Check out your car, it will be saving your data on where you go and what you say

By Senator Alex Antic

On 7 July, a new European Union requirement came into force requiring new vehicles sold in Europe to implement “Advanced Driver Distraction Warning” technology.

These systems are essentially designed to monitor whether a driver is keeping their eyes on the road, meaning sensors and software constantly monitor the driver’s face and eye movements and warn them when the system decides that they are distracted.

Under this system, buying a new car means accepting technology that constantly watches your movements and analyses where you are looking while you drive. To me, this represents a profound shift in the way we interact with our vehicles and marks another step towards the acceptance of constant monitoring and surveillance.

Now, you might say, “but that’s only happening in Europe.” However, the Australian government’s own National Connected and Automated Vehicle Action Plan provides for the development or updating of Australian Design Rules, including rules for driver-monitoring systems.

It states that, wherever possible, Australian vehicle standards will be aligned with relevant international standards. The Action Plan does not itself mandate driver-monitoring technology, but it shows that Australian regulators are actively considering standards in this area and that regulatory developments overseas are likely to influence the rules ultimately adopted here.

So, is the European model likely to be the template for what happens in other parts of the world like Australia down the track and is that the tip of the privacy iceberg as vehicles collect more and more data?

Well, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations has recently considered a Proposal for a new UN Regulation on Advanced Driver Distraction Warning System, which was based on a draft proposal submitted by “experts from Australia”.

Despite the overtures about safety and privacy of these systems, Australians are certainly within their rights to be wary. I have previously discussed my concerns about vehicle data collection on my podcast, which you can watch here:

Drivers should not be forced to accept these systems if they want to purchase a new car. However, that appears to be the direction in which we are headed.

Road safety is obviously very important, but so are privacy and the choice to voluntarily opt in or out of these technologies.

I am tired of constantly hearing that such measures are necessary “for your safety”, and of important questions affecting the lives of Australians seemingly being settled overseas ahead of time by globalist entities rather than at home.

15 thought on “Is your car spying on you?”
  1. At this moment in time I would be more worried about actually being able to have a car. Dumphf Vader has just reignited the MidEast wars by more radical bombing than before. Our fuel has about 30 days supply at last look and as Albo can just out bid other countries for it will be just fine, not. No moves at all on getting another refinery up or two, no the ‘system’ of labor ideocracy is still intact and blindly headed for the great financial cliff and peoples total economic disaster banker boy dim Jim messing with the economy did.
A spare tank in jerries is the best you can do for any future autoapocolypse or whatever happens when the bowsers run dry. A alternative e-bike recommended or a cheap motorbike if there’s any fuel at all about.
As for tech cars there is just more to go wrong and mess with your life and expenses. My 2008 turbo diesels only done 200k with 100 more in it no worries and still going 5l/100k.

  2. I’m so desperate to be kept safe by the powers that be I’ll even supply the prophylatics and the Asatro Glide for them. What’s more, I’ll even get down on my knees and bend over for them like a good lil laddie. That’ll make me safe and make them even more effective. It’s a win-win outcome, right possums?

  3. Statecraft is so interesting, what our Global Elites have worked out for the future, how they intend to manipulate the herd with their misinformation propaganda outlets delivering fake news en masse and think tank focus groups etc cooking the future. With Universal Basic Income, everything made public and the place run by Satanists we should be well on the way to full debauchery in another couple of generations, nothing will be funded unless it’s satanic or misleading, such as mass, televised football substituted for something of relevance.
With hobos laying around in all the parks and streets, with cage-fighting, with random police shootings, with real food and medicines forgotten and banned, it looks like a bloody mess. In WA it’s still a growth economy but other places where it has been engineered to shrink ( fail ), like Melbourne, you can see the mess spreading fast. Monitoring you in the car and trying out various injections on you to create a race of mutants like the fruit you see in Woolworths, square tomatoes, stoopid super-size mutant strawberries, drenched in spray, things that no longer qualify to be called grapes, potatoes that go rotten in one day, tasteless soft apples from 6 months in the coolstore, soft seedless oranges, oversize corn with no vitamins, herbs at $5 a tiny bunch in a plastic box from Pratt’s VISY, you can see the Satanists are obsessed with mutating and perverting anything while their top agents, the government ministers and top public servants, are all the biggest anti-vaxxers in town, because they have exempted themselves legally from injections, so if they are on camera getting some, it must be faked.
In WA the government is handing out $100 to anyone with a driver licence but you have to connect onto their PayID thing, Gee that was quick wasn’t it, Mark of the BIS has arrived already. Everyone has had a turn at being Gen X now, must be the teenagers turn to be Gen X every new decade, what do the latest Gen X know about Revelations and Mark of the BIS, was it “interpreted” in some cartoon movie I didn’t hear about, like the Ice Age was done some years ago with dancing penguins or whatever. Does the current Gen X know what they’re really up against and do they care ? The future belongs to them not me. I was Gen X ages ago, now I’m too old.

  4. If one is not prepared to make government more fearful of the people than the people are of the government one does not deserve freedom. And the problem is, that person who does not deserve freedom drags the rest of us down with them, therefore that person needs to be more fearful of us, also.

  5. If safety, not containment of children and aged twenty one years plus incompetent, illiterate, forever-wards of the state, is the number one goal of the people’s sovereign government,
their handlers, then identification and elimination of the most deadly and damaging hazard/s to the wellbeing of the wards must become the number target/s.
    .

Even if self eliminating, come what come may.

  6. The new street lights have two little pods for cameras I presume to charge road user tax per km and surveillance everyone. I have a friend who chauffeurs me around and when I say things like “Hey BYD are you recording everything and uploading it” the BYD pretends it doesn’t understand.

  7. BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO BUY A NEW CAR, OR THEY MAY TURN IT OFF WHILST YOU ARE DRIVING, OR MAKE IT PARK SOMEWHERE WHERE THE POLICE CAN FINE YOU FOR OBSTRUCTION.
IF YOU ARE A BIT TIRED, YOU WILL GET A FINE IN THE POST.

  8. The so called ‘elected government that works for we, the people’, openly showed us, when they scammed us with states of emergency and then gave us the killer Covid death and maime injections, that they are fully concerned with making our lifespans as short as possible.
So to pretend that they care whether we survive driving on our roads is a bit of a far call.
They are just using every method of suyrveilance that they can impose on us as another scam, to imply we are not safe drivers, and should not be licenced.
15 minute cities is their plan, where you only ever walk or use public transport.

  9. Take your phone with you when driving, and guaranteed you will be spied on no matter how old your vehicle….

  10. Whenever the Government talks about for your SAFETY, alarm bells are ringing loud and clear. You have been warned.

  11. They don’t want people to learn necessary skills and practices…to be more independent, and thus empowered to some degree.
Is it the desire for “instant gratification” encouraged and exploited?
    +
The CONTROL FREAKS want them dependent on the synthetic technology that disempowers them and makes them incapable of functioning without it.
“Safety” is merely a utopian marketing ploy.
They’re going to turn the people into biological robots.
    +
Jesus says: “you wanna be safe? You afraid of dying?….You in the wrong world!”.
