Online Safety Amendment (Social Media Minimum Age) Bill 2024
To say I am deeply concerned about the Social Media Minimum Age Bill 2024 is an understatement, particularly the Gestapo tactics being used to implement a Bill which has not even been available to read yet; and where the public has only been given 24 hours to put submissions in. Furthermore, Australia is the guinea-pig, being the first nation to introduce this sort of legislation for the UN. It also embeds UN legislation over and above our Common Law rights and our Common Law Commonwealth Constitution – i.e. this sets out to subvert our Constitution in lieu of the UN.
This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. What is the rush, except for the fact the government is trying to hide the ramifications from us — AGAIN?
We have had enough of that with governmental Covid-19 policies implemented to transfer the wealth of the country to the likes of Big Corporates, Big Pharma, Big Banking/Finance etc. That is just coming home to roost now, and of course, is not even been attributed to Covid-19 jabs, lockdowns, and business closures.
As Parliamentary representatives and employees of the people you seek to impose this upon, you should know that it is my will that you immediately reconsider, and totally withdraw from it.
Additionally, it is my will that you do not go down this track further, UNLESS the Legislation is available to everyone to consider for a lengthy period of time, and COMMENT on it similarly. Just allowing 24 hours to make comment is truly ridiculous, and reeks of Nazism, not the Constitutional Monarchy we are SUPPOSED to be.
This is a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing: a Digital ID Bill in disguise. Anyone OVER the age of 16 or 18 will, by default, be ultimately required (even if it is brought in in small, incremental steps) to use facial recognition to digitally verify their age, or upload a biometric facial scan to access social media platforms; or sign in with Digital ID, which is apparently set to come into force on December 1st this year.
I am TOTALLY OPPOSED to any form of Digital ID. Firstly, it totally discriminates against aged people, disadvantaged people, and people who do not use, or have access to “smart” media, and this, once in, will absolutely be advanced to encompass anything “government”, for sure. I am old enough to have voted against the Australia Card, and yet everything we voted against in this legislation which was rejected in all States by a majority in each State, has now been implemented by stealth!
Governmental “protection” is a sham – we saw that during Covid: asking adults, grandparents etc to have a poisonous jab in order to “protect the kids” from something which they were not even at risk from!! It has now been comprehensively proven in a large study by many Drs, researchers and academics that in near or immediate deaths after vaccines the mean time from vaccine to death was 14.3 days, so it was all a giant scam upon the people. The so-called vaccines did not protect anyone at all – and yet governments are now STILL recommending people have “boosters” for something that came in the introduced jab itself! That in itself is criminal.
Likewise, NO GOVERNMENT will be protecting us by asking us to use Digital ID to “protect the kids”. This is just the Government USING THE KIDS to lasso those over 18 into COMPLIANCE for governmental programs, such as the Smart Cities which are being promoted, and the SDGs being implemented from Federal and State Governments and NGO’s down to local Councils – a program emanating from the United Nations, as did Covid-19.
I do NOT trust the UN, and particularly after Covid, ANY of our own governments or governmental departments, which have demonstrably worked against us in every way, and which are now, through hugely subsidising the ideological dream of “green renewa-bull power”, are transferring wealth from mums and dads to huge corporations which often have co-governmental ownership. We stupid mugs are paying for these subsidies; and paying again in power prices more than 4 times higher than it was previously. Businesses are going OUT OF BUSINESS because of high power prices, losing their hard-earned equity to governmental ideology.
Now, we who are over the age of 16, are being deceived into thinking this Bill applies to under 16’s, when it will clearly require submission to the cashless Digital ID world of subversion and overseeing by faceless bureaucrats or AI programs.
No thank you. I do not wish to have this Trojan Horse’s content imposed upon me, or any as yet unsuspecting Aussies in order to manipulate and force the whole nation into accepting what will clearly be a Digital ID Bill by default.
There are so many risks to this type of legislation – from alienating teenagers who rely on it for a means of communication at the very least, but most of all, the PRIVACY risk of governments and their agencies collecting more and more of our data, for what is most definitely – at this stage – premature and undisclosed legislation.
It also implies that the GOVERNMENT is acting as the OWNER of the nation’s children, when in fact, PARENTS are responsible for their children, NOT government. The government MUST NOT continue to assume this role, as they have been gradually doing since the 80’s at least, and especially since adopting the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child – where it is assumed the State, not the Parent, owns the child. So, here we are, full circle, Nanny State Government not only owns the child but subverts the parents by straight out trickery and underhandedness.
If governments must do something then liaise with the social media platforms to ensure it’s safer for children; or implement digital literacy programs in schools or for parents to work on with their children. Using “the kids” AGAIN to corral the adults into capitulating to this Trojan Horse by subverting them to accept surrender to such duplicity as that being proposed and RUSHED through is treacherous.
I object in the strongest possible terms.

