Foot and mouth disease could become another scamdemic like Covid
Letter to the Editor
Once again the poor afflicted people of the ‘unlucky country’ face another beat up, this time it isn’t the Covid scamdemic, but foot and mouth animal virus.

Yes it is in Indonesia, but 800 miles of ocean separate us from it. Yes we should help them eradicate it. But no the only way we can get it is if it is deliberately introduced.
All political parties oppose restrictions on travel between here and there, but all are getting behind using this beat up to put more useless and expensive rules on cattle producers.
Just like the socialist criminals forced the useless and expensive electronic NLIS tracking on a industry that 99% of cattle producers rejected. But such Bankster owned, Judas goat entities like the NFF supported it and are now making ludicrous suggestions that livestock trucks be washed down after each consignment.
A strange thing happened back then. We had a panic over chemical “contamination” of meat which was the stalking horse used to force this impost.
But as soon as it was done, magic, no more contamination. Sounds like gun “massacres” pre-Port Arthur.
The National Party is running about pumping up the FMD hysteria. Anything that they are involved in has a strong odour of fish. From the destruction of the dairy industry onwards it is obvious they serve corporate and Schwab’s neo-racist goals.
All that they have achieved so far is to collapse cattle prices by 50% in a month, which our mostly foreign owned meat processor’s are loving all the way to the bank.
Labour loves it too as it may give them slightly lower food prices, leaving farmers once again subsidising the city consumers.
We just had 2 years of a successful COVID scamdemic, and now they are doing it again with FMD. Don’t get sucked in again.

What is Indonesia doing to stem the spread of FMD?
While FMD sits squarely on the Papua New Guinea border with Indonesia, there are no reports of it entering the country yet. The Indonesian government launched a nationwide rollout of vaccinations in mid-June. It has also restricted the movement of livestock with the help of police and the army, launched a campaign to educate farmers on the risks of FMD, and a number of infected livestock have been slaughtered.
As of 26 July 663,919 livestock have been vaccinated, 6,275 animals have been slaughtered and 3,872 have died.
Last Tuesday, a spokesman for Indonesia’s FMD taskforce, Professor Wiku Adisasmito, told an online press conference that vaccination efforts were being hampered by a lack of supply and people to administer vaccines, as well as difficulties getting to farmers and keeping the vaccine at the correct temperature.
“In this case, the government will continue to evaluate, coordinate, and improve performance so that the vaccination coverage is higher,” he said.
According to the Red Cross, the government has stated 30 million vaccines are needed. But so far only 3m vaccines have been secured, with an additional 1m expected to arrive in Indonesia from Australia soon. The Indonesian government is planning to produce vaccines locally, with production expected to start by the end of August.
Rondong said controls restricting the movement of cattle between islands had been weak, with the spread likely exacerbated by Idul Adha, a major Islamic holiday on 10 July which involves the sacrifice of animals and sharing the meat with the poor.
What is Australia doing?
Enhanced biosecurity controls have been put in place at Indonesia’s borders with a particular focus on Bali, according to a spokesperson for Australia’s department of agriculture. The controls include disinfectant foot mats for departing passengers and awareness raising materials.
Both the Australian and New Zealand governments have ramped up biosecurity controls domestically, including strict screening of inbound mail and freight from Indonesia.
The Australian government has committed A$5m (US$3.46m) to support Indonesia’s response, as well as mitigation measures in Timor-Leste and Papua New Guinea where the disease has not yet been detected. The money will fund testing, personnel and logistics support for the distribution of vaccine.
Are farmers being compensated?
The government is preparing a compensation scheme for affected farmers, with Rp10,000,000 (about A$960) for each forced slaughter. But a spokesperson for the Red Cross said there were concerns this was not enough for farmers to recoup their loss, with cattle often as valuable as farmers’ houses.
Windsor said that unlike the FMD outbreak in the United Kingdom, where livestock were culled to get the disease under control, forced slaughter is difficult in south-east Asian countries given livestock are the “bank accounts for smallholder farmers”, and also a crucial source of nutrition for rural Indonesian children.
Two weeks ago, Windsor visited two farms in Indonesia where animals had been infected with FMD. In one farm of 18 cows, milk production had dropped from an average of 250 litres a day to 15 litres.
“It has a massive impact on productivity for the farms,” he said. “And they are very concerned for the animals suffering from the disease.” – The Guardian
Chinese military heading for Daru Island and the Torres Strait
LNP and Labor trying to attract foreign investment at the expense of our own industries. The LNP’s love affair with China is getting more intense
Katter’s Australian Party is demanding an immediate response and action from both State and Federal Governments regarding a Chinese company’s multi-million-dollar plan to encroach on territory 3 klms from Australia’s northern border.

