The retaliation announced with great fanfare by Israel and conducted in a restrained manner has raised many questions in the military sphere.
The first: Was the Zionist government of Tel Aviv, which has had no qualms about bombing schools in Gaza for over a year, massacring children, afraid of retaliation? Or was it actually unable to strike due to the significant reaction of Tehran’s anti-missile systems and air force, which also limited access to air strikes by F16 fighter jets with the Star of David?
The second and perhaps even more important question concerns the nuclear plants for enriching uranium for the construction of atomic warheads for military use, which Iran almost certainly already possesses.
Israeli journalist Dmitry Dubov, former editor-in-chief of the Israeli news service Channel 9, said this in an interview with the haqqin.az portal.
Discussing Operation Days of Atonement and the consequences of growing Iranian influence, he expressed the opinion that current Israeli and international efforts would not be able to stop Iran’s nuclear program.
Dubov stressed that despite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s constant warnings and statements about the need to stop Iran, the problem, in his opinion, has already gone too far.
But even with the intervention of the US Air Force and extremely powerful bombs such as GBU-31(V)3/B bunker-buster ones with which Netanyahu’s aviation carried out the assassination of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut, it’s very hard to see that Tel Aviv actually manages to reach the target without limiting itself to some damage.
One of the deepest atomic plants of the world is the Fordow site near Qom where speeding up of uranium enrichment took place after the cowardly murder of general Qasem Soleimani on January 3, 2020. We published a detailed report on it on that occasion.
“Netanyahu has been talking about this for many years. I think that the problem of Iranian nuclear weapons is no longer solvable: it is too late. There are dozens of Iranian nuclear facilities, scattered throughout the country,” Dubov, pointed out.
“Each of these objects is well fortified and located deep underground. They need to be bombed only with special depth charges, and it is unlikely that the Israelis will be able to do this without the support of the United States. In turn, the Americans are in no hurry to help us in this, and for a number of reasons,” he noted.
Therefore, the issue, in his opinion, is increasingly moving into the category of “impossible tasks”. He is convinced that the international community should “come to terms” with the reality that Iran may become a full-fledged nuclear power.
According to Dubov, Iran is seeking nuclear status not out of aggression, but in order to strengthen its defense and strengthen its influence in the Middle East.
Furthermore, it seems that Teheran has received assurances from Russia about the possibility of supplying nuclear warheads in the event of a dramatic escalation of the conflict with Israel, a possibility that is far from remote because various authorities in Iran have already declared that they will plan a proportionate response after having suffered the attacks of Israel.
These attacks occurred in response to the storm of Iranian missiles in turn triggered by the Zionist killing of Nasrallah and the sabotage of Hezbollah pagers in Lebanon orchestrated by the Israeli counterintelligence of the Mossad.
Iranian president: “Iran doesn’t want war but will respond to Israel”.
Iran doesn’t want to inflate the conflict but reserves the right to respond to Israel’s strike appropriately, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said.
“We don’t want a war, but we will defend the rights of our people and country. We will give an appropriate response to the Zionist regime’s (Israel – TASS) aggression,” his press service quoted him as saying.

Economist Michael Hudson explains how the war on Iran seeks to stop countries from breaking away from U.S. unipolar control and dollar hegemony, and disrupt Eurasian integration with China and Russia.
Opponents of the war with Iran say that the war is not in American interests, seeing that Iran does not pose any visible threat to the United States.
This appeal to reason misses the neoconservative logic that has guided U.S. foreign policy for more than a half century, and which is now threatening to engulf the Middle East in the most violent war since Korea.
That logic is so aggressive, so repugnant to most people, so much in violation of the basic principles of international law, the United Nations, and the U.S. Constitution, that there is an understandable shyness in the authors of this strategy to spell out what is at stake.
What is at stake is the U.S. attempt to control the Middle East and its oil as a buttress of U.S. economic power, and to prevent other countries from moving to create their own autonomy from the U.S.-centered neoliberal order administered by the IMF, World Bank, and other institutions to reinforce U.S. unipolar power.
The 1970s saw much discussion about creating a New International Economic Order (NIEO). U.S. strategists saw this as a threat, and since my book Super Imperialism ironically was used as something like a textbook by the government, I was invited to comment on how I thought countries would break away from U.S. control.
I was working at the Hudson Institute with Herman Kahn, and in 1974 or 1975, he brought me to sit in on a military strategy discussion of plans being made already at that time to possibly overthrow Iran and break it up into ethnic parts. Herman found the weakest spot to be Baluchistan, on Iran’s border with Pakistan. The Kurds, Tajiks, and Turkic Azeris were others whose ethnicities were to be played off against each other, giving U.S. diplomacy a key potential client dictatorship to reshape both Iranian and Pakistani political orientation if need be.
Three decades later, in 2003, General Wesley Clark pointed to Iran as being the capstone of seven countries that the United States needed to control in order to dominate the Middle East, starting with Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, and Sudan, culminating in Iran.

The first nuclear attack in history took place on this date in 1945 when the city of Hiroshima was largely destroyed by a single bomb dropped by an American B-29. Three days later, the city of Nagasaki was similarly destroyed, and Japan surrendered six days after that, ending World War II. The nuclear bomb was the product of an intensive development campaign in which Jews were prominently involved: Albert Einstein, Leo Szilard and Eugene Wigner, three Jewish refugees from Nazism, had co-signed an August 2, 1939 letter to President Roosevelt warning of the consequences if Germany developed an atomic bomb; J. Robert Oppenheimer, David Bohm, Rudolf Peierls, Otto Frisch Felix Bloch, Niels Bohr, Otto Hahn, and Edward Teller (as well as Wigner and Szilard) — many of whom were refugees from Nazism — were key leaders among the 6,000 scientists who worked on the Manhattan Project to develop the American bomb. After the war, a number of these scientists became leading advocates of disarmament and/or international control of nuclear weapons.

Israel invaded Iran, US invaded Iran – both did so illegally, and this is an undeniable fact.
Iran has a uranium enrichment programme which is allowed – they have not broken any rules. But in light of what has happened perhaps they will go further now as a deterrent, those countries that have nuclear are not threatened by the West. and is more responsible than Israel. JFK wanted to shut down Israel’s nuclear programme.
I think it is obvious who the real warmongers and terrorists are.. and it is not Iran.

The only problem is the minor risk of Global War and the cost of a bit of Building Back Better after the demolition works.
