INDIAN media believe a Chinese construction project in Tibet along the Trishuli River may have contributed to the massive flash flood that left 35 Australians, including two boys, among nearly 1500 missing in the Rasuwa and Nuwakot regions near Tibet border as the death toll grews to more than 160 overnight.
A massive and violent flood of water, mud and rocks swept through the Lhende Khola river valley, engulfing villages and destroying homes and critical infrastructure. At least 19 bridges and about 40km (25 miles) of roads were washed away.
Our featured Indian media channel said the collapse of a glacier triggered an earthquake in the region where China is developing border infrastructure, including the Gyirong Port and Xiaokang (moderately prosperous) border defense settlements, by cutting into the hills near the headwaters of the Trishuli River system in Tibet.
Critics and various groups in Nepal and Tibet have warned that heavy hillside excavation and altering of natural river paths destabilized fragile mountain slopes.
Gyirong itself was devastated by a powerful wall of water, rocks and mud. Video footage showed dozens of people fleeing the multi-storey building at the Tibet-Nepal border suddenly being engulged in the debris that completely obliterated buildings, swept away lines of buses, and destroyed the crucial Gyirong Port border checkpoint and its connecting cross-border bridge.
Satellite imagery showed that a substantial section of the lower end of the glacier broke away at an elevation of about 5,200 metres (17,000 feet), plunging about 1,200 metres (3,900ft) onto the valley floor, gathering rock and sediment as it fell.
The resulting ice-rock avalanche struck the Lhende River in Tibet, about 20km (12 miles) northeast of the Nepal-China border crossing. Debris temporarily blocked the river before the natural dam gave way, releasing a powerful flood downstream.

Following the Nepal catastrophe, URGENT humanitarian aid must now be directed to the allegedly ‘corrupt” (bought and paid for?) Nepal grubbernment so it can better equip itself to stem 1. the rising tsunami of popular unrest, 2. the rise in Hindu v Muslim conflicts and 3. the influence of China. After all, we can’t officially stand by and have the fake CCCP taking over the post of the Western sponsored Dalai Lama when he passes.

Maybe a few of our Bushmasters, a few drones and bundles of cash could come in handy in the tidy up, provided we haven’t sent them all to Ukraine. Not to mention we could also use a few more low paid Nepalese Muslim and Hindu refugees in our Aged Care facilities. Assuming of course that they settle their differences prior to importation.

Next on was mincing weatherman Seaman Staines for our enlightement, I listened eagerly for the technical explanation of how essential plant nutrient CO2 had made this glacier fall down but again I was disappointed, this time he launched himself into a football segment. Much empathy to the poor folk over there in Nepal, as if they didn’t already have enough to deal with. There’s a genuine worthy destination for some foreign aid, unlike the BILLIONS shoveled without neither our consultation nor consent into a Papua New Guinea football team while Australians live in their cars and on the street and under bridges FFS, and all the sold-out paid-off interminably grifting lying scheming double-dealing kiddy-fiddling baby-eating pollies award themselves big fat eye-watering nose-bleeding PAY RISES like CLOCKWORK, with neither our consultation nor consent even though WE pay for ALL OF IT.

Pity the entire population of every assorted species in the Australian political class weren’t on some sort of lavish taxpayer funded junket right there in the valley, that would have been money well spent, an exquisitely fortuitous circumstance unparalled in our short and sorry downtrodden history, a great big SOLID for Australia and Australians for generations to come. Maybe then we’d be able to celebrate Australia Day without being arrested and beaten to a bloody pulp, maybe then we’d be able to have a Saturday barbecue without fear of summary public execution, maybe then Granny would be able to venture out on her walking frame without being smashed into the pavement and tazered to death just because. And maybe, just maybe, we’d be able to afford something to eat AS WELL AS turn on the f***ing lights at night instead of having to choose between them. And all the rest.

The Flash Flood doesn’t MEAN to kill everyone.
That’s what the parliaments in Canberra, London, Brussels and Canberra will look like when the doors are finally opened and the slime is let out.
Something I searched for straight away was how many buildings destroyed were on ancient flood plains and what I found was that this isn’t a one off as the height of the river bank proves it that this amount of water has flooded that region before most likely before it became inhabited .
What I am curious about is this flood water and debris wreaking havoc further downstream through India all the way to the sea .
