, but without corroborating proof, appears to be a hatchet job on Freeman. Notably, at the critical moment in the confrontation there is a total lack of coherent information. So, we are none the wiser as to what happened. However, based on this report, there was no indication that Freeman had any weapons, and how the deceased policemen, who were all outside, were killed. Collateral damage (sacrifice?) springs to mind. And if the remaining police scattered, was there yet another (unrecorded) person who did the shooting? Were the deceased shot from the front or back? Were the bullets all of the same calibre, and what type of firearm was used? Also, how did Freeman escape? While one may have sympathy for the families of those who have been killed, I doubt that the Victorian government or VicPol will ever release any more information, relying on the Daily Mail to be their patsy. Let’s hope that Dezi is safe, and will eventually get to tell his side of the story.
