you dont need modern weapons to defend or attack, go back and read history mate, look at the mujahedin of Afganistan they beat back superior forces with crude weapons, Alexander the great, the Russians and coalition forces of modern times could not pacify them, they all left with their tails between their legs. next example is Vietnam, basically crude weapons again ,lethal booby-traps, and hit and run tactics, the tunnel clearer’s were attacked in the tunnels with pitchforks and the like. its called improvisation. the next example is the IRA they employed small cells that did not know each other cell of about 4-5 men each once again hit and run,tactics, the next example are the partisan groups of WW2 they wreaked havoc amongst the occupying German troops, where there’s a will there is a way, its been proven time and time again through out history, that a well organized resistance will always prevail, the difference with a superior or occupying force is that the occupying force will not have the motivation and support that the locals will have, the next is propaganda very very affective General Giap used this very effectively during the Vietnam conflict, in short he took the war to the US via propaganda.
By resistance it doesn’t mean direct confrontation, but confrontation by indirect means, and gradually wearing and demoralizing the superior force down

For those with an interest, read up on the Voyager disaster. The ADF fielded LEGIONS OF BARRISTERS to block any compensation for the survivors of that tragedy. Government policy was literally to extend and delay and drag out any legal proceedings until all the survivors died either from their injuries or of old age. And that’s exactly what happened.
