Telstra claims standing directly under a small 5G cell on a street light pole, tests showed EME* more than 500 times below the mandatory safe levels
From Telstra
‘Small cells’ are an important part of our mobile network, providing additional capacity in busy cities and metropolitan areas without the visual impact of a full mobile base station. They also enhance mobile coverage in regional and rural areas, often at a fraction of the cost of a mobile tower while still providing effective service to where it’s needed.

Small cells, sometimes referred to as ‘mini base stations’, are small enough that you might have already seen one in the suburbs around you without realising – they’re generally made up of one or two small antennas and a small equipment cabinet, typically installed on existing infrastructure like light poles, bus shelters, advertising billboards or payphone cabinets.
Because they’re compact and unobtrusive, small cells can be installed where a large tower or antenna might not be suitable. They typically provide mobile coverage to an area of around 200 to 400 metres from the cell itself, meaning they can be installed discreetly in busy commercial areas and suburbs without causing a significant visual impact.
We’re all using more data than ever on our mobile devices, and more devices of all kinds are being connected to our network every day. Small cells help us maintain the best performing network for you, and to meet the future data and connectivity demand that technologies like 5G will bring with them.
In our cities and suburbs, we’ve used small cells for years – since the 2G era, more than 25 years ago – to help handle the ever-increasing demand for mobile coverage and capacity. A small cell on a telegraph pole or street light helps to extend 4G coverage into a nearby apartment block, and small cells at city intersections manage the data demands of the thousands of workers that stream past on weekday mornings and afternoons.
We’ve installed small cells in many metropolitan areas, but also in regional and rural locations where it’s not feasible to construct a mobile base station. At Adventure Bay, opens in a new window on Bruny Island off the coast of Tasmania, for example, we’ve installed a small cell at the beach to allow visitors to share pictures and videos on social media, as well as to make calls and send messages to friends and family around the world.
In the most remote areas of Australia, we even use small cells connected to satellite backhaul to bridge the coverage gap, opens in a new window – bringing mobile connectivity to areas that have never had coverage before and that do not have the fibre infrastructure in place to suit a mobile base station installation. A satellite small cell already helps connect the town of Winton, opens in a new window in Queensland – a sheep and cattle industry hotspot for the Central West region, as well as Australia’s ‘dinosaur capital’, opens in a new window – to the world.
Are small cells safe?
We’ve done extensive testing on electromagnetic energy (EME) around small cell installations, using independent accredited EME assessors, to fully answer this important question. Small cells use low power levels and are designed to comply with Australia’s mandatory EME safety standards, and our testing shows that EME levels near small cells are very low – far below EME safety limits, which themselves have a significant safety margin built in.
Using the example of a small cell in a metropolitan area providing extra mobile coverage and capacity to local homes and businesses as an example, our independent testing shows EME levels that are less than 0.2% of the EME safety limits – more than 500 times below the mandatory safe levels. Standing directly under a small cell on a street light pole produced the same result of less than 0.2% of the EME safety limits.
Even when a small cell is loaded with traffic in a busy area, EME levels are still very low and far within EME safety limits. We tested a small cell installed in a conference centre, and even at a close distance of two metres from the cell itself EME levels were more than 50 times below safe EME limits.
All small cells are specifically designed for the locations they are installed in. While we currently only use small cells for 4G network technology, we will use a range of different base station types including small cells for our ongoing 5G network roll-out. We only use small cells that meet the mandatory EME safety limits, and our independent testing shows real-world EME levels far, far below those safety thresholds.
Small cells give us a great, safe way to extend our 4G network coverage and capacity, including into areas around Australia that have never had mobile coverage before. For more information on our EME community advice, you can head to our Understanding EME website.

Is 5G safe?
Yes – In January 2020 Australia’s Chief Medical Officer said:
“I’d like to reassure the community that 5G technology
is safe. There is no evidence telecommunication
technologies, such as 5G, cause adverse health impacts.
This position is supported by health authorities in
Australia – such as the Australian Radiation Protection
and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA) – and around the
world, such as the World Health Organization (WHO).”
• Over 50 years of scientific research exists into the
possible health effects of the radio frequency signals
used for mobile and wireless services including 5G.
• Safety Standards – the existing EME safety standards
cover 5G, include children and are conservative
Assurances from the CHO and the WHO that 5G is safe are as reliable as both these entities claiming mRNA gene therapy is safe when it has killed millions worldwide.
Readers will have to make up their own minds.

It looks like the WEF has gone completely nuts… Together with the old TH in Delft in The Netherlands…
The WEF wants to lobotomize the human race into 6G antennas.