Robbie Katter warns the State and Federal Governments they must act to halt this dangerous militarisation of the Torres Strait. China wants to build a $39 billion complex on PNG’s Daru Island 3 klms from Australian waters. Naturally the Chinese being honorable people would never think of making the proposed port and industrial facility a military installation. Their so-called fishing boats are equipped with the most sophisticated surveillance equipment available today.
Hong Kong-registered company WYW Holding Limited has lodged plans to build a new city on Papua New Guinea’s Daru Island, just kilometres from Australia’s border, which would include a seaport, resort and business and commercial zone.
It follows the revelation just three months ago that PNG signed a memorandum of understanding with a separate Chinese company to assess establishing a multi-million-dollar fisheries park on Daru.
“The PNG Government is saying it doesn’t know anything about the plans to build a city on Daru, but a letter was addressed to Prime Minister James Marape early last year from the Chinese company involved, and the Government is saying it won’t stop a big foreign investor from coming in and benefiting the locals,” KAP Leader and Traeger MP Robbie Katter said.
He condemned the plan as disgraceful and demanded a response from the Palaszczuk Government on whether it would advocate against the proposal.
“This is outrageous and I want to hear from our State Government as to whether it will advocate against this emerging encroachment on territory so close to our border,” he said.
Federal Member for Kennedy Bob Katter had called on the Foreign Minister to intervene and will use the next parliamentary sitting to ask the Federal Government what it’s doing to protect the region, known as one of the world’s busiest shipping routes and location of strategic importance to Australia and PNG.

Chinese warships could be a familiar sight in northern and eastern Torres Strait if the PNG Government allows them onto Daru Island
In the drawn-out wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Robbie Katter said it was essential that all levels of government committed to stabilising Australia’s assets and building up the sovereignty of the nation.
Last September, Mr Katter condemned the Federal Government’s preposterous plan to give foreign companies tax breaks to invest in Australia, claiming it would leave local industry dead in the ditch.
“I am appalled and flabbergasted by Peter Dutton’s announcement to offer enticements to foreign investment rather than save dying local businesses in our own backyard,” he said at the time.
“The KAP has been urgently calling for incentives and subsidies to ensure the survival of local industries, particularly manufacturing.”
The same month, the KAP called on both State and Federal Governments to pressure the Foreign Investment Review Board to stop the sale of now-liquidated Queensland mining company CuDeco Limited to China.
KAP intends to raise the issue of WYW Holding Limited’s plans to build a city on Daru Island when Parliament resumes at the end of the month.
Manus Island; the real story without the Greens and ALP hysteria

Australia does not want these so-called illegal immigrants to enter the country. The Federal Government supported by the ALP allowed 1000 immigrants a day to enter Australia in 2017 ie, 360,000 immigrants whose background is impossible to check
Manus Island violence, sexual assault and regular bashings of staff by inmates
by Alanah Robinson, whose husband worked at the centre
My previous Facebook post has been taken down. I find it interesting that it has seemingly breeched FB community standards for attacking someone’s race or ethnicity when not once did I do that. Apparently, it’s not OK to criticise violent behaviour. I would like to point out that I immigrated here from a Muslim majority country, I’m not white and spent many years in PNG.
Due to the recent spike in publicity surrounding the Manus Regional Processing Centre, I feel that I must speak up. First of all, whether or not I think that the men in the centre are refugees, asylum seekers, illegal immigrants or little green men from Mars is irrelevant to what I am about to share:

