Federal Member for Kennedy Bob Katter today joined independent Parliamentarians from across Australia to demand the urgent implementation of self-sufficient national fuel solutions that properly protect families, farmers, transport and regional industries from being crippled by global oil crises.
Together, the North Queensland MP and fellow crossbenchers – from the country electorates of Mayo in South Australia and Calare in New South Wales, along with the Hobart-based MP for Clark, and the Western Sydney MP for Fowler – today outlined a number of domestic fuel security solutions that the Government has refused to take up in recent weeks, including:
- empowering the Treasurer to control fuel prices instead of ‘monitoring’ price-gouging;
- immediately suspending the 52c fuel excise tax on every litre sold at the bowser;
- restoring our neglected refining capabilities and strengthening liquid fuel reserves; and
- investing in the structural transition to biofuels by securing our domestic supply of renewable ethanol-blended petrol and biodiesel, while supporting thriving rural and regional industries.
“For decades, governments have avoided the enforcement of meagre state mandates for Australian-made biofuels and – unlike most other countries – have failed to implement a national mandate to secure our renewable supply of ethanol-blended petrol,” said Mr Katter after his third question on fuel security in as many Parliamentary sitting weeks, to both the Treasurer and the Prime Minister.
Mr Katter said Australia’s fuel vulnerability today was a direct result of successive governments’ repeated rejections of our own sustainable ethanol manufacturing industry to deliver cheaper petrol with fewer carcinogenic tailpipe pollutants and, in turn, future-proof our agricultural communities.
“The biggest oil crisis the world has ever seen impels the immediate enforcement, in full, of existing ethanol and biodiesel mandates in Queensland and New South Wales – along with urgent expansion to 10 per cent ethanol-blended petrol nationally – to ensure we use all that we grow in thriving regional industries, whilst reducing our dangerous reliance on dirtier, imported fuels that cost Australians dearly to deliver super-profits to our foreign overlords.”
He questioned the Treasurer on why Government refused to ban Australia’s oil exports – “which earn a measly $8,000 million whilst imported fuel costs us $62,000 million” – when “30 per cent of our fuel needs could be supplied by existing reserves without even tapping oil shales” located in Queensland.
And, given Australia’s position as a global big-four producer of grain and sugar as the natural feedstocks of ethanol, then “why no action?” asked Mr Katter. “Ethanol can right now supply three per cent of Australia’s demand. Additionally, four of the recently closed refineries can easily be recommissioned. Why, on these three obvious initiatives, has the Government done nothing?”
While the Treasurer confirmed that “locally produced fuel is a big part of the Government’s efforts” to respond to the Middle East war impacts on international fuel supply chains and domestically, he said “the relevant departments and authorities are working to see whether we could implement (a national ethanol mandate) in the future (as) all about supporting our local fuels industry”.
His comments followed similar statements today by the Energy Minister when questioned by media about implementing a greater 15-20 per cent mandated ethanol content in petrol nationwide. Confirming to reporters the Government’s consideration of “suggestions around ethanol”, the Minister said he was “not in a position to announce them or, indeed, say that they might happen (as) I take everything through the Fuel Quality Committee first before announcing it”.

“Make your own ethanol all you need is a still and you are in business, don’t drink to much.” – I make my own vodka, distill it and then add water to bring it down to 40% (80 proof). I’ve had three blokes come by and want to watch how it was done so they could do it. All three thought it was too hard and preferred to buy it.
I prefer my own vodka because it doesn’t give me a hangover if I drink too much. As a diabetic I can’t drink beer which is my favorite beverage, there are too many carbohydrates in beer for my system. I envy the blokes that can still make a superior drop of beer, of course, that also takes a bit of work. Most people can’t even bother making superior beer let alone vodka.
Tax the goyim more!
Aussies = cattle.
The article quotes Bob Katter – “… Why, on these three obvious initiatives, has the Government done nothing?”
Because that’s not the PLAN, Bob, the plan is to DISMANTLE Australia, to CRUSH it down into the dirt and clear it out for the GLOBALISTS, not build it up for the benefit of Australians, you Silly Billy.
And the article quotes the sold-out paid-off foreign-owned baby-eating Luciferian Treasurer – “… locally produced fuel is a big part of the Government’s efforts…”
… but of course we SEE the fruits of the “Government’s efforts”, their ACTUAL skulduggery, all around us every day, folks, as we all sink down into a big festering multi-generational hole of scarcity and poverty and disease and starvation and persecution and oppression and DEATH, go check out the CEMETERIES if you doubt that, all deftly engineered by the relentless ruthless remorseless merciless sadistic Treasonous sold-out paid-off foreign-owned “Government’s efforts” year after year, decade after decade, with neither our consultation nor consent.
Seems to me the fake sold-out paid-off foreign-owned CORPORATE “government” might be encouraged to make more “effort” to attend to the needs of Australians and OUR COUNTRY with the simple safe & effective incentive of sturdy rope and lamp posts. We’ll get to test that hypothesis in about five or six years, but in the meantime it sadly appears that the hapless Useless Eaters will perplexingly and impotently opt to continue enjoying the “government’s efforts”.
Make your own ethanol all you need is a still and you are in business, don’t drink to much.

This Time the U.S. Attack on Iran Will Be for Real – and for Keeps. – Global Research – 25 March 2026.
First of all, the Strait of Hormuz has remained open.
Iran is letting ships from India, Japan and other countries use it.
So there is no need to “liberate” it.
That’s not what the imminent U.S. attack is about.
And it’s certainly not about Iran seeking an atomic “weapon of mass destruction.”
That’s been the cover story to distract attention from the long-term U.S. plan that’s underlain its foreign policy for the past century.
The aim is to control Iran and the oil trade behind it – who can buy this oil and who can be denied access to oil and gas – and even more important, the export revenues from this oil trade.
This is the “final” conquest in the U.S. game to control and weaponize the world’s oil trade: To seize Iran’s oil and turn it over to either a client regime (Trump has said that he wants to select the new ruler personally) or to U.S. companies – and then to use the chaos in the Arab OPEC countries to impose the same control over them.

You gotta feel sorry for the Independents. Their meaningless symbolic existence struggles to break through the Uniparty occupation. But they’ll need a bit more than a can of ethanol and a bunch of cane sticks. They might also need us.
–
But you gotta feel sorry for us too. We struggle to stand up and be found.
The “goyim” bourgeois and kulaks gotta go…
Ethanol is just another scam born from the “global warming” scam.
If they can sell it, they will, it doesn’t matter if it’s worthless, in fact selling nothing for something is the highest art of their craft.
Car mechanics have been pretending to work for too long, probably at least 20% of every day is spent pretending. They could do real work by converting cars and trucks to LPG, which Australia produces plenty of. LPG is cleaner than petrol and diesel with no particulate emissions and lower poisonous carbon monoxide. The government as is well known gives away fuel gas to the Globalist companies for free so surely they can spare some for the domestic market where it sells for about $1.30 a litre retail. Petrol engines produce even more toxic waste gases when they are in a lower oxygen environment like a traffic jam. The lower oxygen content of the traffic jam air leads to increased amounts of toxic carbon monoxide. LPG is cleanest.
John Howard actually gave out bonuses to people to convert to LPGas but the industry did not seem to want it with Royal Dutch Shell even removing all its LPGas facilities a few years ago. LPGas comes out of the pipe without any processing and no additives. It produces wonderful CO2 gas which all the trees, plants, algae and plankton use to live. The vegetation happily soaks up the entire lot. It is the most environment friendly fuel of all, in terms of: all the infrastructure needed is to convert cars and trucks. You don’t need windmills or new BYD cars, you just get the conversion and go on as normal.
But this is much too sensible for our UnaParty federal governments, who are hell bent on finding ways to fuck everything up, and stick more tax on us all.
It appears NZ has sealed a deal with Singapore who has refineries in exchange for food from NZ. Their response seems measured and less dramatic.
Trade negotiations are ongoing in this Country as well, so obviously some Political scaremongering/point scoring is going on, the latest from the Orange Party who wants more controls in place.
Never give a Government more legislative controls – seriously.
Once everyone calms down then it will be the right time to reframe the future and be less ‘globalist’ dependent, but for now, this has all the hallmarks of the ‘covid’ drama, day after day on our screens until everyone believed it to be catastrophic.
The world is undergoing a shift – the foundations were laid years before.
It’s too late to cry over spilt milk and the true outcomes of globalism.
The petrodollar is on it’s last legs.
We are heading into the Mother of all recessions.
The battle for dominance is being fought by the big boys.
Oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz is being paid in Yuen backed currency.
If the truth is too much, turn off the TV, grow a garden, and get to know your neighbours.
Nothing is going to stop what is coming now.
Increasing the ethanol in petrol to 15-20% means…damage to cars which will take them off the road. Then you’re off to buy an EV (prividing you have the dosh) – and then – you guessed it! Then come the Smart Cities!!