Not content with euthanizing grandparents, pumping mRNA into the food supply to poison your heart, normalizing pedophilia, and infusing you with cancer via Bill Gates’ highly carcinogenic mock meat, the WEF’s globalist elites now want you a full-frontal lobotomizing via dangerous new technology that will turn people into transmitters for 6G antennas — with or without your consent, Baxter Dmitry writes .
Humans can be used as part of an electromagnetic radiation (EMR) antenna system by wearing a special copper bracelet, according to a team of researchers from the World Economic Forum, affiliated with the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.

No we’re not. Really, we’re not. Who’s “we”?
IOW – you wish. Or as Austin Powers might say – “Dream on, baby!”.
“In our cities and suburbs, we’ve used small cells for years – since the 2G era, more than 25 years ago – to help handle the ever-increasing demand for mobile coverage and capacity.”
But it’s NOT really the “ever-increasing demand”, is it?
It’s REALLY the fact that you SHUT DOWN 2G to FORCE everyone onto 3G, so their perfectly adequate 2G devices don’t even work any more.
And we see the same BS strategy looming to force everyone onto 4G, 5G and 6G (if anyone is still alive by then).
So it’s NOT about “ever-increasing demand”, is it?
It’s REALLY about HERDING everyone to the place where you want them – or the place where your SCRIPT WRITERS want them to be.
BTW, Telstra, PLEASE don’t spruik on about “safety levels”. We weren’t born testerday, we KNOW you are spewing BS, that’s what we’ve come to expect from corporate ARSEHOLES such as you. Whatever claims you might make about “safety” have very little to do with the Truth, and are entirely subordinate to your strategic plans and the all-powerful PROFIT MOTIVE.

The Telstra statement is true in one respect, standing directly under an antenna is the safest option, for that particular antenna. But then what to do about all the other radiation from other antennas doing their beam forming thing, eg see page 3 ‘Fig 1: 3D Beamforming illustration’ – http s://www.researchgate.net/publication/339199417_A_3D_Beamforming_Scheme_Based_on_The_Spatial_Distribution_of_User_Locations/fulltext/5e4371baa6fdccd9659bd65f/A-3D-Beamforming-Scheme-Based-on-The-Spatial-Distribution-of-User-Locations.pdf

Another ‘safe and effective’ promise.
Lets not forget the Telecommunications claims comply with the Australian mandatory standards which are based only on heating (not cell damage, not flooding of calcium channels) and do not match the much lower standard requirements in other parts of the world.
If Mike is responsible for International standards then maybe he should look at that and get our standards a whole lot better.
They probably can’t because if they did, then what they want to do would not be able to go forward and they know that.
The use of 5th generation (5G) serves the purpose of the IoT (Internet of things), the agendas of Companies and the set up for Surveillance and other technologies.
It is not for the people.
They will blanket the Country in wifi and disrupt the electromagnetic frequencies of every living thing including animals and plants which also have their own energy networks/ion channels.
They care nought for the people.
They will be complicit in harm.
Those working in the Industry need to think long and hard about that.

@dumb jaffa, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a direct connection to these death towers. They can affect wildlife too. Their immune systems can be compromised from damaged cells from radiation, resulting in diseases etc.
Of course the so-called experts are unlikely to mention the obvious, more likely they will claim, that it’s more likely caused by the (engineered) climate change bs. So they can claim, that more people must be forced to move into tiny boxes (Smart Cities), in order to save the world etc.

Guys,
I have lived in Cobar, a small town in Central NSW for 27 years.
I work in the metals exploration industry & as such, do most of that walking around the bush.
I also generally put in a few km a day walking around Cobar to keep my old body from seizing up.
Over the last 2 Summers there have been a remarkable number of dead ducks turning up in the streets.
Last summer, I would have personally encountered 10 & heard of a few others.
However there was also a Barn Owl [ in my yard] dead overnight & a moor hen.
I have personally checked over the birds I have encountered & have found universally that they are un-marked & as far I I could determine, none showed any signs of vehicle impact. Also the distances that these birds were found from water bodies would make it unlikely that the deaths were as a result of either vehicle impact or impact with fixed obstacles [ trees, power lines etc.]
When this phenomena occurred again this Summer, I started asking other residents & specifically the Parks & gardens guys who mow the footpaths & road verges.
I was informed that one day around the Christmas 21, the record was ~20 dead ducks.
While I have on many occasions seen birds falling out of trees from extreme heat, it would appear that most [ or all ] of these birds die overnight.
i.e. I have found them mostly of a morning the are new & not stiff.
I guess there may be a disease or viral reason; but it is worth noting that the telecommunications tower at the Post Office in the centre of town had 5G arrays fitted around the middle of 2021.
I understand from a few web articles that we do not have real 5G phones available [ no 5G receiver enabled phones] , but the Smart Meter program is under way so I guess it will be running.
So the question I would like to pose is specifically to citizens of other small towns which may be recently 5G fitted & small enough to run on one node [ not the claimed network of micro repeaters we see as the plan for large cities with lots of high rise etc.]:-
Has anybody else had a similar water fowl die off?
Does anybody else have a plausible explanation?
Anyway, I’d look a bit suss walking around the streets at night with a tin or hard hat………..