A staff member of the Manus Island detention centre speaks out about sexual assault and physical violence against the local population. Staff members were subjected to violent physical and sexual assaults on a daily basis. A doctor was almost killed by strangulation.
For some time my husband worked at the centre. He, his former work colleagues, local staff, female and male were subjected to violent assaults and even assaults of a sexual nature on a daily basis; with my husband having been assaulted DOZENS of times.
The staff there were spat at, some being knocked unconscious and beaten whilst incapacitated, another was struck from behind with a metal bar (being partially scalped from the attack), chairs, rocks and poles were all used as weapons against the staff which, included females. There was even a recent incident of a female doctor surviving a strangulation attempt; these are just some of the hundreds of examples…..
There have also been numerous incidents involving the local populace, including children that have had physical attempts of a sexual nature made against them, by men staying in the centre. Despite what some elements within the media and politics would have you believe, they were able to leave and access places outside the centre, including beaches, villages and towns. Further to this almost one thousand of these men have elected to return home to their country of origin. Some of those who chose to remain on the island had to be escorted when leaving the centre as they had been identified as being high risk repeat sexual offenders… LET THAT SINK IN FOR A MINUTE…. This group of men have been caught using lollies and chocolates in an attempt to lure young children into their accommodation, for purposes I would shudder to imagine, with one of these men being recently charged for the sexual assault of a ten year old child.
The men at this centre have been coached by advocates in Australia on how to cultivate an image of who they are, and of their conditions that would best serve their political aims in Australia and abroad. They have for years now deliberately provoked the local population, routinely making threats, throwing rocks and defaming the local culture, race and the PNG nation itself. This type of deliberate and concerted behaviour has naturally elicited a reaction from the people of Manus Island and has helped to achieve the (false) narrative that Manus Island was an unsafe place to live.
My heart is breaking for the Manus Island people, as it is for every staff member, many of whom are Australian and New Zealand citizens that have had to endure sustained verbal and physical abuse.
After hearing so many first-hand accounts, I am grateful for the mental and moral resilience of the men and women who have been tasked with the difficult job of maintaining order within the centre, and hope that they have not suffered in their mental health at having to witness such depravity by these perpetrators.
Knowing now what I do, I could hardly care less about the “plight” of these rapefugees, where they have come from, their culture or religion – my thoughts are only for the people of Manus Island and Australia.
I find it interesting that here in Australia many women leading the protests – determined to put pressure on the government to bring these low life’s here…..why is that? Why are these particular women making excuses for the violence against fellow citizens and ignoring the sexual assault of CHILDREN?!
The men there, in collusion with advocates from Australia, created a Facebook page (thankfully now removed) dedicated to finding out and posting the addresses of staff members’ family homes here in Australia (after viewing this page I was deeply disturbed by its content and its implications). The page contained images, locations and was threatening in nature. With this in mind the expatriate and local population in addition to the staff, all had threats made against their families (wives, girlfriends, parents and children) of a graphic, sexual nature…
So if you are a person who has a good heart and has been deceived into having sympathy for these young men and seek to bring them to Australia, I implore you to make decisions based not on emotion but on the raw tactile situation and make these decisions with your head. We are lucky to live in a safe country – lets keep it that way!
There is deep seated misogyny, violence and an often paedophilic nature that permeates their culture which is at odds with our values, that which we try to uphold, as Australians. We cannot hold them to a standard which they themselves have no desire to be a part of. We are also lucky to live in a country that allows for different ideas and opinions, but in the name of self-preservation, for the sake of ALL our families and children; if you are seeking to import these men, then your right to an opinion is directly endangering the public (particularly the families – myself included) should your ideals be reached.
