Donald Trump’s America First policy casts a wide net when attached to a condition of fulfilling the AUKUS submarine deal with Australia.
The Pentagon is conducting a review of the deal and it seems Australia could lose out if the Defence Secretary decides their need for subs is greater.
Earlier this year Trump reacted to PM Albanese, US Ambassador Kevin Rudd and Foreign Minister Penny Wong defaming him publicly by stating Rudd would not be Ambassador for much longer and referred to Albanese as a “lefty globalist.”
Albanese and Defence Minister Richard Marles seem unable to comprehend Trump and Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth want nothing to do with their woke, Marxist regime.
Albanese thinks he will meet unofficially with Trump at the G7 conference next week in Canada but the President has not yet publicly confirmed a meeting.

Cairns News would not be surprised if Trump shuns Albanese yet again after he told Pete Hegseth to mind his own business about increasing defence expenditure, which does not augur well for the AUKUS or ANZUS defence pacts.
Liberal Opposition Defence Minister Jacinta Price weighed into the AUKUS failings of the government.

Failure of Australia to defend itself and increase defence spending
Australia has NO defense, no modern equipment, a weeks ammunition only, no submarines of any use, a minor navy and few air defence planes.
We are on the cusp of a World War, all western countries have greatly increased their Defence spending and have their military on high alert, the US have requested Australia seriously increase our Defence spending to 3.5 of GDP to adequately contribute to the AUKUS Alliance — Australia refuses, therefore they are not a serious contributor the AUKUS Alliance and should be expelled for incompetence and their childish parasitic attitude to other members.
PM Albanese’s refusal to protect Australia with more urgently needed funding borders on treasonous behavior, our country is undefended by deliberate act of incompetent politicians.
Albanese waste $440 m on an unnecessary referendum, we spend $39.5 Billion a year (2023) on Aboriginals and white people claiming to be aboriginal, we gave Ukraine $110 m, $355 m to assist other nations to withstand climate-related shocks, $821 m to other nations for regional health resilience, $100m to Indonesia for human and animal health security, $370 million for the humanitarian crisis in Myanmar a Muslim crisis of their own making, $600m over 3 years to the World Bank, $100m WHO and more; literally Billions in foreign donations. Totally useless expenditures when Australia is taken over and people killed by the Chinese.
We have been parasites on the US defence system for decades due to the poor quality of politicians who have no understanding of world defence requirement’s and are too busy playing home politics for their own income, position and status.