“Safety standards” eh? Every tower should have an EME report (which includes the volts per metre measurement) in the arpansa site but have a look at what is in your area, esp if you are in regional FNQ. According to research done by Barrister Ray Broomhall for court cases, the level of v/m that causes cancer is only .3 to .4 micro tesla. IF the v/m is included in the tower EME report you check, you’ll see it is many more times that. Apparently the ‘standards’ that are used by arpansa date back to 1996 and certainly don’t include 5g and probably don’t cover 4g either.
Additionally, checking the arpansa site reveals not every tower has a EME report, not every report there includes the required information, some reports posted go back to 2016, and in one case, I found a particular exchange for a small town in FNQ that is licenced to run 18 Ghz (not the 3.5 Ghz of 5g – 18 Ghz!!) does not even exist in the arpansa site. With such a [deliberately] dodgy approach to safety or even following their own extremely outdated rules, I certainly don’t believe a damn thing arpansa, acma or telstra says.

Telstra’s blah blah, as unbelievable as usual. Anyone want to assess Telstras morality and ethics? Look no further than mobile phone credit.
Age pensioners who cannot afford plans, used to purchase credit for “Long Life”; which means they paid $30 credit voucher and used the phone frugally only for urgent matters, such as calling the doctor or family for help. Telstra saw sacred profit being avoided so eradicated the Long Life credit.
Desperate pensioners paid $20 to economise but found this was for one week. $30 now pays for one month tops.
OK, Telstra executives, consider this little thought. I believe Australia is headed for civil war, because of the cancellation of the Constitution and suspension of several laws to enable jab genocide. If and when civil war occurs, I will contact the generals and recommend that all Telstra executives be taught to fly, from their HQ top floor. I am also going to ask if I can watch.
I believe that when you reach 80 it is important that one sets targets to enjoy and this keeps one young.

Today, power levels used for RF transmissions are in the order of 10 to the power of 18, ie a billion times a billion, greater than natural background radiation levels. This quantum of radiation is the key reason for the rise in disturbed sleep in the short term and will be the reason for a rise in Alzheimers and other diseases in the long term. Signals are digital rather than analogue, compounding damages done. 5G is for AI interface with machines with a sideline of being useful as a directed energy weapon.
ARPANSA, in lockstep with the USA FCC, rates biological damage as only relevant in relation to a rise in temperature (1 degree C) on a plastic dummy named SAM over a 6 minute period.
Newsflash for Telstra, we are not SAM ie Specific Anthropomorphic Mannequin

Dear readers, I allege that not all but many people at Telstra Australia Science Dept., are LIARS. I further allege that many so-called scientists people there, “ could not lie straight in bed. I have spoken to the ARPANSA people many times, here in Victoria Australia, but they are terrified of telling the truth as to just how dangerous microwave radiation energy is coming from the 4G and now many 5G radiation ☢️ towers here in Australia and overseas and will not tell the truth, for fear of losing their jobs.
The Australian ARPANSA people keep on using and sticking to the ICNERP Findings of very many years ago which are hopelessly outdated now, by well over 40 years.
The peacefully demonstrating Green-ham Common women and men many years ago not far out of London were bravely demonstrating against the Atom Bomb tests which had been ongoing in several American deserts and also in the South Australian Desert of Maralinga, with others taking place off several small islands just off the Western Australian Coast.
The British Army and their War Department finally got so embarrassed and angry by the constant peaceful Greenham Common Marches that they ended up using a number of relatively-new army 5G Microwave generators to wickedly beam these powerful and damaging rays at the demonstrators. This was accomplished by the very high frequency and high intensity Microwave beams deeply and painfully burning the demonstrators skin. The political furore that this kicked up worldwide was so effective that these AtomBomb tests were finally curtailed.
Cheers, Richard Neville, ……. L.😀

Constant emf is not the only problem, these systems and smart meters with 5G are ‘pinging’ below human audible levels, and it’s a slow death if you are near, as I am. You can record this audibly with your phone, then zoom in with software like Wavepad sound editor (or similar) and you will hear and see the pings!