I read your Geelong Advertiser linked article, that suggests some deaths could be copy – cat suicides; still one death is one too many.
The article portrays social media as evil and rolls out an Australian of the Year who was not party to the inquest into the tragic suicides, who then portrayed Main Stream Media as a saviour.
I see a pattern, do you?
It is well documented that troubled minds can be sent over the edge from mainstream media promotion of death related events; the suicided’s final hooray?
I wonder if the recent increase, against the previous 30 years trend in opposite sex couple homicides (as same sex couple homicides seems sacred ground not to be mentioned in todays’ inclusive society, it’s like they don’t exist 🤫)has been exacerbated by a lying Albo epidemic of toxic masculinity given air by MSM?
From personal experience last year, after three years of high school using tablets and hand writing only for making short notes, my Grandson’s school at the end of year nine, at short notice forced their students to complete a hand written examination that included a 1000 words critique of Shakespeare’s Macbeth; the reason, the school one of many, found out they were to be audited and would most probably lose public funding because they weren’t meeting the education department’s requirements for literacy.
Much stress caused to more than one student by an otherwise excellent school.
Yes the children love their habit forming not so smart devices; I’ve seen construction contractors roast apprentices first thing at daily tool box safety meetings, for being caught out in work hours having multiple breaks to check in with mates, only to conveniently turn a blind eye and contact the apprentices, send site plans, safety documents, daily time sheets for them to use and update throughout the day to the very same phones.
I wonder if time restrictions on electronic communication devices would be more beneficial to young people than total lockdowns; then again, zombie phones are not designed to benefit young people, but the beneficiaries of lockdowns and the technocratic system created to harness their finite life’s energy.
God bless digital ID! How else can we make sure that when someone’s digital savings and digital property are wiped out the right person is deleted? We wouldn’t want any cases of mistaken identity would we?

Dear Senate,
This Social Media Minimum Age Bill and its provisions are unacceptable. They should not proceed further.
Everybody is sick of your constant barrage of censorship bills and other woke agenda bills that actually have nothing to do with the public good handed down to you by a foreign entity like the WEF, the UN and or the WHO.
Please remove my name when you publish this.
My main arguments are:
The nearly $50 million dollar potential fines seem inappropriate because they are grossly disproportionate and do not correspond to the severity of any
infractions that may have occurred. They look decidedly like a new revenue raising avenue for a desperate, broke government and puts an unnecessary burden
on platforms to police something that is the antithesis of their creation of free speech for all.
Removing all access to social media can isolate children from certain communities and points of view that teach youngsters how to discern right from wrong and how to think for themselves. It deprives them of valuable study material for their education that is quite a part from the inadequate woke
indoctrination you provide at government schools. Not all experiences on social media are negative; it can be a source of connection and positivity and
creativity for young minds.
This is clearly a sneaky, back door way for the govt to implement their enormously unpopular Digital ID for everybody dressed up as some “do gooder”protection for children. It’s the equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig.
My privacy rights are at risk because the bill requires me to constantly provide
my ID for online platforms, significantly increasing the potential for my personal information to be compromised. Let’s face it, Australian tech is
infamous for never being able to keep anything private, safe or secure online.
It’s always being hacked. If it isn’t being hacked it’s being abused by the very people entrusted with keeping it for their own purposes like what happened with the notorious, failed Covid app.
The Australian government is just not capable of creating a system that can keep our private information safe. Nor is the
government worthy of the trust.
The Bill undermines my free speech by potentially causing social media platforms
to cease operations in Australia, leaving me without a key channel for expressing my views. Furthermore, the vague language in the Bill could lead to platforms censoring my content out of fear, stifling my ability to share my
thoughts openly. It will have a chilling affect across the board. It won’t stop people from having opinions that the government doesn’t like. They’ll just go
underground and leave the internet as a barren desert of cheap shopping devoid
of humanity and lively debate…. And you won’t have a democracy anymore.
I think the Bill is too vague because it doesn’t clearly define what an “account” is. This lack of clarity can lead to confusion and misinterpretation.
We need more specific language to ensure everyone understands.
Ultimately this is just another censorship bill that gives a very opaque government far more personal information than they can be trusted with. It’s ripe for abuse.
It’s clearly not about protecting kids because if it was you wouldn’t be bombarding their little minds with extreme left LGBTQ and Tranny indoctrination in schools that even a majority of those classes don’t identify with. You wouldn’t be shoving hard core porn in their faces in the classroom when they’re
too young to understand and you wouldn’t be confusing their innocent, impressionable minds
with gender dysmorphia and funding puberty blockers and trans operations at such
a young age. You wouldn’t be imposing highly sexualised men in dresses in drag queen story time. Drag is a lot of fun in a night club but it’s adult entertainment that is inappropriate for children.
Just a few years ago what you are doing to the children in schools would be classed as child abuse!
The contradiction in the institutional damage you’re doing to children in schools as opposed to your supposed reasoning for limiting their access to the
internet doesn’t match up.
You might not be able to see through your own propaganda but the rest of Australia certainly does. Especially parents with
children.
For a government with a huge trust deficit with the Australian people you really seem to be rushing a whole lot of legislation through that would just make the
population distrust you even more.
Do you want to win the next election or not?
Just uphold the constitution, fix the economy you’ve ruined, stop the over immigration that’s caused the housing crisis and get back to basics. Its not your job to rob parents and children of their freedoms in a democracy by
pretending to be a nanny… with a big stick.

