Former President Donald Trump, at last, is the Republican Party’s presumptive presidential nominee, after notching a majority of the delegates to the GOP’s July convention.
Trump crossed the threshold of 1,215 delegates on Tuesday night, according to The Associated Press, as he won elections in Georgia, Mississippi, Hawaii and Washington, following a near-sweep of Super Tuesday states a week before.
The first candidate to enter the Republican presidential primary, Trump enjoyed front-runner status throughout the campaign, and his eventual nomination seemed inevitable for months as he dominated public polling and then early primaries.
His last remaining challenger, Nikki Haley, exited the race last week, after winning contests only in Washington, D.C., and Vermont.
Now, the race pits Trump against President Joe Biden, who also clinched his party’s nomination on Tuesday.
A redux of the Biden-Trump faceoff will test the limits of campaign finance and decorum in a modern presidential contest. Trump is currently in the lead, both in national and battleground polling in recent months, but he lags behind Biden in fundraising. He also faces a number of legal challenges ahead, including a trial over hush money payments to a porn star that begins in New York on March 25.
In a Super Tuesday speech from his Mar-a-Lago club — and before Haley had exited the race — Trump last week had already begun to call for the party to unite around him as the nominee.
“We want to have unity, and we’re going to have unity, and it’s going to happen very quickly,” Trump said.
For that to happen, Trump will have to persuade some Haley voters, who skewed independent, to back him in November. Haley has not endorsed Trump, and at least some of her supporters have told pollsters they will not support Trump in November.
But influential donors and the party infrastructure are already lining up behind the former president. Members of the Republican National Committee on Friday declared that Trump was the party’s presumptive nominee, doing so moments before Ronna McDaniel resigned as chair so that her Trump-selected replacement, Michael Whatley, could be installed. The committee also signed off on Trump’s pick for co-chair, his daughter-in-law Lara Trump.
Trump’s senior adviser Chris LaCivita is among the other Trump staff now running the RNC as Trump seeks to ensure the committee offers its full support in his general election rematch against Biden.
Republicans will gather in Milwaukee July 15-18, where Trump will formally be nominated. Trump’s delegates are bound by RNC rules to support him in the first round of voting on the nomination.
Trump and Biden both have already pivoted to the general election and are aggressively campaigning, including this week over Social Security and other government spending.
Meanwhile, the election of Trump in November will have a significant impact on Australian foreign policy, trade, climate change policies and military pacts.
While amorous Albanese is all over Biden he is totally unprepared for what is coming with a Trump Presidency. Trump when President barely tolerated the woke, leftie former PM, Malcolm Turnbull and it would appear he will ignore socialist Albanese altogether.
Australia’s military relationship with the US under Labor is in jeopardy and it would come as no surprise if the Trump administration tore up the AUKUS contract especially after Albanese’s submarine deal began to unravel this week.
US membership of NATO will go when Trump starts to rejuvenate the military weeding out the traitors in command and he could insist on the same treatment for the minuscule, woke Australian military if the ANZUS alliance is to survive.
Unfortunately for the Labor, Greens, Teals alliance Trump will wipe them like a dirty bum because of their woke policies and their subservience to the WEF, United Nations, and WHO which Trump will defund within a week of returning to the White House.
Labor has been in bed for too long with Biden and Trump will ensure their dirty linen finishes up in the bin.
It is too late for Albanese to switch sides even if he was capable and there is now no doubt that he will not survive the next election. Regardless, Trump would not tolerate such a woke idiot for a minute.
Opposition Leader Dutton will need to take a few handfuls of smart pills if he has to deal with Trump and the new administration.
Either way we are in for a torrid time.

The bitter truth of the matter is that the ‘real’ Government of the United States of America is the Federal Reserve Bank.
And the primary problem with this institute is that it’s only product is ‘debt:’ – it has no other product: – none whatsoever!
The by-product of the issuance of debt is inflation, and can only ever be inflation, so when the FED propagandists tell you they are tightening and lowering interest rates to reduce inflation, which they do year in year out, this is complete and unadulterated FED-Speak bullshit, as their only product is debt issuance which is ‘inflationary,’ – or to paraphrase, – ‘inflation creating.’
The Federal Reserve produces inflation, and nothing more. That is its single function.
And what is America’s biggest global export?, yes indeed, – ‘Inflation.’
Because 80% of all U.S. dollars exist outside of America’s borders, when the FED issues more dollars, as it does on a massive scale every day, the currency is debased further and massive inflation is exported throughout the World: which is precisely why the World is impoverished via its indebtedness to the real Government of America, – the Federal Reserve Bank.
The ‘incorrectly perceived,’ but popularly acknowledged American Government, and its spokesman, the president of the United States, and all State departments, including the so called Deep State, are all irreversibly ‘indebted,’ and thus subservient to this debt issuing institute, – each and every one of them is beholden to the Federal Reserve.
Only when this globally destructive parasitical institute, or ‘instrument’ is permanently removed, can the legitimate, but long usurped Government of America be authoritatively reinstated.
Whether they like it or not, endorse it or not, – all those who occupy the Resolute Desk inherit this problem.

I looked into this and people are saying Trump is talking about ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine which he promoted and was strongly criticised for during the Covid19 shitshow.
Many health professionals now have come out and said these kill the parasites that cause cancer. The looney left marxist banned people gaining access to both of the above mentioned in the Western World. Perhaps it’s now time to ask yourself why.
Another said he is talking about a Hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, azithromycin, doxycycline and zinc vaccine.
Thats what I have come up with so far from doing a little research.

I’m a firm endorser or travel through which to gain a closer understanding of reality. Reading books or watching media doesn’t even come close, not even close!, – and the difference is clearly apparent when comparing comments based upon ‘experienced reality’ with mentally fabricated ‘opinions.’
