From Greens Senator Penny Allman-Payne senator@pennyallmanpayne.com
I am reaching out to you today as you have previously contacted my office with concerns regarding the Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2024.
I wanted to let you know that today my Greens colleagues and I have announced our opposition to the Bill and are calling for the government to withdraw it in its entirety.
We have heard evidence from experts, lawyers and the community that the Government’s approach doesn’t get to the heart of tackling the harms of mis- and disinformation. There are serious concerns that handing responsibility over to tech platforms to self-regulate what is true or false will likely have unintended consequences that undermine the policy intent.
Greens’ opposition means the bill cannot pass the Senate. The Government has failed to address the significant concerns that have been raised by many in the community, and the Greens are calling on the Government to withdraw the bill.
This Bill doesn’t actually do what it needs to do when it comes to stopping the deliberate mass distribution of false and harmful information, and punishes individuals while giving media moguls like Murdoch an exemption.
I want to thank you for contacting my office and that of other Senators. We have received thousands of emails since the Bill was first proposed back in late 2023. It is so important that elected representatives are hearing from their community on issues like this one, and it is vital that we hold the government to account when their legislation falls short or grossly misrepresents community needs.
As such, the Greens will be opposing the Bill, and we hope that the government listens to community concerns and withdraws the legislation.

Oh dear, this is Lidia Thorpe-level reasoning, isn’t it? Block the bill because it’s just not extreme enough.
It’s stories like this the Grubberment don’t want you sharing!

Not all the Greens are totally stupid. Some only pretend to be.
Yes Joe, just had another thought. The twats gave the public, including all of the usual suspects in gov depts 24 hours to make submissions. What’s the bet 99% of subs were from pist-off Aussies, subs that will never see the light of day. Too funny.

You’re right on the money today and crooked Klaus Swab protege Sarah Hanson-Young has said as much

The Greens are either clueless or very cunning, eg, they’re either in cohoots with Labor to delay the Bill, or they think this will get them some extra votes next election. Obvious bob, thanks again. At least the Restricting Opinions Bill is delayed. It reminds me of the news this last week where Labor intends to keep cash alive. I wonder what the Sportsbet odds are on that happening for more than 6 months. I think Labor just says stuff to calm the pond of public debate.
Hehehe… the Greens appear to be holding out for a wider, Total Information Control Bill. Seems their objection might be that it DOESN’T GO FAR ENOUGH.
Where do they stand on environmental things such as stopping the geoengineering, weather changing chemtrail phenomenon that’s gone beyond stupid?

As I see it –
Autograph versus Signature – sig- nature
Sig in Hebrew means a moving away. In the case of signature – from nature. In my mind a sig-nature alludes to a Zombie or a corporate citizen
Strong’s Hebrew: 5509. (sig or sug) — a moving back or away, dross
Sig = A moving away from nature
A flesh and blood living being would autograph their name, not sign it.
Sigil – Wikipedia

A sigil ( / ‘s?d??l /) [1] is a type of symbol used in magic. The term usually refers to a pictorial signature of a deity or spirit (such as an angel or demon ). In modern usage, especially in the context of chaos magic, a sigil refers to a symbolic representation of the practitioner’s desired outcome.

A brief history of sigils. The word sigil derives from the Latin sigillum meaning “seal” and is likely also related to the Hebrew segula meaning “word, action, talisman”.The plural of sigil may be sigilla or sigils.. In Medieval systems of ceremonial magick systems, a sigil was the symbol of a specific entity, an angel or a demon which allowed a magician to summon and control the entity.

For the Sigil, LeVay put together a variety of satanic and gnostic elements, creating a true representation of the nature of the church. The Sigil of Baphomet consists of an inverted pentagram with Baphomet’s head inside. The head and the pentagram are inside two concentric circles containing the word “Leviathan” in Hebrew.
A very good document explaining the fraud of the Courts.
You will see the Parliamentarians banging on about legislation to bring change, but that legislation is al Admiralty, and owned by the BAR Association. It is not Common Law, by any stretch.
The American experience, but applicable here:

