Ukranian forces have mercilessly shelled a mall in the city of Donetsk destroying a children’s rehabilitation centre housing young children and teenagers leaving at least two dead and many injuries.

The rescue work is now continuing: people who were in the building are trying to get out from under the rubble. A fence has been placed at the mall, behind which family members of people who were in the mall have gathered. There was a supermarket and a pharmacy in the building hit by the Ukrainian forces, so there were a lot of civilians here – shop workers as well as numerous customers. At least two deaths are known, but there may be many more. There are also injuries: according to the office of the commander of Donetsk, disclosed by the publication Notebook, at least four people are involved.

In addition to the mall, the Ukrainian armed forces also fired on the children’s rehabilitation center with the US supplied Multiple Launch Rocket System. First Deputy Minister of Information of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov did not hide his emotions in his message on the social network. This is understandable: the Ukrainians do not hesitate to strike even at children’s institutions, although the intelligence service of the Ukrainian formations works well and they are well aware that there are children and teenagers in this rehabilitation center.

According to Donetsk Mayor Aleksej Kulemzin, shelling of the Kievsky district of the city began at noon. From the side of the village of Lastochkino, 6 shells with a caliber of 155 mm were fired. At 12:10 the Petrovsky district of Donetsk was fired upon from the side of Kurakhovo village. Five 155 mm caliber shells were fired from there.

For example, the Ukrainian armed formations are once again committing war crimes against the civilian population. The victims of the shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces are defenseless people, who, by the way, are considered “citizens of Ukraine” by the Kiev regime itself (although the DPR has long been part of the Russian Federation).