We have the Commonwealth Constitution of Australia as the law of our country and there has not been a referendum to make changes that require politicians to even take note of anything the United Nations or W.H.O. directs them to do. That Constitution is the instruction manual for our politicians and their learned judges and lawyers to follow. If these people cannot do the job they are employed to do set them out on the street, jobless. They are contracted and paid (very well) to follow the Constitution.

I doubt that the long prophesied Globalist “King of Kings” and the “divinely ordained” cult are envisaging multilateralism, save for gracing some regional vassals and servants with the responsibility of minding the cattle for them.
Multilateralism would be grossly inconsistent with their well established protocols and their spiritual fulfillment, not to mention their “divinely” inspired, sacred duty to Mammon.

No, Cataclysmic-san: they’re mesmerised by their Zombie-phones.
A supervisor at the local TAFE college in Geelong, which has a cooking school that chef’s apprentices from all over the state attend for the r bloc release cooking training- told me, some six years ago, that the youngsters training there are so stuck on their mobile phones that the phones are their primary means of communication.
I was at the restaurant the TAFE college runs which the apprentices man and that the public can attend-it’s a good deal: best cuts of meat, etc., cheap.
The supervisor told me, when I said to her that the young fellow waiting on our table was a bit shy, that thees kids can’t hold a normal conversation and that it is all text messages with them.
Sad, but, by the looks, true.
The alarm bells rang about social media problems years ago, but were not attended to.
Some punters here might remember reading that the elites would never let their kids near a mobile phone but it is okay for the great unwashed.

I’m not sure that our Senators would like directions from We the People of Australia on such short notice, but they are our public servants, they accept the legal tender we pay them, they are indebted to We the People, so we can cordially communicate with them our instructions via their public contact details linked to their names on the above link.

I am amazed…well, perhaps not surprised….at the ignorance shown by some people to the dangers of Moderna and Phizer vaccines…especially the kids’ one, as exposed by Port Hedland Council, W.A.
They sent letters and scientific proof to all Councils in Oz.
I brought the matter up with our local Council Forum , giving the officials a one page screed summerising the Port Hedland letter, and the later reply I received by email from the secretary who sends out the newsletters ,was that SBS said that the Port Hedland info was misinformation!

The whole thing is a digital ID scam. Its pure Communism (control). They want that brought in by Dec 2024. Unfortunalty there are more sheep than there are active awake in this world. Active awake is actively writing non consent to all government officials. The rest of the awake just sit and say oh other people will sort it out. And as for the TV brainwashed, they are reason everything the corrupt governments want to bring in, comes to fruition. It’s the ones who comply that cause everything to happen. If everyone didn’t comply how are the governments going to enforce it? There are to many people and only a few of them. So make an effort to write in and DO NOT COMPLY. Send to multiple members in government, Non-Consent Notices. Send first 1 give them 14 days then send it again the same one put Default notice Non Consent and what another 14 days and send the Final Notice. Ensure you use registered post envelopes and in the second and final notices you include your scanned copies of the postal receipts from the previous notice sent as evidence. Now you have given them 3 notices. These notices serves to ensure that parties you sent them to are aware of your non consented, and they have to take that into account. Every member in government act as Trusties for the people, they are limited to what they can do and a trustee cannot order the beneficiaries to do anything they have to get you (the beneficiary) to consent. So if we don’t get enough people doing it the majority wins by remaining silent they agree by acquaintance So everyone needs to write in there non consent to the Digital ID. Do it! Make a difference! Save your children from a life of compliance and slavery!

The government does not care about any of us which became very obvious during the plandemic and the introduction of the toxic vax.. They have lost all credibility and are not to be trusted in any way with anything to do with our welfare – because its not about our welfare at all, its about following their orders. Once again we are the guinea pigs.
This is all about surveillance, not just for young people – for everyone!
IF THIS THUGERY IS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN THERE IS ONLY ONE SOLUTION, STOP USING SOCIAL MEDIA AND CALL FOR A VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE AGAINST THE NAZI LABOUR GOVT, IMPEACH THE LOT OF THEM.

obvious_bob’s video on the Digital ID Bill explains that it is a social engineering initiative for which the federal government has no Head of Power to undertake.
Our Constitution’s Heads of Power grant the government of the day certain powers, and social engineering is not one of them, so the Bill is unlawful, the Constitution being the actual Law of the Land:
