Newman is a vocal opponent of wind farms and believes that the science of human-caused climate change is a “delusion.“
Newman has stated repeatedly that the science of human-caused climate change is a smokescreen for vested interests. He believes that the scientists who take part in the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (UNIPCC) have fooled the world into believing climate change can be caused by humans. A “compliant media” has helped to foster the “myth” of climate change, according to Newman.
“The CSIRO, for example, has 27 scientists dedicated to climate change. It and the Weather Bureau have become global warming advocates. They continue to propagate the myth of anthropological climate change.”
The Maldives have recently spent $1 billion upgrading airport and runway which is 6′ above mean sea level.
Unbelievable the ABC now has a chairman who can think and knows a little of science.

Keep asking yourself, Where is the sea level rising? Right around the Pacific and Indian oceans there are thousands of low lying islands, islets and atolls that are not experiencing any inundation (Think of the Maldives). Then ask yourself, Are the polar icecaps really melting or is it just seasonal freezing and thawing? Then ask yourself, Is a one degree increase in temperature over 100 years really a climate emergency? Ten times more people die each year around the world die from the cold compared to the heat. More CO2 and more warmth means a greener planet. As Maurice Newman says, “The CSIRO, for example, has 27 scientists dedicated to climate change. Gerard Henderson has explained many times that the ABC is a socialist collective and they do what they want to do regardless of the Board and the senior management.
Typically, Ita Buttrose chaired the Board for five years and defended the organization from attacks but on retiring she has suddenly turned around and announced that their coverage should be more even-handed. SHAME!
