THE GLOBAL media this week went crazy this week when the stock markets had a long overdue correction. The “reason” for the big fall was ostensibly Trump’s trade tariff war. But stock markets always find “a reason” for a sudden rise or fall.
Steve Bannon declared after the event “Black Monday has been cancelled”. The big sell-off, as our monthly chart shows, was simply another in a series of corrections over the past decade. This week’s sell-off was comparable to the 2020 Covid-induced sell-off.
“The folks that financed the globalists, the folks that financed all the factories leaving, the folks that essentially bet against the American people, the folks that went long other countries and shorted America, they’re gettin’ crushed,” said Bannon on his daily broadcast.
Bannon goes on to explain that it’s not just the tariff rate that Trump is dealing with, it’s all the gaming of the system, the currency manipulation, the counterfeiting, the trying to get around the rules with “tons of barriers” called non-tariff or non-cash barriers. “This is a total restructuring of the geo-economic order,” says Bannon.
Meanwhile in the media world, there was constant gnashing of teeth and wailing against the “crazy, destructive, irresponsible, disruptive” Trump tariffs. “We haven’t seen this sort of thing for 100 years,” one ABC commentator noted, referring to the common trading practice of the early 20th Century.
Trump’s refrain to media on the tariff question has been that the rest of the world has ripped off the US for decades. He’s referring, essentially, to globalist trade policy pushed by the likes of Henry Kissinger as part of his “great power diplomacy” .
It is undeniable that Trump has simply upended what the elites call the Global Liberal Order, aka the more popularly tagged New World Order. This is the system that deindustrialized the US and continues to deindustrialize countries like the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, now being justified in the name of the “transition to renewables” and “net zero”.
The absurdity of this so-called transition is demonstrated in the fact that China has some 1140 coal-fired power stations, while Australian Labor, Liberal, Teal and Green politicians and various NGOs are beating their chests over the existence of 18 or 19 in this country – soon to be reduced even more.
Meanwhile a documentary by 7News on China’s highly polluting electric vehicle industry has revealed the hypocrisy of both the global environmental and global trade narratives. Under Beijing’s Belt and Road initiative, the Indonesians have created two massive nickel mining complexes called ‘industrial parks’ in Central Sulawesi and on the island of Halmahera, near West Papua.
So, while Australia deindustralizes in the name of a “clean, green net-zero future”, the cheap labor of Indonesia bears the human and environmental burden of digging up the nickel for the batteries to power the silent electric passenger boxes from China.
Meanwhile Australia’s environmentally responsible (but probably over-regulated) home-grown nickel industry has lost 7000 jobs because it simply can’t compete with Indonesia’s cheap labour and low costs of production.
7News revealed that Science and Industry Minister Ed Husic, in league with EV enthusiast Chris Bowen, signed a special agreement with Indonesia on nickel mining, less than two years ago committing both countries to working together on “mapping EV supply chains” – globalism in action.
Husic admitted that the two countries had agreed to “advance mutually beneficial cooperation on battery manufacturing, critical minerals processing and other aspects of the electric vehicle ecosystem”. How cute.
Meanwhile the King Carbon Clown, aka Energy Minister Bowen, is using tens of millions in taxpayer subsidies to help the Chinese EV makers to sell their products with their shiny, cheap batteries.

‘Pretty chill’: Awkward detail in major crackdown on homeless tent cities
A week after a crackdown on people sleeping in tents on public land and giving them 24 hours to relocate, the community can only notice one thing.
The neighbouring City of Moreton Bay council, which issued a similar edict, has so far given out more than 60 compliance notices, but no fines.
In February, the council announced it would make it illegal for homeless people to camp or sleep on public ground.
Since introducing the tough measures on unhoused people, the council said it had issued 64 written compliance notices to those camping on public land.
No fines have been issued yet, a City of Moreton Bay spokesperson told the ABC.
The change came into effect on March 12, and those who fail to comply risk a fine of up to $8065.
The crackdown came after the council, in December 2024, banned homeless people from keeping pets or sleeping in vans or cars.
“Due to the actions of some, and that number is growing daily, a number of our public spaces have become unsafe or inaccessible to residents and our staff,” Mayor Peter Flannery said.
“This is unacceptable and I will not stand for it any longer.
“Our communities have been patient and compassionate, but enough is enough.”
NewsWire has contacted the Brisbane City Council and City of Moreton Bay for comment.

What a despicable thing to do to the homeless – This was caused by the economic harm done to our country over covid lockdowns, job losses, illegal mandates etc. The government caused a lot of this mess and they need to fix it.

Moreton Bay mayor Peter Flannery has today warned BCF Lawnton that there will be severe repercussions if staff are seen selling tents to anyone who looks ‘unhoused’, as part of his three step plan to stop homeless people from living in Eddie Hyland park.
The park, which is located directly across from BCF, has been home to a tent city filled with people left homeless after struggling to find affordable and available accommodation.
Brisbane’s housing market skyrocketed over the last few years with 67.7% price growth since the onset of COVID-19. That, and the University of Sunshine Coast that opened up in Petrie in 2020, means even shitholes such as Lawnton and Strathpine now have million dollar houses.
Of course, none of these figures matter when it comes to the most pressing matter affecting Lawnton residents – seeing homeless people.
Yesterday morning, a dozen police and council officers were seen bulldozing homeless people’s tents as part of the city of Moreton Bay’s new law to ban homelessness.
The council has defended themselves by stating that not only did they warn people to leave, but that they also ‘referred by council to specialist homelessness services and the Department of Housing and Public Works’ – though they might be waiting a while, seeing as there 4,521 people on the social housing waiting list.
BCF Lawnton will now face fines of up to $8,000 if staff members are seen selling tents to anyone who looks ‘unhoused’, ‘dishevelled’ or ‘completely devoid of all hope.’

On Friday the selloff in BHP started and Monday morning first one up while others were crashing was Rio Tinto. Rotschilds always keep the Rio Tinto price up, they don’t give away any bargains. They owned it since the 1880s. Probably they sold BHP to save on currency swaps then bought it back later. Its only the sheep that get frightened out of the market, not the lions. The sheep only visit the watering hole out of survival necessity, but its not their natural environment: they are never comfortable there. But lions love their environment, whether rain or shine, – its our home.
Take a look at the chart, and you’ll see why we love drawdowns, the bigger the better. After every drawdown, without exception, – the market ‘always’ surges to new ‘all time highs’ (ath). Every single time since records began: same ‘ole, same ‘ole.
So with everything ‘on sale,’ the future can be bought at a discount to premium. Only the superstitious and irrational run away from a sale.
As can be expected, the stupid sheep will ditch their wealth and scatter, just like that, unquestionably, and irrationally, just because the news man frightened them to do so, – and just because of a few necessary micro-adjustments to the global economy.

In the macroeconomic sense, the affected nations will need to protect their collapsing economies, so if you hear a Brrring sound in the distance, don’t be alarmed, its just the money printers going full steam ahead.
To prop up their struggling economies, the Central Banks will now have to introduce sufficient liquidity into their economies, and especially, those nations whose industrial plants are now relocating back to the U.S..
As the tariff end game involves returning manufacturing back to the U.S., and a return to free trade, then needless to say, the Asian markets are going to suffer most. As it stands, the Asian nations will have to implement liquidity infusions into their economies to make up the loss, hence, liquidity is going to flood the economy and global inflation will expand.
What this also means is that certain strategic assets are going to hit the stratosphere, and of course, these are currently on sale, but not for long: what’s not to like?
The market will soon respond with its usual V-shaped recovery, whilst the consumers get their savings pummelled with the new inflationary by-product of liquidity.
Well at least some us don’t lose any sleep.

According to the agreement, which was drawn up by the WEF and the United Nations (UN), food production is causing “global warming” and must be eliminated.
To “save the planet” from “climate change,” globalists insist, farms must be shut down across the world.
The WEF agreement sets targets for how much farmland each nation must eliminate in order to comply.
Under the guise of reducing “methane emissions,” thirteen nations have signed the pledge to engineer global famine by gutting agricultural production and shutting down farms.
Announced earlier this year by the WEF’s Global Methane Hub — a cabal of crisis engineers who exploit public panic to destroy the world food supply — those thirteen nations are:
