How sad this news of public servants stress – great country this Australia, then we have the treaty

The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says the decision for Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk to not implement a state treaty follows the upcoming state election. Ms Elsworth said the majority of Queenslanders were a resounding No to the Voice to Parliament and a state treaty would not be popular for Annastacia Palaszczuk. “Annastacia Palaszczuk is in a lot of trouble in the polls; she knows this is not popular,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “I think both parties know they’ve got to go with what voters want and the voters do not want this.” Annastacia Palaszczuk said she would not host a state treaty if there was no bipartisan support for the state Liberal Party.