My reply to the Senator:
Thanks, Senator Payne
My recent thinking on legislation is that if legislation is not in the express public interest then it is inapplicable and worthless.
Legislation is private law, in that legislation is not law that is “consented to” by the general public, who have no say in that
legislation, the latter being passed by a vote of the Members of the House only-the people are not consulted, for example, via
referendum, for example, and the Members seldom consult their community. That is pretty private, for sure.
Secondly, the outcomes of the Misinformation Bill are likely to be quite arbitrary, in the much-mentioned Ministry of Truth
manner, with a panel of unelected peopel deciding what is true or not, with those people not having to divulge their own prejudices
and allegiances, and so on, which is a bit like an expert talking head being quoted in a current affairs program whom we might ask:
“Well, whose expert is this, and where the hell did he/she emerge from?”
The Misinformation, and more importantly, the Digital ID Bill would change the way we live, the latter being a social engineering
for which there is no head of Power in our Constitution, making it an unlawful Bill that should never have even got into the Lower
House for a start.
And why the government of the day thinks it has a right to my personal information is beyond me, especially as cyber space is an
inherently insecure domain, as back doors are built into every computer operating system, rendering privacy in cyber space a mere
figment of the imagination.
And then there is the agendas of individual Member of Parliament, many of which were never hidden.
To be brief, the Member’s job is to “…act in the best interests of their constituents…” only; and the Constitutionally-contracted joc of
the government of the day is to quote our Constitution, act to ensure that their actions ensure “…peace, order ad good government…”,
those terms needing no express definition.
I am glad that the Greens have “seen the light”, because we o not want 2024 to become the legendary 1984 f the great novel.
And in terms of our youth and misinformation and disinformation, the run has been left a bit late, as the genie was let out of the bottle
at the start, an example of that being my old secondary school and the horrendous number od suicides at that school due t cyber-bullying:
https://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au/news/geelong/questions-raised-over-the-suicide-deaths-of-three-western-heights-students/news-story/ccbfd7f5b202549f419464db25e57e1c
If our governments were going to do anything, that time would have to have been, at a minimum, the time-eleven years ago.
And Senator Payne needs to be reminded that the elites never let their kids go near a mobile phone because of the addictive nature of
the things, which are the most addictive gizmo ever invented, relying on the fundamental need of peopel to socialise and communicate,
as we are, innately, social animals.
And in that regard, Daniel Andrews and the lockdowns stymied a whole generation of our youth, by unnecessarily isolating them from each
other.
I n any event, I congratulate the Greens on their stance, and look forward to the peopel having the ability to make their own determinations
of what they believe is or is not true or not.
As Paul Watson, one of the founders of Greenpeace said, and I quote the meme: “It doesn’t matter what is true, it only maters what peopel believe to be true.”
And that goes for any proposed Ministry of Truth, too, I am sure you will agree
‘Thank you’ to the greens for opposing the Bill, even if it was for the wrong reasons….it is to our advantage!
WE DO NOT WANT THE MAD BILL PASSED…..EVER!
IT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE BRIBING STARTS. THE TERRORIST LABOR PARTY WILL DO ALL THEY CAN TO GET THIER BILL OF EVIL THROUGH.
It’s about time some of the Greens senators wake up and rehumanise themselves, use their brains to work out CO2 is plant food and 0.04% changing the weather is total bullshit with a huge profit motive. I think a few like Steel-John the Ukraina warmonger and Adam Bant are probably beyond hope but if people have an epiphany as claimed by Saul/Paul who knows what will come of it, they would potentially have the ability to claim the centre off the ALP which is an unmitigated disaster for itself but a great success for the nation as everything they do is insane and wrong, we can now easily see they all belong in the trash can and hopefully will find themselves in there asap
It is good that the Greens are opposing it, but they should be expressing absolute disgust in the Labour Government for attempting to remove what are rightly owned public freedoms.
Only ROGUE GOVERNMENT would try to cut the tongues out of public debate.
We, the people will not forgive this destructive attitude of power grabbing politicians.
You political ‘elites’ as you think of yourselves, had better shape up or ship out, or you will face severe penalties.
The sovereignty of Australia is we, the people, not you the government.
Communications Legislation Amendment (Combatting Misinformation and Disinformation) Bill 2024. is all bad news and must NOT pass
